"Right when I started trusting you..."

Jungkook's POV

"Mhmm... what time is it?" You mumbled as you were waking up and stretching your arms. It seemed like it was still morning, but it wasn't early. You could clearly smell the heavenly smell that was probably coming from the kitchen. It smelled amazing. "Breakfast?" You mumbled to yourself and got up from the bed to open the window.

The yard was as beautiful as it was yesterday, with one difference. A familiar figure was standing at the gate, possibly arguing with the guards about something. Your eyes widened as you recognised who it was. Your father was standing in front of the gate and having a quarrel with a guard. It seemed like he wasn't welcome her though. You took a deep breath and decided to go outside to 'greet' him.

You got dressed and quickly ran outside. Jin tried to yell at you because he had something to tell you but you just ignored him and ran outside. Once you got outside, you saw your father who was still arguing about something and decided to interfere.

"What's going on?" You asked the guard who was trying to keep your father from running into the castle, although he stopped resisting when he saw you. He probably had something to tell you. You didn't really want to talk to him because you were angry, no, you were furious about your brother's death that your parents caused.

"Jungkook! There you are, I was telling the guard to let me speak to you, but you appeared here all by yourself!" Your father gave you a fake smile and looked at the guard. "Could you let me pass now?" He asked politely.

"Sir, is it okay if I let him-"

"No." You said sternly and turned around to leave. "Do not ever come back here, ever." You growled and stomped away angrily.

"Jungkook!" Your father tried to yell but you ignored his yells.

"Shut up..." You mumbled to yourself and hurried back to your room through the hallways. A tear slipped away because you were so disappointed in your parents. They actually went and killed their own fucking child and weren't even guilty. What kind of people are they? Monsters!

"Jungkook-ah! There you are, what were you- why are you crying??" Jin ran to you and saw your red puffy eyes. "Did something happen?"

"It's my father..." You mumbled.

"What?! What did he do-"

"Jin hyung... he didn't do anything, he just... his appearence frustrated me..." You sobbed slowly.

"That bastar-"

"What are you two doing here?" A sudden familiar voice spoke.

It was Taehyung who looked really pissed for some reason. Did he have a bad day? He approached me and Jin hyung and gave me a mean glare before grabbing my wrist and dragging me back to the guest bedroom. Jin was pretty puzzled but let it be, because he saw how Taehyung acted yesterday.

"What the hell were you doing yesterday, snooping around the castle?" Taehyung squeezed your wrist, making it hurt.

"Wha- I was just exploring the castle... I had nothing else to do..." You answered honestly, still a bit confused why Taehyung was so angry.

"I know you are lying. You know I can kill you right here and now if I wanted to, right?" Taehyung threatened you.

"W- what are you talking about...?" A tear slipped from your eye.

"DON'T LIE TO ME, JUNGKOOK!" Taehyung yelled at you, making you scared.

"S- stop... yelling..." You whimpered in his grasp. "I didn't do anything wrong..." You were honestly very confured about everything. Taehyung was acting really weird and you had no idea why. Why was he acting like this?

Author's POV

"Jungkook..." He grabbed Jungkook's arm and pressed really hard, making Jungkook whine under his grip again. It hurt like hell. "Stop. Lying."

"Tae...hyung- you're going to break my- agh- my arm-" Jungkook cried.

"Then let me break it." Taehyung's voice got lower and lower. It was scary to Jungkook. It reminded him of his own father who used to hurt him and break is body like it was made of glass.

"I-I've been through wo- worse- agh... go ahead and b- break me then..." Jungkook stopped resisting and looked at Taehyung, straight in the eyes.

"Alright..." He mumbled and he actually did it. He actually broke Jungkook's arm and didn't even flinch. The only thing that startled him a little, were Jungkook's little sobs as he held his arm with his other hand and fell on the ground. "That's what you get for lying to me."

"...ah..." Jungkook whined and held his arm tighter, crying on the floor. "Go away... go away Ta- Taehyung..." He mumbled and stood up slowly.

"Sure, as you wish." Taehyung blankly stared at Jungkook for a moment and left the younger alone.

"...ugh..." Jungkook stuttered as he threw himsel fon the bed. His arm was now broken by Taehyung and he had no idea why he acted like that. It was like he was a completely different person. Where did that kind and caring Taehyung go? He was so kind yesterday...

Suddenly, hunger devoured the younger who hadn't eaten for days. He forgot to eat yesterday and he didn't have an appetite now either. He hadn't eaten that much at home either. No wonder we was losing weight so rapidly. He didn't care though, he hadn't cared about his body for ages. Even though he has a naturally skinny body and he doesn't gain weight that often. It was still 2 PM and he had nothing to do. He thought about sleeping for the day, but that would be a bad idea.

Jungkook got an idea. He could go to that forest again. It was peaceful. So, he got up from the bed, hissed a little because his arm was hurting, took a pain killer and exited the palace. Once he got to the lake, he sat on the same rock he sat on yesterday and looked at the beautiful lake again. It was still beautiful like yesterday. He remembered how Taehyung held him close and caressed the small of his back in small circles to comfort him.

It was honestly shoking to see Taehyung act like that again. He didn't know he could be this... diverse... It's like he was bipolar or something. Jungkook shoke his head, as he didn't want to think about those things right now. he just wanted to relax right now ans take a deep breath.

The forest was really pretty too. It had all kinds of flowers spread around and the trees were enormous. You could build a tunnel in one of the trees. There were some animals too. Birds were chirping in the trees and deers were running past the otherside of the lake. The forest was like from a fairy tale. It didn't seem real. Well, none of this seemed real, really. Jungkook still didn't believe that he was one of the oh so powerful kings and he was actually selected by Taehyung himself. It was unreal to be honest.

A small sound disturbed Jungkook's thoughts and he turned his head to the source of the voice to see what caused it. It was nothing. But still, Jungkook was suspicious and wary of his surroundings now. He didn't know who could be following him or stalking him, considering that he had a big amount of 'fans' when he was still working as a prostitute to support his family needs. Well, it's more like his parents forced him to do it.

This time something really shited in the distance, which made Jungkook a little scared. He didn't want to be killed by a stalker or get raped by a middle-aged man in the middle of the forest where nobody would see, hear or help him. He was all alone, was alone. Now he was positive there was someone watching him.

"Who are you??" Jungkook yelled. "I can hear you!"

"So you heard me..." A scarily familiar voice echoed in the forest as the very familiar figure showed himself in front of Jungkook, making him shiver to his core.

"Father?!"
