Chapter three

"So what exactly do these things do."

"well I can heal people and make a force filed. I also have a sword." Bankay says

"I can fly and I got an axe." Hashime says looking at us.

"So what can I do.." I slowly stand up and the gem glows I get a whip and some shoes.

"I have...shoes?"

"try running."

"uh okay" I run but its about 1000 times faster than I normally do. I hit the wall and look at Bankay.

"cool." He says smiling.

"now whip Hashime"

I do and it electrocutes him Bankay heals him. I smile and walk over to Kumi.

"has she woken up yet?" I ask

"Nah she did for a second then went back to sleep."

"Of course she did," I say madly

"You should lay down. Your still little hurt."

"Come on Bankay I'm fine."

"Nope, come on."

"I want to go home Simon hasn't had food."

"I don't think that's a good idea," a small man says walking in. I hide behind Bankay staring at him.

"Who are you?" Bankay asks

"I am Mister Mills. I am here to bring you guys to a safe place. now that you have...uh...those" He points to Bankays gem.

"So you know about them?" Bankay asks

"Yes, your not the first ones to have them. now come on. we will go to each of your houses and get your stuff." Mister Mills says. I look at Bankay not knowing what to do. He looks at me too and nods.

"Okay," I say softly we go to each house I have to grab everyone's stuff since I'm fast enough no one will see me. we walk around for what seems like days then finally we get to a place. it is all cement surrounded by grass. There is a big iron door in the front and cameras everywhere.

"well this is roomy" I grunt.

We all go inside and every inch is either metal or cement. it's not too dark but some spots are. Mister mills leads us up to four rooms. one is pink one is purple one is one is light green and one is yellow. the purple and yellow rooms are by each other than pink and light green are by each other too. By now we all found out Kumi can teleport and turn invisible.

"your room is the same color as your gem. I will leave you to unpack and talk." Mister mills says walking away. I go into the purple room and see a glass door leading to Bankays room. I set my stuff down and take Simon out of my bag I smile and pet him. I put his food and water bowls in the corner with his food.

I put my clothes in a big closet in the wall and I put my other things in the side table. I decide I want to change I grab a white flowy crop top and some high wasted jean shorts. I sit on the bed petting Simon I hear a knock on the glass door.

"come in," I say putting Simon next to me. Bankay comes in and sits by me petting Simon.

"Are you..doing okay with all this?" Bankay asks. I pause for a moment then sigh.

"I'm not sure, one second your a normal person then your some freak-" Bankay cuts me off.

"Your not a freak." He says in a serious voice. when he talks like that it makes me nervous he's too big and if I fought him I would be dead in a matter of seconds. He puts his arm around me and pulls me close to his chest. My heart skips a few beats.

"Your not a freak. no one here is. well maybe mister mills but other than that we're just people. yeah, we got powers but we're still humans." Edward says putting Simon on my lap. I look up at bankay.

"Do you think it's weird you didn't get a fighter power?" I ask finally. he pauses looking at me.

"No, I'm already strong. Plus you knuckleheads need someone to protect you." Bankay says chuckling. I giggle and lay back on the bed.

"If mister mills gives us crap I'm beating his face in," I say smiling at Bankay. Bankay rubs my head then gets up and walks to the glass door.

"Shower and change into something comfortable. sleepover in my room." Bankay walks out and closes the door behind him. I sigh happily and get up. I grab the fluffy white towels that we're in the closet and I grab a silk top and bottom Pajama.

I get in the shower the water is warm and nice. I was my hair with a cherry blossom soap. I don't want to get out but I want to cuddle Simon so I do. I change into the silk pajamas and walk to Bankays room. Hashime and Kumi are already there. I'm holding Simon.

"Hey guys," I say as I sit on the wood floor.

"Hi," Kumi says the boys are talking so they don't notice me Kumi sits next to me and pets Simon. I slap her hand and that gets the boys attention Kumi sniffs rubbing her hand.

"Don't touch Simon," I say in a mad tone. Hashime burstets out laughing his head off. I glare at him.

"I don't see what's so funny I could beat the tar outta you." That shuts him up but Bankay gives me a confused look. After a few hours of laughing and yelling we all fall asleep. I fall asleep on Kumis shoulder she lays me down and lays next to me. Bankay kicks Hashime off his bed and Hashime sleeps after glaring at him.
