IN UNCLE LUKE'S ESTATE
"You owe me an explanation. Why did you bring me here, what's the purpose you were talking about? Sarah said, trying to hide the burning pain in her head. "You're in pain, why don't you sit down dear?" Uncle Luke said with ease. "Fine, now talk before I walk home myself." Sarah expressed aggressively as she sat down. "Why did your mood change so quickly Sarah? You were fine just a moment ago." He said. Right then Sarah gripped her head. "Isn't it obvious now Uncle? I'm in pain, let's hurry this up, okay?" She said anxiously. "Alrighty then, Sarah. Let me explain." Why are her moods changing like this so quickly? She went from being her normal anxious and apprehensive self, to being overly aggressive. I need to look into that. Anyway, I should explain before she gets back into that mood and tries to leave. But, I shall not tell her everything. Sadly, they didn't do enough. She's not ready. There will be some very important figures at this party. You will help negotiate with them. I also need you to play as a server for a plan I have set with the king of another land. You know our new government right? And how my estate is at the very edge of our nation's border?" "Yes", Sarah answered. "Well, I know you're not familiar with our neighbors, the Trarials. They have a monarchy. We are assisting the King at this party. He has a possible heir, Max. He's around your age. Maybe you'd get along." He said, starting to mutter under his breath. "That's not the point though, what exactly will I be taking part in?" Sarah asked. Uncle Luke started. "I need your help. First, you will train. Proper manners, dances, dressing, talking points, and so on. You will not embarrass me in front of potential partners. You will help me with a more.....How do I say this to a child? A more….supernatural matter. You see, you have yet to unlock a trait that you posses, that could potentially help me very much." He finished. "What do you mean? I am human. Not a ghost, ghosts are the only proven supernatural in this world. I'm definitely not one of those." Sarah said. "Your supernatural knowledge is not very developed, I see." Uncle Luke said. "Do you believe in a god? I apologize, that sounds odd. Are you religious Sarah?" He asked, still pondering if it came out correctly. "I'm not not religious, I just…..I haven't gone to church or anything like that since before, before I started going to this school." Sarah stuttered. "You mean since before the government changed you." At that moment Aunt Mallory walked into Uncle Luke's study. "Alright you godforsaken-" Luke cut her off. "Godforsaken animal, I know Mal. Give it a rest." "I- don't call me Mal! That's not for you to say. You call me Mallory, you godforsaken animal. Anyway, have you told her yet?" Mallory asked. "Partially, not everything." He said. "Sarah, how do I explain this? Your, you're not a god or anything like that. There is not one god, but many. Greek philosophy as the normals call it. Gods, half gods, half humans, and supernatural with amazing powers such as the three girls. The sisters, i'm sure you've heard the kids tales. Though you're not any of those, you have relation to them, because you're not human." Sarah's jaw dropped, as she turned to Aunt Mallory just to see her nodding in agreement with Luke. Sarah's face showed her visible confusion, and small hints of anger. Mallory started speaking. "So, let me explain. It might help you understand better. The strongest god is Zeus, well, strongest in what we would call a political way. He's like the king, or the president of the gods. Then you have the demigods. Half human, half gods. They normally stay on Earth the majority of the time, of course there are exceptions. Then there are the supernatural that are in no way godly. Like our family. Like the king your Uncle idolizes so much. Our family, well…..Not everyone in our family. You have supernatural abilities. I don't, neither does your mother. I married into this family, so I have none of their genetic traits like you do. Your mother is my only sister, she doesn't possess any-well, i lied. She doesn't possess as much power as you is what I meant. You on the other hand, you've only gotten stronger as you've grown. You possess almost all of the supernatural power in this family. Your Uncle here, he needs to explain his part." Mallory finished. Uncle Luke started explaining, "I am not human, but I am not like you. I...I can't really tell you what I am, not with Mal in here. She doesn't exactly know the whole truth, and frankly, she doesn't need to either. He looked Aunt Mallory in the eye and said calmly, "leave now", and she did! What is happening in my life right now? Sarah thought. "Anyway, I'm not a god, I'm not a human, and I'm not the devil himself. I'm Isosceles." He said. "You're what? That's not a living thing, what are you calling yourself? A triangle?" Sarah responded. "Think about the metaphor Sarah. You're a smart kid." Sarah spoke, so what? You're deceitful?" "Exactly Sarah, and do you know what you are? You're a witch." He said, with a creepy looking smirk plastered on his face.
"I'm a what?" Sarah yelled. "Did the government do that to me?" She asked loudly, superstition visible in her voice. "They did nothing important," Luke said, "nothing bad anyway. They just did what your mother asked them too." "What she asked them too?!" Sarah yelled, the feeling of betrayal overcoming her other emotions. "What do you mean? Mom wouldn't do that. I know I worked with them for a while but I can't believe that they would alter me! It's not like I have modifications!" Sarah yelled. Uncle Luke started, "That is where you're wrong Sarah. You don't have noticeable modifications. They messed with your mind. All they did was enhance your supernatural powers, at least that's what we thought. Turns out they betrayed us. They altered your mind outside of the agreement. For now though, we can't worry about that. You have a job to do." He said, with that creepy smirk making yet another appearance.

At Isi and Blake's house
"Why haven't we heard from either of them?" Isi asked. "I'm not sure." Blake replied. "Apollo said not to text or call Sarah because he already has, and he didn't want to make her any more upset than she already was with having to leave. But how can we not text her if he won't answer us." Blake said questioningly. "We can't get too upset at him right? Just the person not letting him go on his phone? He hasn't been to school in days and he won't answer his phone. We even went to see Zeke, they're best friends!" Isi exclaimed. "But Zeke was acting weird, he wasn't like himself. So what should we do? He forbade us from ever going to his house but we might have too. Especially if he's hurt, or worse. We can't leave him alone." Blake said, fear and worry shining through his voice. "So it's settled then." Isi said while grabbing her jacket off of the kitchen chair. "We're going to break his rule, we're going to find him."
