Weekly evaluations part-1

After lunch, the group of four returned to the training room and took a rest for about 30 minutes until a certain handsome fellow peeked inside the room and entered with a smile on his face after he saw the four trainees.

"Hello," Everyone stood on their feet and bowed. The thirty-odd year young man returned the greetings. There was a pretty woman in her mid-twenties that followed him into the room. She looked like a mixed Korean at one glance.

"Hello, I'm Kim Yong-Jin. I'm your teacher for the modeling classes." He informed them before starting to explain, "since you don't learn actual modeling, most of our lessons will be conducted right here."

As everyone nodded and took their seats, he continued, "As male idols, you don't need to learn walking like some model, just a basic steady walk is enough. But, you will be pictured by several reporters and fans with or without consent. In any case, you shouldn't give any bad picture to them, at any time. So, you needed to mind your standing and sitting postures when in a public place.

If any of you have the habit of Hunchback posture, you need to work on it. Your backs needed to be straight at all times, especially when sitting.

In many award functions, the seats you will sit in will not have any backrest. In such cases, you can never show any unsightly poses as it will give the impression that you are tired.

The four of you only need to work one thing. It is expression. As long as you can be flexible, the rest can be managed by the photographers. The company has top-tier professionals. Our Cho Angela-ssi is also a professional who worked with the models. So, you are in safe hands and just do not become tense about it.

You'll learn about expressions and such in acting classes. So, while you learn that, you'll practice different poses and practice the walking pace before the camera."

Everyone nodded.

Within fifteen minutes, the training room turned into a mini photoshoot.

Suga, Daniel, and Hanbin are just watching from the sidelines in silence as the photographer kept asking Jun to change poses and she's taking from different angles.

Luckily, none of the three were jealous type. They just enjoyed being spectators and even laughed a bit, watching how miserable their teammate had become.

Within the next fifteen minutes, the Korean-American woman took over 100 photos of Jun while complimenting him often.

Meanwhile, the modeling teacher was surprised by how natural Jun appeared for the poses. Whether it is looking arrogant, cold, having a charming smile, whatever the expression, it appeared naturally.

After the mini photo shoot was done, Kim Yong Jin checked the photos and was surprised even further.

Staring back at Jun, he said, "People would usually have their best angles when it comes to taking a photo and it is seldom to find people who can look their best in every angle. If you learn modeling techniques, you can become professional easily."

"Thank you." Jun bowed with a smile, feeling happy that he was praised. At the same time, he himself was surprised that he had such talent.

Kim Yon Jin then gave a piece of advice, "The best part is your emerald eyes. They might look ordinary on a typical European but for you, they steal the attention of the viewer right away.

And it is even more so, on the camera. It's better not to wear contact lenses at all and try to be more comfortable with them even in daily life. That way, it becomes a lot easier. After all, the more talented an idol is, the more unique he/she had to be, in order to be special for their fans."

As Jun bowed again, Kim Yong Jin looked at the other three, and gave suggestions to them too, "Hanbin-ssi, you are perfect as you are. Kang Daniel-ssi, you need to more work on your expressions. I would suggest you watch movies and impersonate the actors' looks at particular situations. You also have this face where you act cute and cheerful.

And Min Yoongi-ssi, you have this natural cold look. I would want to say that you practice more but personally, you can make yourself more distinguishable if you maintain that character."

Soon, the two of them left with Jun letting out a deep sigh as he sat on the floor.

While Suga and Hanbin became busy with mobile phones as if nothing happened earlier, Daniel lie beside Jun and grinned, "Hyung, I think that noona seemed to take a liking to you."

Jun just stared at the ceiling and replied, "Just posing for ten minutes is more exhausting than ten hours of dance practice."

After a 15-min break, another stranger entered the room. It was different from Jun's memories at ZC where he would take lessons along with other trainees.

Jun then remembered the house he was currently living in. It was lavish and all but was located in a place where they can't roam freely around the neighborhood, where security guards patrol like police, and too many cctvs were installed at every corner as if the neighborhood is under heavy surveillance.

It led to him wonder whether all the idols at Genesis were too restricted in the name of luxury.

After the acting classes, it was the time for language classes, first Korean, followed by English. Since they were also solo artists who will perform internationally, the management decided that it is mandatory for the four of them to learn English too.

Once again, Jun proved to be the best of the four, but the language ability only gave him fluency over the language. He still needed to work on how to be eloquent. As an idol, the choice of words is the most important as every speech of his will be monitored by the public. And he will attend variety shows to promote his albums. If he wants more air time, having eloquence and being witty is a must.

By the time all the classes are over, it is already 4. None of them wasted any time and get to the practice.

The next day morning;

*Clap* *Clap* *Clap* *Clap*

"5, 6, 7, 8"

Hanbin and the other three were practicing the choreo adjusted by their mentor because the original had 7 and they were only 4.

"Suga-yah, you keep messing up the formation." "SungJun-ssi, you stand too far from Daniel-ssi." "Daniel-ssi, good job."

Hanbin was the first to perfect all the dance moves. As the temporary leader, he took the responsibility of perfecting the choreo and then, guided the other three.

Daniel was the next to perfect it. Jun also didn't seem to have any problem apart from tiny little mistakes but Suga turned out to be the hole. It's not because he isn't talented in dance or something. Jun saw that he had 7 points in dance.

But, the problem here lies with Hanbin himself. He is a perfectionist who seemed to be obsessed with not tolerating even a tiny mistake.

He kept on making them practice over and over without a break until he was satisfied.

Outside the practice, Hanbin was like this uninteresting second male lead that behaves and talks nicely, but during the practice, he suddenly transforms into that of a strict mentor. Jun felt as if Hanbin had a split personality.

For several hours, Hanbin would have this serious look on his face and when he watches the videos of their practice, his eyes would narrow, and then, he would furrow his brows while pointing out every little mistake.

Of course, Hanbin choose his words well when speaking to Jun and Daniel as they weren't close enough but Suga is different. Both of them consider each other as a person in their inner circles, the people that are comfortable talking at any time and can be talked in an informal tone.

And as Suga is weak in dancing when compared to the other three, Hanbin couldn't help but be harsher on him.

Daniel even whispered to Jun that Hanbin was scarier than JYP who criticized everyone in the Treasure Campus program.

On the other hand, Jun liked it, not because he liked Hanbin's strict evaluations, but it's because Jun's stat slowly rose as practice sessions got more intense.

By Tuesday lunchtime, Hanbin was finally satisfied with everything and gave his approval for the other three to prepare for their solo performances.

Then, it became even worse.
