Jahin's POV
She stopped from her tracks and I felt a little hope in my heart that she will not leave but the little hope I had disappeared when she opened the door and left.
I stood up from my chair, paced around the office trying to figure out how I am going to get her to understand that I love her, and I did not have a choice but to leave...without telling her the real reason behind my departure. I do not know what to do because I do not want her to see me as the boyfriend who comes from a broken home...I do not want her pity.
I am absolutely fine now and I remain unshaken by every bad thing that comes my way. All I want is her in my life, she is the piece that completes me, and seeing her has made it clear that I simply can not do without her.
As an alpha male, it is near impossible to experience such strong feelings for a female. I have traveled the world and I have met females who are labelled as goddesses but as ordinary as Haya is...she has my heart. Her simplicity is a serial killer and her presence is felt in every room she enters. She compliments anything, she is light and I receive serenity from staring into her dark brown monolid eyes.
An idea finally came to mind, I knew exactly what she and I needed to get everything between us sorted out. I picked up the landline and dialed Morris's number. He picked up and I did not want to waste any time so I got straight to the point.
"Book a cottage near the forest hamlet of Storms River in the East Cape province for the whole weekend. Prepare the Jeep for me and kindly ask Martha to pack up my clothes. When I arrive there everything must be ready." I carefully instructed.
"Okay sir." he hung up.
I looked at the time and it was already 6 pm and the office was quiet meaning the staff had already left. I made my way out of the office and made sure the security guards locked the building. I got into my car and drove to the KRAVITZ HOTEL.
I arrived there then made my way to the front desk. I was immediately escorted to Haya and Zoe's presidential suite. I dismissed the staff member and decided to knock on the door by myself. I gently knocked, a mild anxiety attack hit me but I kept thinking about the bigger picture...which is winning back Haya's trust.
Haya opened the door, her hair was a mess and she looked like she had just been hit by lightning. I couldn't help but laugh. She closed the door on my face.
"I am sorry, you look hilariously beautiful. Please open the door for me." I tried to sound as sensible as I could.
"Go away!"
"Why are you even here!" she yelled.
"Being away from you is torture, I, I simply can not do without you," I tried to hold back but she needed to hear how I was feeling.
"I am not enjoying this either but I need to hear the truth and nothing but the truth," I could hear that she was closer to the door than before. There was suddenly friction in the air and I couldn't bear being on the other side of the door so I gently knocked again.
"Let me in, I will tell you the truth but first there is something we need to do," I said.
She opened the door, I'd win a starting competition if it was for staring at her.
"I know I look ridiculous, just get it," she said, I got in then she closed the door.
I wanted to tell her how I thought she looked but I kept quiet because I had an important question to ask her.
"Haya I want to tell you the truth but first I need to know if you are still the same accepting girl I fell in love with in high school, so I am pleading with you to come with me for the whole weekend." I gently spoke making eye contact with her.
"Come with you? come with you where! how am I supposed to know that you are still safe to be around...I saw how you beat up that lecturer today. You are not the boy I fell in love with in high school." her words pierced into my heart.
"Exactly why I want you to come with me this weekend, I want us to properly get to know each other again," I replied taking a step closer to her.
"No," she took a step back.
"Please, you will be back just in time to attend your classes," I pleaded.
"Do you not understand the words that are coming out of my mouth? I said I am not going with you anywhere!" she yelled.
If she does not agree I will have to take drastic measures to get her to go with me. Zoe suddenly walked into the room.
"Haya are you okay? what's going on?" she caressed Haya and looked up at me like I was some sort of monster.
"I'm fine, he was just leaving," she pointed out the door for me.
"I am not going anywhere without you, Zoe kindly help Haya pack her bags. She is coming with me," I instructed.
"Zoe will not do such a thing," Haya angrily replied.
"Haya are you sure you do not want to leave with Jahin, I remember how much you cried when you thought you had seen him the other day...I want to make sure as your friend you do what makes you happy. You do not have to go if you don't want to," Zoe turn to look at Haya.
Haya grabbed her hand and lead her towards their bedroom. I decided to take a seat on the couch hoping that Zoe knocks some sense into Haya.
"Why does she have to be so stubborn!" I said to myself.
Moments Later
"She is ready to go with you but you must know that if you have her cry, I am going to kill you," Zoe's voice echoed across the room and I turn to look.
Haya looked so beautiful in her comfy outfit and her hair tied properly into a bun. I immediately stood up and rushed to carry her bag for her.
"Do not worry, I will keep her safe," I said looking at Haya.
"Good," Zoe replied.
They both said their goodbyes and I quietly stood there waiting for them to finish.
"Shall we go?" I finally spoke.
"Yes," Haya replied.
We both made our way outside of the building and finally got into the car. I drove to my penthouse to fetch my stuff. I parked the car in the garage then opened the door for Haya since we are going to our destination using the Jeep. Morris brought my bag, I put it into the car then drove out of the yard.
Moments later we were on the way to our destination. I hated how quiet the drive was so I put on some music, I was listening to The Weeknd earlier so one of his songs automatically played.
Haya increased the volume and started singing the song. Looking at her ease up around me brought warmth to my heart. I enjoyed the sight of looking at her singing along to the song.
