A somewhat new beginning

It's been over 6 months ever since we all agreed that it was finally time for us to rest. Not a lot has changed ever since then. One thing that changed is the fact that I finally have my driver's license so now I can drive anywhere I want to go. Also Twilight and I are still an item but even closer than before, Rip healed from his injuries three months ago, and today is the day Sunset finally gets released from the hospital. Believe me you didn't miss much everything else is the same and yes the school is still burnt down. They made the decision to build us a new school but haven't gotten started doing so. The brunt ruble from the old school is still sitting where it was left over six months ago. We don't expect them to actually go through with building us a new school but it's what we have to live through. Anyway this chapter starts off with me at my home. I decided to go downstairs and talk to Jamie for a bit mostly because I didn't have much to do so I wanted to have a casual conversation with her. I found my mom sitting right next to her on the couch reading a really thick book.

Dante~ Hey Jamie, hey mom

Jamie~ Hi Dante!

Rose~ Hello what are you up to?

Dante~ Eh nothing much I'm bored so I just came to have a casual conversation. What are you two doing?

Jamie~ We were talking about how both you and I are gonna teach you how to control your power.

Dante~ Why? I have my chain necklace around my neck most of the time. I kinda already know how to use my power. Twilight has been helping me control my abilities. She's the reason why I can do over half the things I can do today.

Rose~ How has she been helping you exactly? It's not like she's a night owl herself. Well her mother is but we know Twilight doesn't have her mother's night owl genes in her.

Dante~ Just because she isn't a night owl doesn't mean she can't help.

Jamie~ If you ask me I think she's been doing more than just help if you know what I'm saying.

Rose~ Dante if you get that girl pregnant I'm kicking your ass.

Dante~ NO, ME AND TWILIGHT ARENT FUCKING EACH OTHER! Besides I don't think she's comfortable with doing things like that. I mean we hug snuggle and cuddle but sex isn't on our minds when we do so.

My phone began to ring.

Dante~ I got a message from the others they want me to go to Sunsets house most likely for the sleepover at her place.

Rose~ Are you and Rip gonna be there?

Dante~ Yeah everyone was shocked to hear that two boys would be cool with going to a sleepover that's mostly girls.

Jamie~ Why do I feel like it's not your first time.

Dante & Rose~ It's Not!

Dante~ That's a story for another day though. Anyway I have to get ready to go too Sunsets house I'll be gone in fifteen minutes.

Rose~ okay

I went back into my room leaving my mom and Jamie on the couch. I heard them talk about something but I couldn't hear anything they said. I decided to ignore it as if it was nothing important to me or anyone else. As soon as I walked into my room I grabbed a duffle bag and packed a blanket and a puffy pillow. I took a ten minute shower before leaving. The clothing I had on was really dirty because of the yard work my mother had both Jamie and I do yesterday and I needed to get out of them. I also had this weird smell leeched onto me and I knew I couldn't go to Sunsets place like this. After my shower I checked to see if I had what I needed and grabbed my necklace. I knew I wasn't gonna need it but I wanted to wear it because it's special to me plus I never knew what would happen. My mother gave me the necklace as you all know. Anyway Rip had already sent me a message that he was already there with four of the girls so sent him a message back and made my way to Sunsets house. I drove ten miles to get there, the traffic was hectic but it was worth it. I was excited to see Sunset out of the hospital for the first time in forever. I got out of my car and rang the doorbell a minute later the door opened revealing my best buddy Rip.

Rip~ Finally you're here I thought you had second thoughts about this for a second.

Dante~ You know I'm down for whatever.

Both Rip and I made our way to Sunsets room.

Dante~ Man this is actually really exciting. I bet Sunset is really happy to finally be home hanging out with us.

Rip~ Trust me she's more than happy.

We approached and entered the room finding everyone enjoying themselves in a friendly conversation. I put my stuff down and sat next to Twilight and listen to everyone as they exchanged words with one another.

Sunset~ Dante! You're here!

Applejack~ Some of us kinda thought you weren't gonna make it.

Dante~ Please, a sleep over with the greatest friends I could ever ask for and also one of the greatest girls I've ever had in my life. Why and how would I ever miss out on this!? Right now we're only missing two.

Rip~ I sent laura and Maggie a text they both said they can't make it.

Rainbow~ Do you know why they couldn't make it?

Rip~ They didn't specify, they just let me know they couldn't come and went off the grid.

Pinkie Pie~ Well that sucks I was really looking forward to giving them these cupcakes that look justl like them I made us cupcakes that looks like all of us.

Fluttershy~ Awww they're adorable.

Pinkie grabs her cupcake and takes a bite.

Pinkie Pie~ And delicious

Rarity grabs her cupcake and takes a bite out of hers.

Rarity~ I surely can agree darling.

Sunset along with everyone else grab and take a bite into their cupcakes.

Rip~ I don't normally eat sweets but this is absolutely amazing.

Pinkie Pie~ Thank you! I put so much time into these because I wanted to make sure they were perfect for you guys.

Twilight~ They're awesome Pinkie.

