Hunted

As richard peaked around the corner he could see carroll on top of mr stiens dead body and she didn't look like she was giving him a kiss mr stiens body would slowly move around as she tore flesh from his throat but it seemed he had been dead for at least an hour. because the part of he throat she was working on was down to the bone all that connected his head and body was a meaty spine.

She started to eat lower on neck twords the collar bone area and sounded even worse then before do to how much more she could bite.

Richard looked back with tears in his eyes at jason and motioned for him to turn around there was nothing they could do and nothing left for them here unless the wanted to kill her but neither of them thought they had the strength to go through that they had been like brothers to her and mr stien was another father to them but it was all ruined now and there was no way they were staying in this house a second longer

The took a couple steps and as the reached their weapons and gear which was alway pack in case they had to leave suddenly. Mr stein had taught them that as part of a combat readiness mind set he had be teaching the for the last year and a half.

As they stepped closer to the door creaking sound Was Heard under Jason's foot it was allowed they knew Carol had heard it. but before they could make it out the front door thank you dear scuttle small feet slapping the ground fast.

They knew what was coming ,they turned around to see Carol staring directly at them blood covering the front of her body almost all the way to our toes ,the bottom part of her jaw seem to be split into as she opened her mouth they could hear flesh tearing as a whole row of teeth the human body was not supposed to have, had begin to show almost like the jaws of a wood grinder except the teeth seem to go down her throat.

She gave out a hideous scream, and with bloodshot eyes she charged. As Richard was about to hit her he thought about all the time he had spent with her, teaching her; how to string a bow how, to aim a gun, how to start a fire.

All he could do was freeze Jason luckily had his wits about him and kicked her in the side shooting her down the hallway and as she tumbled down the hallway they both jumped through the screen door and ran as fast as they could towards the tree line.

Carol eventually came out of the screen door behind them and gave out another scream for this one was different it was almost like mating call for a bird or call to war for a lion extant shivers down the spine on the last and after she made that scream they could hear Roars and growls all around them as if enemies were coming in from all directions.
