Sparkle group at Jun's house part-2

In the living room of a certain apartment, eight beautiful girls sat down together and watching the shooting.

"SungJun-ssi, Are you ready?" "Yes"

"Check whether the cue cards are arranged in a proper manner. If possible, we'll do it in one take." "Yes, I understand, Producer-nim."

"Cameramen, are you ready?" "Yes" "Yes"

"Okay, start…" The producer gave the signal to start the interview.

Jun sat on the sofa as naturally as possible facing a camera.

He has cue cards in his hands. Some of the questions were printed on them beforehand while some of them were written with pen as if they made it on the spot.

Jun found it weird to ask himself a question and answering it by himself. Of course, if he's an idol, it wouldn't be an issue but now that he's only a normal person, he felt a bit embarrassed.

The camera started recording. Jun looked at the camera without wearing his contact lenses.

Jun gave a light bow and waved his hands to the camera, and introduced himself, "Hello, my name is Han SungJun. I'm Dahyun's elder brother. First of all, let me congratulate 'Sparkle' on winning the rookies of the year award at MAMA."

Since he wasn't given any script and he doesn't know how to act as MC, he directly started reading the question.

Q: "Who is Dahyun as a person, not as a Kpop idol?"

A: "I can't say much about the current Dahyun but the Dahyun I know, I mean like, before her journey to the idol began, she was hmm… how should I say… a hardworking girl with a lot of bad habits.

Like she has terrible mood swings, especially in the morning, you wouldn't want to disturb her if she doesn't have enough sleep. She hasn't fixed that habit, even now."

"True…" Suddenly Nayeon commented and the rest of the girls giggled. Meanwhile, Dahyun puffed her cheeks that turned a little bit red, "I'm not that irritable."

Meanwhile, Jun continued, "another example is, whenever she gets unfortunate news, her mood will turn 180 degrees no matter how happy she was. Whenever it happens, I used to compliment her until she cheers up again or buy her ice cream…

Along with that, there are a lot of bad habits. Even my fingers won't be enough if I start to count.

Still, her good quality offsets her bad habits though.

For starters, her determination is off the charts. Once she sets her mind on something, no matter how much difficulty she faces, she will complete her task for sure.

Hahaha… I guess that's a bit of a long answer. Let's go to the next question."

Jun read the question on the next cue card.

Q: "How do you feel about being a sibling of a celebrity?"

A: "Well, I'm proud that my sister is known to everyone, although I'm still surprised she became one, though. From childhood, she always wanted to be a singer but she stopped singing like when she's eight or something."

He tilted his slightly and glanced at her.

Dahyun raised her fingers.

Jun continued, "Yes, nine due to not able to hit high notes. That's when her mood swings became worse. She often used to be depressed even though trying to smile all the time. It's good that she picked herself up and fulfilled her dream."

Dahyun was stunned upon hearing Jun. She became a little bit emotional and can't help but remember her dark days. It hit her further when Jun was scouted into ZC Entertainment.

Then, he went on to the next cue card.

Q: "Name a few qualities that you like in your sister."

A: "She is straightforward, unapologetic to her actions like I'm who I am, and I don't need to explain myself to anyone. I already mentioned her determination towards the task.

Another good quality of hers is how she's highly organized, like not leaving her stuff all over the place, although sometimes it becomes annoying when she complains to my mother about how messy my room is.

She also goes with the flow. For example, if the group has differences about something and she's in the minority. She will still follow the majority without being uncomfortable."

Jun went to the next question.

Q: "How is your relationship with your sister?"

A: "I think, quite closer than many siblings."

Q: "Do you know the names of Dahyun's team members?"

A: "Of course. I follow the group."

Q: "What is your favorite song of Sparkle?"

A: "Hmm, Fiesta."

Q: "Other than Dahyun, who is your favorite among the members of Sparkle?"

A: "Uhh…"

Jun glanced at the girls who are watching the shoot and hold back himself to say Nayeon's name. In the end, he simply ended with, "everyone is good. I can't just pick one…"

Q: "What is Dahyun most deprived of?"

A: "Hmm, humanity?"

"What?" Everyone suddenly looked at Jun, including his mother. Clearly, they were shocked.

Jun looked at everyone, and laughed, "Just kidding. She's a perfectionist. Like I said earlier, whatever she has set her mind on, she is determined to make it perfect. She's someone who lacks tolerance for making mistakes. Her mood swings will make things worse when it happens. To put in one word, she's deprived of loosening up, I guess?"

Meanwhile, Dahyun covered her face in embarrassment while Nayeon tried to tease from beside her, "looks like your mood swings are acting up…"

Then, Joy suddenly said, "Is it only me or does Dahyun's brother interview seem different from other interviews?"

"Isn't that because he's handsome?" Soyeon slowly joined the discussion.

"Nah! I don't mean that. I mean, I'm not saying he isn't handsome but, the previous interviews were asked by the producer-nim…" Joy explained herself.

"Hmm…" Everyone can't help but nod together, upon hearing her response.

"It's because he is a former Kpop trainee at our company," Dahyun confessed the truth.

"Eh?" Everyone suddenly looked at her.

"By the way, I want to ask this for a while. Does your brother really have those green eyes? Earlier I think I saw brown eyes." Yena also decided to clear the things in her head.

"Yeah, he has those from birth," Dahyun confirmed her doubts, feeling annoyed inside while remembering her elementary school days where she was asked by her friends, this very same question a countless number of times.

Soon, the interviews were concluded with Jun ignoring all the questions about his personal life since he's just a side character here, so, Jun only talked about Dahyun.

After finishing the interview, while Sa-Eun went to the kitchen to prepare dinner for everyone, Jun sat with the manager.

"Congratulations on selecting for the Treasure Campus." The manager suddenly strikes up a conversation with Jun.

"Thanks, um…" Jun looked at this familiar-looking thirty-five-year-old man, "I'm sorry, what's your name, manager-ssi?"

"Kim Chang-Min. We actually met a couple of times in the past." The manager replied to him.

Jun went into his memories but didn't find anything on him, although he had a vague impression that both of them knew each other.

The manager explained, "I joined the company as an intern manager, five years ago," The manager replied. "For AOE."

"Ah! I see…" Jun had a realization but still wasn't able to remember him. "I'm sorry…"

"It's alright. I heard from your mother that you woke up recently from a coma. Are you completely recovered, right now?"

"Vegetative state, actually. Not coma." Jun clarified and then nodded, "yeah. Both my voice and my body are fine…"

Just then, their conversation was interrupted by a high-pitched voice. "Oppa, you haven't told me the details, yet."

As soon as his brother is free, Dahyun abandoned her group mates and sat beside him. "Oppa, so, you are really going to treasure campus? Everyone is talking about it. The camp is for three months, right? You get to be coached by three top producers in the nation."

"If I will make it to the top 50…" Jun replied with a sigh. "Former trainees will have it hard in this survival show."
