Savior

Outside in the tree Richard was very nervous all he could do was worry as he watched the pair taking cover behind abandoned vehicles. As he watched the pair enter he became extremely focused and started to recall all of his fathers lessons on sniping.

"Exhale to steady the rifle boy or you will keep moving keep you outside eye ope but focus on the sniper eye. There you go now let the shot surprise you. perfect! Your a natural son."

As he saw Jason come outside and start looking through the windows he couldn't see he got worried Sh*t dude i cant see over there i told you left. Fu**ing left! He stopped looking through the the scope an noticed another tree that he could use to see inside he jumped all the way to the ground and hit hard but ignored the pain and ran to the other tree.

He was never good at climbing trees but today he was a monkey slinging the rifle onto his back he jumped and grabbed a branch with both hands. his blood pumping hard adrenaline surging his inner gymnast started to show swinging his whole body on top of the branch and landing feet first with no fear jumping hard to the next with the spring of the branch flying to the next one after another finally reach the top in under seven seconds. All with a wounded left arm.

After getting his balance and aiming he only took ten seconds to become a cover sniper again. But unfortunately his heart was beating out of his chest and the rifle was bobbing like a buoy in rough seas. After another two seconds he could see what was going on and after five his vision was clear.

He watched as mr stein grabbed the walkie talkie set off the shelf but couldn't make out what it was. His heart dropped as he saw him jump back and hit the shelf behind him. As he saw the shelf fall on him hard he knew he would have to help him from under it and prepared to jump down but hesitated because he didn't know why he had jumped back. Then he saw the red animal walking slowly twords him on the ground and saw jason look back to where he was in the other tree jason ran to the door and entered again. he was running to get the shelf of him and try to hit the creature

The rat jumped at mr stien and his death was eminent. Exhale use both eyes but focus on one let the shot surprise you. the sound of the rifle ran out. the bullet flew past a car through another car window through the hardware store window between Jason's legs and into the rats eye killing it instantly.

From an outside perspective of someone unknown to richard he would be considered an elite military sniper. With a sigh of relief he jumped.out of the tree.
