TWENTY SEVEN

Jimin

The only name that kept on echoing in Namjoon's head as he drove home from work.

How in the world had he not figured out who park Jimin was.

He had met a lot of people who bare the name Jimin but he couldn't get why he forgot Park Jimin from high school.

They dated for a moment before Namjoon broke up with him on the count that Jimin was not his type.

He was straight but he had been pressured by one of his close friends into dating him because his friend knew Jimin had a crush on Namjoon and he owed Jimin.

He wouldn't a hundred percent blame himself though, Jimin's features had changed so clearly over the years.

The last time he remembered Jimin, he was a bit plum with a slightly round and puffed face, but now he had slimmed down, and gotten firm in all the right places.

His face had sharpened out as well and become a slight bit taper at the chin, this version of Jimin was in a whole contrast to the innocent, cute and cuddly Jimin he used to know.

Now it seamed like Jimin could just strip him off his clothes with just a blink of an eye.

The only thing that remained the same was his eyes and pouty lips, he remembered telling Jimin that his favorite part of him was his lips.

He roughly ran his hands across his face gripping his staring wheel tighter, for now he would have to push Jimin and think about the young male later.

He needed to get home and see for himself that Yeonjun was alright.

Jimin stopped by his mom's house to pick up Niki, not forgetting to thank her for taking good care of him while he was at work.

He was annoyed and he was sad, Namjoon didn't even care much about him to even remember his face.

He could bet that his character hadn't changed as well.

"Mummy why are you sad?" Niki asked placing his Chimmy plushie against Jimin's cheeks.

Jimin turned to Niki who was now seating very close to him on the bed staring wide eyes at him.

"I'm not sad-"

Niki placed his Chimmy on Jimin's face silencing the older male, "you are, you look like me when you go to work."

Jimin placed a kiss on Niki's cheeks, "I'm okay, alright baby?"

Niki slightly pouted before nodding.

"Let's go to bed baby," he gently brought Niki up with him as he laid the blanket over both of them.

"Good night mommy," Niki said nestling in between Jimin's arms and chest.

"Night"

Beomgyu made the last folding on his clothes before ironing.

His clothes had dried some hours ago after it had been put to wash, but the latter was more comfortable in Yeonjun's clothes and decided on wearing his and not wearing his own.

He turned off the iron and placed his clothes in a separate basket in the laundry room.

On his way out, he stopped by the mirror to take a look at himself, arranging his bangs and arranging his clothes.

He paused suddenly and turned to look behind him thinking he heard something, a voice of sort.

Seeing no one and not hearing the voice again, he shrugged it off and headed outside and back to Yeonjun's room.

He pushed the door slowly, just in case the older male was already asleep, but he wasn't, he was reading a novel and laying on his bed.

"You don't want to sleep?" Yeonjun asked after sensing Beomgyu's presence not even bothering to lift up his head.

'Way to get caught,' Beomgyu thought before entering fully into the room.

He was supposed to be in bed by now, Yeonjun had sent him off hours ago.

He couldn't sleep alone obviously and decided on ironing his shirt to stall Yeonjun for a bit and wait for the latter to fall asleep so he would join him in bed.

"I want to," Beomgyu shut the door behind him.

Yeonjun lowered the book in his hands, "are you scared?"

Beomgyu pouted a bit, hurt at the assumptions Yeonjun made against him even when they were totally correct, "I'm not scared."

'I just feel someone is in the same room with me,' Beomgyu thought.

"You need to sleep," Yeonjun spoke.

"Okay..." Beomgyu said slowly raising and crawling under the blanket on Yeonjun's bed to lay next to him, "I'll sleep," he said as he made himself comfortable on the bed.

"You want to stay here?"

"I promise not to make a sound....you won't even know I'm here," Beomgyu shut his eyes tight pretending to be asleep.

The edge of Yeonjun's mouth tilted up a bit.

Beomgyu slowly moved closer to  Yeonjun nestling himself beside him and draped an arm around Yeonjun's body and placed a leg over his.

He peeked his eyes open to look at Yeonjun and then shut it, "you won't even know I'm here," he whispered.

Yeonjun placed his novel on his bed side table and placed his one hand on Beomgyu's cheeks rubbing circles on it.

Beomgyu popped out his cheeks at the feel of Yeonjun's hands on it.

"You..are..cute," Yeonjun said slowly.

"So you've told me," Beomgyu smiled again, he found it cute how Yeonjun always found it hard to compliment him.

