Free Falling

"Um sure.." I answered unsure of whether or not I was going to regret this later. Well at least I get to spend time with my brothers for a while.

"Tag your it." One of the humans called out as he tapped Levi's shoulder. We immediately ran and scattered across the area like marbles. Levi ran and chased Roy nearly tripping over the old matress laying in middle of the floor. All of us were laughing at their clumsiness. It felt everything was perfect. No worries, no sorrows, ni pain, just like it used to be back a few thousand years ago when we were just ordinary angels. I'm sure all of us felt that way. We fogot everything and enjoyed the moment. We played various games for hours on hours on end laughing and joking. Soon enough it was starting to get a little dark.

As we were taking a picture I heard an unusual loud crack of wood behind me. Twisting around I scanned the woods and that's when I realised that a huge tree was a falling. Under the tree stood Kyle and the two humans.

My senses kicked in and I used my guardian angel powers to run super fast. I knew if I ran at a normal pace they wouldn't be able to save them and they would die.

As the tree was collapsing on the three clueless males I shoved them out of way as hard as I could. The trees braches scratched my body, it was that close to the ground.

We dropped to the groud just like the tree enormous beside us did. Kyle lay infront of me dazed at situation. He slowly checked his surroundings. His eyes scanned the tree then the two humans, finally the trailed over to me. I turned on to my back and inhaled deeply, weakly smiling at Kyle who stared at me in confusion and disbelief.

The two humans slowly returned to the scene from their dark black dream. "What?" The one with light brown hair asked as he tried to sit up straight.

The rest of the boys rushed towards us, first taking priority of the two humans and Kyle. They left me to fend for my self, which I don't blame them. Why help a demon, is probably what there thinking about right now.

Once I got myself together I rose to my feet only to be greeted by the two humans. They ran up to and hugged me which I gladly returned.

I peeked a glance at my brother and it was clear that they felt unsure and uneasy about leaving the humans with me. I could also sense that they were confused about why I saved them. Not exactly a demonic thing to do.

I released the hug quickly, for my sake. "It starting to get dark you should go home before anything else happens." I pointed out backing away from the guys. I didn't want to but if my brothers felt that I was some sort of a threat it was better if I backed off. "Nice meeting you guys. Hope to see you again. Buh-bye!"

I was waving goodbye before turning around about to make my journey back into the dense woods but I felt a presence behind me. It was one of the humans running over to me.

"Wait why don't you come to ours and sleep over for the night, we had fun having you around here so why not come over." The boy with light brown hair blurted out before stopping himself infront of me.

Unsure of what to say I looked at my brothers for guidance. Kyle and Jacob smiled at me but the rest avoided my gaze. "I don't know. We just met and it seems like a big step doesn't it. How about we trade numbers and meet up some time?" I suggested grabbing my phone from my back pocket.

Surprisingly my brothers walked over to me and we all traded numbers. Afterwards we bidded each other goodbye and parted ways. Them, towards the city while I, in the forest.