Fluttershy~ And again they are so adorable.

Pinkie Pie~ Thank you guys.

Everyone came together forming a group hug. Meanwhile back at Dante's house as the day stats to get dark, Jamie and Rose aren't having that much of a heartfelt time together. Both were in the kitchen having the usual discussion.

Jamie~ You had six months to tell him the damn truth! What's stopping you from telling him!?

Rose~ The fact that I lied to him so many times before. It's not easy to protect him especially since he's learning more about his power.

Jamie~ What are you protecting him from? You still have yet to tell me what's inside him.

Rose~ You will know when the time comes…

Jamie~ I NEED TO KNOW NOW!

Rose~ And why the hell are YOU SO ENTITLED TO KNOW!?

Jamie~ BECAUSE YOU'RE PLAYING WITH THE LIFE OF SOMEONE WHO IS REALLY IMPORTANT TO ME! Growing up I didn't have a family, friends or anyone willing to let me be a part of their family… Dante was there when nobody was… and the fact that you're playing with his life pisses me off. I'm gonna go tell him myself wether you like it or not. You had your chance Rose… but now Dante is gonna know that you lied to him once again.

Rose started to comically laugh to herself. Her eyes glowed red, her hair went from rose red to a darker purple. Rose got up and grabbed Jamie by the throat and backed her into a wall choking her in the process. Fear ran through Jamie's body. She tried to break free from Rose's strong grip but nothing worked. Rose looked Jamie in the eye with a light grin on her face.

Rose~ *chuckles* What's wrong Jamie… you wanted to know what's inside him… well YOU'RE LOOKING AT IT!

Jamie~ What the hell are you…?

Rose~ I'm the same as always… but nobody has ever seen this side of me except for one person… but that's none of your business. Here's what's going to happen…

Rose put her mouth close to Jamie's ear and spole in a really soft whisper.

Rose~ You're gonna shut the hell up about what happened tonight… or I'm gonna rip every blood vessel out of your body… and kill you. So what's it gonna be?

Jamie~ I think you're gonna have to kill me… because nothing, not even you… will stop me from protecting the person I love the most.

Rose pulled out a knife and held the tip to Jamie's neck. She slowly pricked Jamie with the knife and tortured her. Blood started to drip as she slowly penetrated Jamie's neck. She then put the knife down and that's when Jamie tap into her energy and let out a huge blast of energy. The blast launched Rose across the entire room away from the nearest exit. Rose tried to catch Jamie before she escaped but it was too late.

Jamie had already disappeared in the darkness, making her way over to Dante's location. Rose snapped back into reality and sat down crying regretting everything she's ever done. Abandoning Donny, protecting Dante from something she can't control, and worst of all she regretted telling Dante all of the lies that she had ever told him. Rose got up and walked to her room quietly speaking to herself.

Rose~ You will know everything in due time Dante… But Jamie has to go… one way or the other she needs to die…

Back at the sleepover… Dante and the others are in a light conversation.

Twilight~ Ok what's your most embarrassing moments?

Sunset~ Unless you count that day we ended up being a laughing stock of canterlot high because we dressed up as well… I don't even remember what we dressed up as…

Rarity~ Oh dear… I remember it like it was yesterday. We were gonna take a group picture after Applejack had the idea of having our own tradition.

Rainbow Dash~ Then come to find out we didn't need the costumes at all.

Applejack~ That day still makes me laugh.

Rip~ Wait… you mean the first picture posted on Applejack's facebook page? *Snickers to himself*

Dante~ Rip if you think you're one to talk how about we bring up Marley?

Rip blushes trying to hide his red face.

Rip~ We don't talk about her Dante.

Twilight~ Who's Marley?

Dante~ Rip's old crush he only stopped chasing after her when he found out she was taken.

Rarity~ Darling what happened with you and your old crush.

Rip reluctantly told them what happened with him and his old crush.

Rip~ I walked up to her and asked her out on a date. Little did I know her boyfriend was right behind me. With that he grabbed me by the neck and slapped the living hell out of me in front of the whole school.

Fluttershy~ That doesn't sound nice at all.

Rip~ She even had the nerve to call me out on me liking her and she told me to never talk to her again… but I got payback on that bitch. With the help of Dante.

Dante~ We found out she was cheating on her boyfriend with ten other guys. We managed to find all of them and we all came together to expose her and completely ruin her career while doing so.

Sunset~ What did you two do?

Twilight~ I'm guessing this got crazy personal

Dante~ We lined up the guys in the front of the cafeteria with signs saying "We are dating the same bitch". They all circled around her holding the signs and turned to her. They all had water balloons filled with fake blood in their hands and threw them at her.

Rip~ And to make it even better she had on all white that day.

Rainbow~ Okaaaaay not gonna lie I like that.

Rip~ The taste of revenge is still sweet to this very day.

Twilight~ Well all that is missing is Dante's most embarrassing moment.

Dante~ Well it's not that embarrassing if you ask me but it's close.

Pinkie Pie~ What happened?

Dante~ Wellllllllll…

The doorbell rings

Sunset~ Strange, who could that be?