"You always find it hard to compliment me huh," Beomgyu said with his eyes still shut as he pulled his body even closer to Yeonjun's.

"You are pretty," he said normally this time.

Beomgyu rose his head to look at Yeonjun, was he really trying.

"And?" Beomgyu pressed on.

"Your voice..."

"My voice?"

"It's.. soothing....it's deep and alluring.....I like it when you talk," Yeonjun said.

"You like my voice," Beomgyu smiled making his voice deep on purpose.

Yeonjun nodded, "I like your hands too."

"what else?" Beomgyu puckered his lips out, hinting at it.

Yeonjun rose his Beomgyu's chin, "I like them too," he placed his lips on Beomgyu's putting a hand at the nape of Beomgyu's to hold him in place.

"We should go on a date.." Beomgyu said through the kiss, "to get to know each other better."

Yeonjun hummed into the kiss.

No tongues were involved, just a full lip kiss, they could really feel each other's mouth as they moved in sync.

Yeonjun cradled Beomgyu's head securely as he delved deeper into the younger's mouth getting lost in the warmth of it.

Beomgyu pulled back for air but Yeonjun didn't need that at the moment, he would have kept on going if Beomgyu hadn't pulled away.

They heard a knock at the door before Namjoon's voice, "Yeonjun, are you okay? I want to talk with you."

Beomgyu immediately shut his eyes and placed his head on the pillow pretending to be asleep, using the blanket to cover his smile.

Namjoon opened the door after not hearing Yeonjun's voice, he was met with the sight of Yeonjun and Beomgyu in bed.

"Can I have a word with you."

Yeonjun nodded before getting up after peeling Beomgyu's arm and leg off his body and followed Namjoon to his room.

"So you didn't kill him?" Namjoon asked  as they approached the stairs to his room.

Yeonjun thought for a moment, "I never wanted to.....I couldn't."

Namjoon turned to him now backing the stairs.

"He helped me actually," Yeonjun said remembering the first time Beomgyu touched his arms after they got out of the car.

He felt relieved in a way.

"So you like him," Namjoon kept on walking.

Yeonjun sighed out, "I don't know...he needs him," Yeonjun pointed to his chest, "I...don't want to rely on someone for survival."

"So you need him as well?" Namjoon rose a brow.

Yeonjun let out a deep sigh, "unfortunately, I don't even know how or when it started...maybe I do like him..need him," Yeonjun smiled at the memory of Beomgyu cuddling him not to long ago, "but I don't want to depend on him."

Namjoon leaned on his room door eyeing the male before him, "so that's your only concern being with him?"

"I guess," Yeonjun stuffed his hands in his pockets darting his tongue out to moisten his lips, "what do you think I should do? Would everything go back to normal if he is out of the picture."

"Do you really want to kill him?" Namjoon held back a chuckle.

"No, I just....he makes me feel so many things, I even complimented him, I have never done that before," Yeonjun spoke, "he makes me remember what it was like to be human."

"You want to be human again?" Namjoon rose a brow.

"No," Yeonjun said almost immediately, "humans are weak."

"Ouch," Namjoon chuckled.

"I don't know how to explain it, I don't want to be human...but I want to feel what it's like to be human again at least just for a little while....I want to be human for him."

"Hmmm," Namjoon's lips stretched out into a smile, "the matured and disciplined version of me would have told you to, push your feelings away and avoid hurting him or yourself.....but I say go for it, you might not get the opportunity again you know."

"How will I know if it's genuine."

"What?" Namjoon questioned.

"The feeling between us.....I would I know if it's genuine or not."

Namjoon smiled having being in that situation numerous times, "only time would tell.....but in my opinion you are good to go, he doesn't seem to hate or have anything against you."

"Yeah, he actually told me he liked me."

"Straight forward already," Namjoon spoke raising his brows, "so he is the bold type....I've never pictured him as that before."

"But-"

"Yeonjun?" Beomgyu called from below the stairs grabbing both males's attention.

"Hmm?"

"Sorry I interrupted," Beomgyu's walked closer to Yeonjun and laced his fingers with the older's, he glanced  at his sides and behind him before speaking, "I heard noises," he whispered to Yeonjun.

"You are afraid to stay alone?" Yeonjun smirked.

"Yes...I mean no,no , I just heard someone's voice."

Namjoon took the opportunity to slip into his room.

"What did it say?" Yeonjun tilted his head to the side.

