Chapter 8

Maeve kicked him off and ran away as fast as she could, away from the cave.

He chased after her and caught up pretty fast and grabbed her by her tail, "everyone knows foxes are slower then wolves~"

Maeve released She was bleeding at that second, -that's why his mood changed so quick- she thought. She side kicked him in the face and he fell back with the same stupid grin on his face, she ran and ran then knew what she had to do, so she dove into the nearest bush and then she used the charm again to turn herself into an arctic fox and snuck out acting normal. The wolf stopped and glared at her "aren't you suppose to be in the west area?" Maeve didn't know what he meant so she shrugged and said "was taking a break ill go do that geez". As she walked away she could feel Wolf's eyes stay on her until she was fully out of his eyesight, then she quickly turned into a red fox again and ran for her life. She finally reached the gave, while startling Alice, and turned back right in front of her. "It's just me calm down" she laughed and Alice blushed and pouted, "anyway how did you sleep Maeve?" Maeve shrugged and said "all I remember is some dreams"

And then Maeve asked the same question back at Alice but Alice seemed worried.

"I had a nightmare..a-about you"

Maeve tilted her head let Alice finish,

"You were chasing me and when you caught up you said that you hated me and that you should have left me in that ditch and you should have never helped me find a family."

Maeve saw son tears fall and she hugged her right, "id never even think about saying that, nor dream it, and especially never say it."

Alice smiled and hugged her back, "by the way Alice I just saw my first wolf.