Pinkie Pie~ Maybe it's a pizza guy.

Fluttershy~ Did we order pizza?

Sunset~ Not that I know of. I'll go see who's there.

Dante~ I'll come with you. Sorry guys but this story is gonna have to wait a few minutes.

Sunset Dante make their way to the front door with caution. They slowly approach the door and open it. They didn't see anyone in sight.

Sunset~ That's odd… there's nobody here.

Dante~ Wait… Sunset check it out.

We found an envelope on the ground wondering where it came from, I slowly grabbed it. Seconds later i fell into a deep hallucination. It was hard for me to stand up and soon I dropped to the ground losing my complete conscience. I woke up in a large, dark, and cold void of nothingness.

Dante~ What is this place… where the hell am I?

I couldn't completely comprehend what happened to me. For all I knew I grabbed an envelope and poof I'm in this cold and dark void. I started to wander around the void hoping to find something until a familiar voice started to play in my head.

Jamie~ Dante you're in trouble… whatever happens don't trust her…

Dante~ I know that voice… that's Jamie… Jamie where are you!

???~ She lied to you again… don't trust her Dante… please don't trust her… she lied to you and your brother…

Dante~ Don't trust who? I need to know who can't I trust?

???~ No time she's after me… I have to go… save yourself and your brother from her...

Dante~ Wait don't go! Who can't i trust!? Hello!?

I slowly started to regain my consciousness. I heard another voice but this time it was a voice in the real world. Once his consciousness was slightly regained I could hear Twilight's muffled voice and feel someone shaking my entire body.

Twilight~ Dante! Dante! Wake up please!

Rip~ Come on Dante stop playing! Wake the hell up!

Dante~ Ugh… my head… What the hell happened?

Sunset~ The second you grabbed the envelope you collapsed. I didn't know what to do so I rushed to get everyone else.

Rip~ What happened to you?

Dante~ I was taken to a dark void at (least in my head). Then I heard Jamie's voice telling me not to trust someone and that this someone was after her… she told me and I quote "She lied to me" and she told me to save myself and my brother. I wasn't able to get her name but if you ask me I think I have a hunch but it's a hunch I refuse to believe.

Sunset~ Who is it?

Dante~ I… I need to get home… quick.

Rip~ I'm coming with you like it or not.

Twilight~ Same we get through this together.

Dante~ I can't let you come with me.

Twilight~ Like hell if you think I'm gonna let you go home by yourself it could be dangerous and right now you need any type of help you can get!

Dante~ I said no and that's final.

Twilight~ But-

Rip~ Twilight… trust me it's gonna be ok. We have to trust him. We have to have faith that nothing happens to him.

Twilight looked deep into Dante's eyes.

Twilight~ If you die on me I'll never forgive you…

Dante~ I promise you nothing is gonna happen to me.

Dante disappears into the night ,heading to his house he spots Jamie And notices her bleeding. He stops to talk to her. She could

Jamie~ D-Dante…

Dante~ Jamie… your neck…

Jamie~ Ohhhh yeah... that…

She lost a lot of blood I could tell just from her lack of energy. She could barely get a single sentence in because of the amount of blood she lost.

Dante~ Who did this to you?

Jamie~ R-Rose… did this to me… don't... trust her Dante... get away from her. Save your friends and your brother… She's... a rouge… a rouge owl.

Dante~ I'm not gonna leave you here. Come on let's get you to Sunset's place she won't find us there.

Jamie~ Ok… I can use…. what I have left in me... to help get us there.

Jamie grabbed my hand transferring the last of her energy to me. I closed my eyes and before I could make us disappear Jamie was taken out my hands. I looked in front of me and saw who I thought was my worst nightmare. My mother stood in front of me holding Jamie by her neck slowly crushing her. I tried to get Jamie away from my mom but before I took the first step. My mother drew the final straw. She crushed Jamie's neck and killed her. I fell to my knees in tears. My mother slowly walked up to me.

Rose~ Dante… look at me… look at your mother.

I rose my head lightly crying and look my mother in the eyes.

Rose~ Everything is gonna be alright sugar. You will know everything in due time.

Dante~ In due time… in due time… IN DUE TIME! WHO THE HELL ARE YOU! YOUR SUPPOSED TO BE MY MOTHER BUT I DON'T EVEN RECOGNIZE HER ANYMORE!

Rose~ That's not how you talk to your mother Dante.

Dante~ Fuck you! You're not my mother… you're a killer and most of all you're a damn liar. I'll never forgive you for what you put me through.

Rose~ Dante trust me…

Dante~ Trust you! You want me to trust you after you snapped the neck of someone who was supposed to be your daughter. Yet you want me to trust you…

Rose~ I want to tell you the truth-

Dante~ You had eight-teen years to tell the truth…

Rose~ Dante… please…

Dante~ Stay away from my friends, Donny and you sure as hell better stay away from me. I hope you rot in hell.

Rose~ Well… if that's the case maybe I should tell the truth about us night owls now.

Dante~ They all hate us. At least that's what you tell me all the time.