"I couldn't make out the word," Beomgyu said, "it was all whispers."

"Let's go then, I don't want you to be afraid," Yeonjun said casually as he  turned to leave.

"I am not afraid," Beomgyu hit Yeonjun's shoulder with the paws of his shirt.

"Wait," Namjoon said walking to Yeonjun, "here," he placed a small green box in Yeonjun's hands.

Beomgyu's face turned beet red as his mouth hung open.

"Why, what's it for," Yeonjun spoke not bothering to read the name on the box.

Namjoon glanced past Yeonjun to look at Beomgyu, who was avoiding his gaze, "you know what it's used for right?"

Beomgyu blushed the more.

"Make sure to give me a heads up a day before okay," Namjoon spoke before walking back into his room.

__

In the middle of the night, Beomgyu couldn't sleep.

He tossed around slightly on the bed, not because he was uncomfortable, but because he was having a very realistic nightmare.

He could see himself in a dark room, no other people or things were present except for a red light shining far across from him.

He walked slowly to the light and was surprised because it was actually a door way leading outside.

Immediately he stepped out, he regretted it.

The air was foul and the floor was stained with blood and littered with the bodies of the dead.

'Where am I?'

Beomgyu thought as he glanced around trying to block out the gorey sight before him.

He accidentally struck his foot against a body, an all too familiar body at that and stepped back, away from it.

Tears pricked his eyes at the sight of a bloody Taehyun.

He immediately covered his mouth to prevent himself from throwing up and tried to turn away but Taehyun's voice called his attention back.

"You did this," Taehyun said without moving, his lips weren't even moving, but he knew his best friend's voice when he hears it.

"Me?" He questioned confused as to what was going on.

Beomgyu turned to look around, when the sky began to turn to a reddish shade, "where in the fucking hell am I?"

"Somewhere you shouldn't be."

He heard a voice say behind him, it sounded like two voices talking simultaneously, but he could clearly make out one of the voices as Yeonjun's.

He turned to look behind him and saw a figure chained to the group, from the back he could easily tell that it was Yeonjun.

"Jun," Beomgyu called walking closer to him, but soon slowed down his pace at Yeonjun's words.

"I did it...I did it all."

Beomgyu placed his hands on Yeonjun's shoulder, "wha- ouch," he immediately removed his hands away from his shoulder.

His body was as hot as fire itself.

"What?" Beomgyu moved to see his face but stopped when Yeonjun stood, the chains falling off his body like it wasn't even holding him.

"I said...."

Beomgyu took a step back away from the pink haired male, something seamed off, and it wasn't just Yeonjun's voice.

"Yeon-"

"....I did it all," Yeonjun turned and yelled bringing Beomgyu out out of his nightmare.

He clutched his shirt panting harshly.

He couldn't exactly make out the face of Yeonjun, but he knew that was not the Yeonjun he knew, he was very certain that Yeonjun had no eyeballs.

He held his head trying to get rid of the image...but....

"I did it"

"SHIT!!!!!" Beomgyu yelled rolling off the bed and landing with a thud on the ground.

He stayed there for a moment to scared to move.

He thought he was dreaming before, but how could that Yeonjun be real....did that mean that Yeonjun was his Yeonjun?

He stayed glued to the floor for some seconds before he heard Yeonjun's voice, "are you okay."

He opened his eyes after feeling Yeonjun's hands on his face, not even noticing he had shut them in the first place.

He let out a sigh of relief after seeing Yeonjun's face all normal, no eye change, no black strokes....nothing.

Yeonjun on the other hand hadn't moved his gaze from Beomgyu's face.

He had seen the main reason why the younger male had pushed himself away from him through his eyes.

He saw the image linger a bit before disappearing from his eyes.

It was him.

"C'mon, it was just a dream," Yeonjun said as he helped Beomgyu back up on the bed and placed him in his previous position.

But the younger male refused, he preferred to stay on Yeonjun's body and the older male allowed him.

Yeonjun cradled the smaller male's head moving his fingers slowly through his hair as a way of ushering him back to sleep.

Yeonjun could feel a presence around him more expecially at the door and he kept his eyes fixed at it.

To the normal eye, nothing extraordinary could be seen there, it seemed like an ordinary door.

But to Yeonjun he could see Namjoon's dad standing right in front of it.

Yeonjun furrowed his brows, tightening his grip on Beomgyu's smaller frame.

"Don't."
