Chen Yu Liang's body was entirely riddled by with injuries, while his shirt was tattered. Bruises lined his entire body, and he looked as though he had been really badly pummeled and battered, mercilessly beaten up without a hint of care.

Chen Yu Liang disregarded the crowd's thoughts, as he bitterly smiled inwardly, 'Light injuries? Go easy on me? The bones around my body are already on the verge of breaking!'

And he carefully made his way down from the mountain, meticulously ensuring that none of his injuries start to flair up, and making sure that his bones were still intact and sturdy.

The news of the replacement of the Leader of the Heaven's Pride Ranking quickly spread throughout the clan like a bushfire, as everyone ingrained the name 'Long Chen" in their minds, while those disciples who had personally saw the outcome of Chen Yu Liang, all swore to never provoke that devil.

In a courtyard of the Moonlight Sect, a suave youth was using his sword skills with practiced ease, his every moves fast and explosive, smooth and clear.

However, his sword missed a few targets every once in a while, and his moves were getting increasingly stiff, as he continued to strike out his swords faster and faster, his moves becoming more and more careless.

"Young Master, a new person has taken over the Outer Court's Heaven's Pride Ranking. It is a new disciple by the name of Long Chen." A man entered the courtyard as he bowed his head while informing.

"I know." The suave youth indifferently replied.

"The Supervising Elder's voice has travelled throughout the entire Sect. How could I not know?" The suave youth paused his attacks, then he fiercely pierced his sword into the ground.

"His progress is far more astonishing than I had predicted." The suave youth turned towards the bowing youth, as he coldly ordered, "Send people to tail him and find out information about him. And tell me whenever he leaves the Sect."

The man hesitated as he lifted his head and uttered, "This…isn't too appropriate."

"Who are you to question my orders? If I tell you to do, you better do it!" The suave youth lifted the sword from the ground and swiftly slashed towards the man.

The sword energy flashed past the sides of the man, barely missing the side of his ear, as he could clearly sense the overbearing energy that had flew past his head.

"Yes!" The man did not argue any longer, and left the courtyard to carry out his orders.

"Long Chen…you cannot blame me for what is coming next. After all, there cannot be two kings under the same mountain." The suave youth then left the courtyard.

After he left, two figures abruptly formed their shapes out of blank space, somehow appearing at the courtyard, as if they were hiding themselves in the darkness and chose to reveal themselves.

It was the mysterious elder, and Yun Che Liang.

"Although he is an exceptional talent, but he is far too narrow-minded and arrogant. What a disappointment." The mysterious elder murmured.

"Do we need to protect Long Chen then? His achievements these past few days are too eye-catching to not be noticed. "Yun Che Liang nodded his head in agreement, before he questioned.

"That's true. Since that is the case, then send Seven Blades to protect him in the dark." The mysterious elder replied in a low voice.

"Seven Blades?" Yun Che Liang's pupils narrowed as his eyes shone with a glint. Seven Blades was one of Moonlight Sect's secret forces, and was also one of the best within it.

"Don't you always talk about protecting him? Why not just send Seven Blades then?" The mysterious elder softly chuckled, before he disappeared from the place.

In yet another location, in a dark palace.

Baleful aura was constantly spiraling around the man who sat on the throne, as he played around and manipulated it as he pleased, with the other hand holding onto a jade cup and slowly sipping his tea.

His demeanor was sturdy and tranquil, his calm eyes not showing a single ripple, as though he had everything within his grasp.

That was until his subordinate hurriedly ran into the place, as he instantly reported, "We have found the person who possess the Mortal Tier 11 Talent. His name is Long Chen, a new disciple of the Moonlight Sect, and he has…"

The subordinate abruptly stumbled on his words, as his mind drifted to that mind-blowing news.

"And he has what?" A low voice that was brimming with authority drifted to his ears, as the subordinate forced out his next words with some difficulty.

"He has taken the Rank 1 on the Heaven's Pride Ranking."

"What?!" The man boomed out loud as he abruptly stood up in surprise, the jade cup in his hands instantly crushed into pieces, as he fully exuded his baleful aura, suppressing the air around him.

"Is this true?" The man questioned imposingly.

"Yes, this is definitely true. We have heard this from our sources." The subordinate clenched his teeth and confirmed, while trying his best to resist the man's powerful aura.

The man stood up from his chair, his eyes no longer as calm as before, as ripples started to surface within, and in his heart came a feeling of unease, and unease that he had long never felt, and had always hated.

"No wonder the old fogies at the Moonlight Sect were so indifferent. It was because they already possessed a talent greater than ours. Since the news has already been divulged, it means that they are confident that they are able to protect him" The man mumbled to himself.

"They would definitely send some experts to guard his life, and based on the rules of the cultivation world, I'm not allowed to dispatch experts far greater in cultivation to take the life of others." The man continued muttering.

"Since he is able to take the first place that means that he almost unparalleled within the Qi Refining Realm."

"You can take the Qi Refining Realm, but what about the Elementary Realm? Send some Elementary Realm people to the youth named Long Chen the moment he leaves the Sect, and you find out his location." The man turned towards his subordinate and ordered.

"I receive your order." His subordinate took a deep bow.

"I'm sure that they won't mind exchanging pointers with their number 1 genius, right? Just have then confront with each other, and take the chance to do away with his life during combat. Make sure that the one's protecting him don't get a chance to interfere." The man stared at the subordinate with his dark black eyes.

"And if they aren't able to kill him off, they no longer have a reason to continue living either." The man declared, before he returned to his seat.

"Yes." His subordinate suppressed the tremble in his voice, as he respectfully replied, before he left.
