With the three contracts, Jun returned to his home. Taking a seat, he spoke, "Aria, show me the Character, inventory, and unclaimed rewards."

In that instant, the holographic screen popped up before him.

He first clicked on the quest that he ignored for nearly four weeks

*Ding! 0.5 attribute points were added to the Character.

*Ding! You unlocked talent, Archery

"Archery? Not much usable but anyway, something is better than nothing. Now, let's see what this unknown reward gives. He proceeded to click on the main quest.

*Ding! You are recruited into Genesis Entertainment.

*Ding! Genesis Entertainment currently holds the number one position in South Korea

*Ding! You received a Gold Tier Package.

*Ding! A new Main quest has been added to the quest board.

Jun closed the window and opened the inventory, then, click on the items section. There's a mystery box with a question mark on it.

He clicked on it and opened it.

*Ding! Lottery Wheel system has been added to the character.

"Lottery wheel?" Jun was curious about what it contained. He opened it, right away.

In an instant, a new holographic screen appeared before him.

It was divided into nine equal sections with an option push at the center. Four are good and the other four are bad. The remaining one is a question mark.

100 credits, 1000 credits, 1 random talent, 1 random skill, Question mark, -100 credits, -1000 credits, -0.1 random attribute points, and -0.5 random attribute points.

"The last one was really cruel. What if I maximum vocal attribute and it suddenly drops my stats? It would be a disaster. Should I try my luck?" He glanced at the character screen.

His luck points are at 6. That means he has 60% of luck.

At first, he hesitated but then, that 0.5 attribute points earlier reward boosted his confidence a little bit and he clicked on the push.

An arrow appeared at the top of the wheel as the lottery wheel started to spin around.

Eventually, it comes to a stop, bringing a smile to Jun's face. "Yes, this is the thing that I needed the most."

*Ding! You received a passive skill, language expert.

Language Expert (Level-1): Instantly learn, write and speak fluently, a language of your choice.

*Ding! Choose a language.

There's a list of thousands of languages in alphabetic order. Thankfully for him, there's a search button.

He didn't hesitate to choose Japanese. Despite being a Korean, he was a lover of Japanese culture and their language. He might have learned how to speak in Japanese, but he wasn't that eloquent. Now that he got an opportunity, Jun picked it.

*Ding! Choose a dialect

Jun went for Standard Japanese/Tokyo dialect as it would be too weird for a foreigner to speak the Kansai dialect.

*Ding! Knowledge transfer has begun in the background. It takes three hours.

Jun didn't feel anything different and thought he would receive everything at once.

He put the matter aside and clicked on the skill level in the bracket.

Level-1 >>> Level-2

He swiped it.

*Ding! 100 credits will be consumed. Proceed?

"Yes."

Jun proceeded to upgrade it further, intending to solidify his language skills. After all, in the world of idols, to receive massive attention from the public as well as the insiders, he needed to possess an extra skill aside from singing or dancing.

*Ding! Congratulations, Language Expert Skill increased to Level-2.

*Ding! Choose two languages from the list.

"Oh, two more?" Jun was pleasantly surprised by the result. He expected to increase 1 but here, there's one more.

First, without thinking much, he chose English but unlike Japanese, there aren't many options.

Choose: American English, British English

He was more familiar with American English. So, he chose the first option.

*Ding! Knowledge transfer has begun in the background. It takes two hours.

Then, he thought for a while, wondering which to pick between Spanish and Chinese.

Spanish is widely spoken in the world and a lot of top-viewed music videos also belonged to Spanish. However, in Jun's view, if he releases Spanish songs in the future, whether they would popular in that community or not, it's highly debatable.

On the other hand, China might be a big market but lately and even in the future, it will become a dead zone for kpop artists. Maybe, he can gain enough following if he sings and releases Chinese songs but his identity as a Korean itself might become a huge problem there. And the language is widely concentrated in one country.

Adding on top of that, there's a high chance that the number of haters will only increase in the future.

But, there's one positive point in learning the language, which defeats all those negative points.

Which is…

Jun can communicate with his goddess Tzuyu, maybe, impress her a little bit with his language skills.

She was in Genesis Q Entertainment, a subsidiary company of Genesis that manages only two girl groups. One of them is Twilight, where Tyuzu is a part of the group, debuting a few months ago.

Under the same parent company, Jun is bound to meet his goddess, more than a few times in the upcoming years. Getting a favorable impression from her, in front of that, the other accomplishments feel paler for a hardcore fan like him.

Moreover, it's not that he can't learn Spanish, later. He needed 200 credits and voila, the skill would reach the third level and he gains the knowledge of a bunch of languages.

Upon reaching a decision, he clicked on Chinese. Then, he clicked on Mandarin.

*Ding! Knowledge transfer has begun in the background. It takes six hours.

The next day;

Dahyun: Yeah, you did a good thing, Oppa.

Jun: Okay, I'll chat with you later. I'll have to go to the Employment agency, after that, go and meet the suppliers, there's so much to do. You too needed to claim the money. Visit me when you are free.

Dahyun: Okay, see you.

Jun: See you

Closing the messenger, Jun left for the shower.

Later, he went to the employment agency to hire a manager. With his experience from the previous life, he noted that the salary for the full-time job should be at 5 million won (~4200 US dollars) per month, almost 160% that of the national average.

Even for a Seoulite, it's a good wage for a store manager. Not to mention, he didn't ask for any qualifications. All he asked was for the person to have at least 2-3 years of experience and have a basic knowledge of music.

He put up a 3-year contract with severance pay of one month for every year they managed to stay. He also added a clause that during the first six months, the employee can be fired by the owner in case the performance is not up to the standards.

Along with the store manager, Jun also planned to hire two part-timers, mostly college students or graduates who were training to become an idol in a small agency. He put an hourly wage of 10500 won per hour.

As for the suppliers, during the past weeks, they contacted him about the delayed shipments due to the closure of the store. Jun was in touch with them.
