Rosey's POV
We both walked out but by Brad's actions i could feel that hes thinking of what i was thinking about. 'Brad-"
He cut me " i also have the same question Rose is mum ok i mean whats with all the memory talk and all j just feel something is not right and we honestly need to help her " he said as he started driving the car down the road . I looked into the mirror and saw our mom wave and smile before our maid came and walked her back into the house. Brad dropped me of at school and went to work. I walked down the school corridor and Amanda walked up to me "hey gal ive calling you where are you lost at?" She asked "nothing Ams im just - its nothing did you complete your science project " i asked trying to change the topic " yah i did gosh it took me all night to finalize all the chemical reactions and put the model all together the chlorine-" she went on and i did not even hear what she was saying
mom are you ok ,whats wrong with her at least she can talk to either of us but come on Rose she either talks to Brad about sensitive stuff you cant handle or tells you but Brad is clueless or is he pretending not to make you worry aghh Rosey think think think. "Roselynn Brenda Evans honestly what in the world is wrong with you, ive been talking to myself and you where somewhere else whats bothering you Rose talk to me. " Amanda Wilson she is the best friend ever shes caring and all the other goodies in one package but can be annoying at times and from the look on her face i can tell shes super worried " its something i dont understand Ams my mom started a memory talk before i came to school this morning which she never does im wondering whats wrong Ams" i said it all out " gal you could have said it earlier you got class you'll be late and dont worry we'll figure it out " she smiled at me and winked before running to class thats when i realized the corridor was now empty only me left . I ran to class well Ams is a science student and in a commercial student shes a science freak which i hate but shes good at it. I head for my business studies lesson.
The day went by quickly and it was already after lunch i barely ate a thing worry is eating me up after all.Ams and i we had the same class after lunch Chinese so we sat next to each other a few minutes after the lesson had began our school head walked in had a little chat with our teacher and said "Roselynn -" he paused for a moment like he was deciding on something shook his head and called Amanda instead "Gal you write the notes for me I'll catch up after class" she whispered getting up she walked out and i tried to concetrate on the lesson. Well Amanda out of school she lived a ghetto life thugs,guns and all not because she wanted to but thats how her family made a living and she hated it sometimes she would be caught up in it and get into trouble at school so i just thought thats the case.
Amanda did not return to class for yhe rest of the day so i waited for her near the soccer pitch. "Hey gal!" She seemed to struggle acting normal " umm so home yah I'll see yah tomorrow" she said and started walking away no hug,no story of what had happened she did not even take her bag . "Ams your bag , my hug ,what happened and its not time to go home yet " i said
"Ohhh " she said walking back to me she gave me that you got me look and said " gal you know its been hard for me to keep all this time i just cant keep it in anymore whatever happens im always here for you gal its not the end of the world Brad is thsre for you so am i talk to me anytime gal." She rooled out i just looked at her confused " Ams relax talk to me whats wrong what did the head say when she called you"
She looke at me tears welling up in her eyes and said " Rosey she said your mum just fainted and your maid took her to the hospital but i think it was late when they got there she was already gone" i looked at her digesting what she had said. My mom gone what the hell is she talking about " what are you saying Amanda" i tried to control myself " im sorry Roselynn but your mom is nomore she died late this morning when you came to school." That explains the memory talk she knew she was going to leave me but why mom.
I could not cry i i just looked at her and started walking out of the school compound heading home.
