The Hard Truth

I flinched at the sudden and surprisingly correct answer. Craning my neck over the two boys I got full view of the 6 other males standing a few meters back. They looked at me as if they were sad or...... Scared.

Their bright blue glistened under rays of the sun. I instantly realised who these males were. I studied them before facing to the hard truth.

There they were, standing right infront of me but I couldn't do anything about it. They were avoiding me but I could see that they didn't want to. Their actions hit me like a ton of bricks. I wanted to cry but I couldn't for the sake of the two humans infront me. I wanted to run to them but they were scared of me. My own brothers were scared of me.

I don't blame them though. They think I'm a demon. "Oh, wow. How did you know my name?" I asked, mentally cursing my self for my unrealistic suprised reaction. "A lucky guess." Is all I got back.

My eyes started to fill up with salty, wet, longing tears. "Are you okay?" The human on my right asked cornered. "Oh, ermmm...." I was struggling to find a valid reason. "Oh, allergies, yeah. You know the forest and pollen isn't the best for my eyes, my apologies." I blurted.

A sliggt scoff could be heard from one of my brothers. "Oh okay well, come with me." The boy on my right grabbed my fore arm and pulled me over towards my brothers. He started to introduce them to me. "This is Roy, Kyle, Syd, Levi, Harry, Jacob and Ethan ...." He continued.

Gritting my back teeth, I sacked a smile on my face and greeted them as if it was the first time I ever met them. They did the same.

I could read them like a book. As soon as the y touched my hand a red flag warned their mind. Angels body, or hands in this case, would normally be warm and welcoming. Mine though, were stone cold. Like ones of a corpse. Like ones of a demon.

My heart sunk but I kept a straight face. That was until.

"Hey Arura. Wanna hang out with us?"
