Ch 8 - New Gu's Use

There is no strongest or weakest gu in the Gu world, only the strongest or weakest Gu master.

In the low bushes nearside the lake beside the mountains, a group of wild boars were quietly eating. The female wild boar with five small wild boars created an arch in the soil to find the roots buried in the ground, while the male wild boar stared at the surroundings vigilantly. The little wild boars were very happy while playing and fighting from time to time. Once they ran far away, the female wild boar would chase them back angrily. The male wild boar didn't care much about it. In this territory, even the wolf would have to detour when they saw the couple. Under his nose, he was confident that no one could hurt his child. When his children grow up in a few days, then even they would have a family, and he was afraid that the he would have to let them go.

Seeing the little wild boar running around and the female boar busy in making the arch, the male wild boar hummed triumphantly and closed his eyes, a little lost in his harmony for a while.

"Aw~!" "Aw~!" Two screams in succession awakened the male boar. At the edge of the bush, his two children screamed and fell to the ground. There was a hole in their neck that was constantly spraying blood. A human holding a spear suddenly appeared behind them.

Despair and Anger filled the eyes of both the male and female boar.

"Murderer!" They both rushed towards Chen Xing at the same time. But Chen Xing didn't panic, his eyes fixed on the three little wild boars at the other end of the bush, and when the two big wild boars were about to get closer, he suddenly disappeared.

He killed those babies easily and escaped 20 metres using the Soil Drilling Gu which was outside the attack range of those adult Wild Boars.

"What are you talking about - was it too cruel to kill those defenseless babies? If those wild boar does not die, I would not gain experience, and I will not be able to advance my rank, and it will mess up my future!" Loyalty to others is betrayal to oneself, betraying others is loyalty to yourself. Chen Xing didn't care about what methods he used but only cared about the methods which benefited him the most.

With this soil-drilling Gu, Chen Xing's road to ranking up has become more relaxed and comfortable than before. In the afternoon sun, he found a small forest and took a nap. The sun was dappled, the cicadas cried faintly in the small woods, and the soil-drilling gu on the side played in the mud. Soil-Drilling gu fed on the soil. At this time of the day, he only needs to put the Gu in the soil and it will eat automatically. Compared with Moonlight Gu, he would need to feed it a moonlight petal every three days (a spiritual stone can buy 4 petals), but it is also easy to feed.

Following these players all the way, Chen Xing got into a dense forest, which was very deep in the hills. The wild boars all around them were in groups, and ordinary players were afraid to come here to level up. Chen Xing followed the players in front to bypass these groups of wild boars, and suddenly he heard a faint sound of fierce fighting and the roar of wild boars.

"Sure enough, there is a BOSS!" Chen Xing tiptoed forward a certain distance, and a huge wild boar suddenly appeared in front of the dense forest. He saw that this wild boar was three times the size of an ordinary wild boar, and its size was comparable to a rhino in reality, and a large group of players were fighting around it.

Chen Xing didn't know this person, but the player next to him who shouted "Come on" had the impression that it was the recruiter from the StrongPower Guild.

"It seems that they are all acquaintances. Acquaintances are easy to handle," Chen Xing smiled while approaching the outer circle carefully.

'What a stamina this wild boar has, even after being caught by so many hooks and locks, and covered in so many wounds, it still refused to stop', Chen Xing mused to himself.

The wild boar king suddenly had a black light flashing on its body, and with a loud roar, it's huge body jumped forward carrying alongwith a large group of players.

"Opportunity!" Many people are weak in nature, and often when the opportunity is right in front of them, they don't dare to fight for it, and so they miss out on great opportunities.

Chen Xing used the Soil Drilling gu and now he was no longer where he earlier was. When he reappeared, he was already on the side of the big wild boar.

He held the spear and ran towards the wild boar king in a rush, and pierced it's throat.

A huge force suddenly came, and he almost had to let go of the spear in his hand. At this time, his skill in killing wild boars for two consecutive weeks was becoming more apparent. Chen Xing retreated to take advantage of the situation and taking the spear back, he pointed it at the big eyes of the wild boar king.

It was too late for anyone to stop it, even the wild boar king knew it couldn't dodge or survive this attack. The people in the StrongPower Guild hadn't reacted yet, thinking it was a killer from their own guild, meanwhile Chen Xing's spear had passed through the eyes of Big Wild Boar and even peirced the skull and brain matter. The big wild boar suddenly stopped in place, convulsed, and fell to the ground with a boom. A gu worm glowing with black light flew out of the wild boar's head hurriedly trying to escape. Chen Xing's eyes lit uo, and he quickly caught the gu worm with his left hand. Then activating the Soil Drilling gu using his primeval essense, he appeared 20 metres away outside the encirclement of the StrongPower Guild players.

"Catch him!" A furious shout made the players of the StrongPower Guild wake up and they all quickly understood that an outsider has obtained the fruits of their efforts.

Chen Xing don't know who sent a moon blade first, but then countless moon blades shot at Chen Xing. But he was already 20 meters away, and was still running further, while these moon blades disappeared in the midway due to their insufficient range.

Chen Xing look couldn't afford to look behind him, he just bow his head and ran forward, when just at this moment a sharp burst of air came from behind his head. It was the leader of the StrongPower Guild. Chen Xing didn't know when the moon blade was launched at him. This moon blade was not like other white moon blades, but it's whole surface was azure in color, and it was much faster, and had a much longer range. Chen Xing has to give it the first time.

Chen Xing was not a wild boar, and hence after a small portion of the moonblade sliced through his neckside, there was probably a bowl-big scar left on his neck. At this juncture of life and death, Chen Xing gritted his teeth, spurred by primeval essense, once again activated Soil Drilling gu and burrowed into the ground. When he reappeared, it was already 50 meters away. This was the limit of Soil Drilling Gu for now. At this point, the player of StrongPower Guild had no means to track Chen Xing at all, and hence no one was able to stop him.
