"So what did you have in mind " Richard asked. Jason was not happy with his treatment by the woman so far so he sat quiet with an upset face.

"Well first i think we should go retrieve all the supplies off of that beast we slayed at the bottom of the tree. Most of the smaller animals will stay away because the know higher level ones will be in route to eat it."

"We killed....?" jason thought "one. arrow is hardly helping" Jason could not find a way to like this girl she was just so arrogant "yeah so how do we divide our kill" hissed as he put air quotes over our but only use one hand cause of his injury.

"You need to hands to do air quotes gimp" the woman said flatly richard choked on his spit as he suppressed his laughter and ended up coughing a little "And i guess you two might need it more since your going to be my meat shields to kill more creatures" After staring at Richard with a look that could kill he said and why would we help you do that?"

"Because the more we kill the fewer monster there are and the safer we will be." Jason had trouble arguing with her logic even if she was blistered butthole.

"Yeah that makes sense but if we agree you have to help us with a kill when we are done." Jason barked at her and she didn't think much of it a decide to agree. "I've been meaning to ask what are those matching watches they look cool but smart watches are kinda useless now."

Richard decided to take over and fill the woman in on everything they had discovered and also about what happen to the stein family.

"So is that the kill we are talking about the little girl carrol?" Jason looked at the ground in sever depression "yeah" Richard said nothing.

It wasn't that Richard didn't care about carrol or what happened to her he had just steeled his resolve in doing what needed to be done to free her from her suffering.
