Purge.

As richard and jason ran the screams of the dieing crowd rang in their ears. "we need to get home, dads gun safe is our only chance." said richard in a frightened tone.

Jason said nothing as he reviewed what had just happened in his mind with fear in his heart. "dude did you hear me, we need to get home!" shaking jason trying to snap him out of his daze "fine " jason said in a low voice.

Richard was peering out the window as he saw more creatures pouring out of the hole each more frighting than the last. All of the sudden the earth began to quake ,at least a magnitude 7 was rocking the whole area the buildings already damaged started to completely collapse.

The building the two brothers were in was surprisingly untouched by the chaos.they were the only ones to make the choice to get inside the rest ran for their cars and were swiftly slaughtered.

Before the rumbling completely subsided a huge worm came from the hole that now completely covered the foot ball field and surrounding area. the worm was so large it seemed to be squeezing itself out of the hole.

"what in the f**k is that thing!?" jason screamed. as richard covered his mouth the few beasts close to them outside turned to look at them, black cracks across their body's. Richard and Jason's faces grew pale as their hearts began thumping in their ears, instantly Richard grabbed Jason's arm and ran twords the rear exit leading to the wood at full speed.

Shouldering the door open cracking the cement behind the door. they ran into the woods and took the river twords their house. luckily they didn't see the creatures that had spotted them. all of the sudden a monstrous voice boomed through the air so loud it could be heard all over the globe.

"YOU WANT TO DESTROY YOU WANT TO WASTE? YOU DID NOT WANT TO DIE FROM WEATHER OR STOP REPRODUCING? NOW I WILL USE AN ALTERNATE METHOD. SUFFER NOW MORTALS!"

Richard and jason both fell to their knees and covered their ears the voice was so loud.

After picking themselves off the ground and wiping the blood from their ears ,Richard and Jason kept running and replaying the voice in their minds, It sent chills down there spines. "keep going we need to get home!" Richard barked dragging Jason into another sprint. when they reached there home it was already pitch black and no light could be seen. the crickets were very loud as the approached where there house use to be. "where is it" Jason asked with despair stumbling twords the hole where there house use to stand eventually falling to his knees.

Richard pulled him back and said "stop we don't know what's over there" as they turned to head to the closest house Richard tripped over a small grey box in a dirt nest that was not there when he left for school that morning.
