Remember me

Lena's POV.

"Stay safe. I'll find you. I promise." Samuel whispered as he hugged me tight.

My dearest brother and I were being separated. I was only 6.

"Don't go Samuel. I luwe you." I cried into his chest.

"I love you too sis. Be strong. I'll find you soon." he whispered. They dragged me from him and I cried as I clawed at everything in my way. I wanted my brother. I needed him. I slapped the big man with my baby hands. He flushed and he held me tighter causing me to hiss in pain. I cried louder, my brother tried to reach out to me but the woman held him back.

"SAMUEL!!" I shouted.

"ROSE!!!" he shouted back. Being through so much my body gave out...

I immediately sat up as the screams from my past druming in my ears. The pain in my heart was enough to tell me that I still ached to see my brother. I didn't know what he looked like, couldn't remember completely what he was like and it hurt me to say that I couldn't fully recover my lost memories from my past incident.

I felt a sting as I looked up to see machines around me and the drip needle in me. I hated needles. I hurriedly pulled it out and hissed at the pain. I noticed that my clothes were changed into a long flowing gown. Maybe Jess changed my clothes?...it couldn't be possible. I rolled my eyes and continued to the bathroom.

After a 30 min shower and dressing, I was ready. Walking down stairs, I hummed silent night to myself. I entered the kitchen and stopped dead in my tracks. I stared at the group in front of me. The girls and a guy I didn't seem to recall.

"Missed us Lele." the girl had brown hair and seemed too excited. Next to her sat a girl with jet black hair and light blue eyes and next to her sat a blond with piercing green. I looked at them confused, they looked familiar though.

I was about to ask a question when I heard footsteps coming towards the kitchen. A young man with green eyes and dark brown hair entered with my cousin. I looked at her stomach and noticed she was pregnant.

I squealed in delight and hugged her.

"Your pregnant congratulations!!!" I squealed.

She looked at me confused than looked at the guy yet he was in shock. He stepped forward and I cocked my head to the side.

"You look like my older brother Samuel. He had green eyes like my dad but you have the same hair color as my mom. Are you Samuel?" I whispered as hope coursed through me. He was pale and he stepped back, turning to leave at the door.

"What time is my dad going to pick me up?" I asked.

I turned to see everyone gaping at me. Did I do something wrong?

Jess stepped forward and looked me in the eyes.

"You don't remember Abi, Kelly, Michael and Lucy? She asked softly.

"Who are they?" I asked.

Jessica turned and grabbed a phone, she dialled a number and spoke hurriedly. "We need your help. She's wiped...meaning she's got amnesia stupid!" she yelled As she smashed the phone on the ground. She huffed and ran up the stairs. What got into her? I nodded my head to the people still gaping at me and went to the fridge. After making breakfast I sat on the couch. The door opened after a few moments and Jess, her guy plus a tall guy stepped in. When did they leave the house? He looked at me and I looked at him. He filled my stomach with butterflies and I felt myself blush. I shifted myself on the couch trying to make myself cool down. I just met this guy.

"Lena," he said softly. "Do you know me?" I shook my head wildly. "My name is Adam. Ring a bell?" he asked as he walked closer to me. "Nope" I chirped.

He stared at me and cocked his head to the side. I did the same and smirked. He went to Jess and Sam and motioned for the kitchen. A kid came downstairs and looked at me. He smiled and hugged me.

"I'm so glad your okay!" he shouted.

"uh, what do you mean?" I asked while confused. He was about to answer when a bell rang and Jess came back to the living room. "Jacob transports here," she said as she walked him to the car. When he left she came back and went straight to the kitchen.

I stood and found the group talking furiously.

"-er chance to start over again." Michael, I'm guessing said. "It's risky," Abi said. "What are you guys talking about?" I asked softly.

They all turned to me, clear hesitation on their faces, before anyone could answer shots were fired into the house, literally. A scream escaped my lips as everyone quickly ducked down. Before I could even process even half of what was going on, everyone had weapons. I didn’t know whether I should be slightly relieved that we could defend ourselves or even more terrified that we had access to such. Wait not me, them!

"Why do you have weapons? How did y'all get them so fast? What the hell is going on!?" I shrieked as I laid down.

Despite everyone seemingly being able to defend themselves, it was clear no one expected this war. The shots just kept getting worse and I didn’t know what was worse. I had slight wounds on me already and I couldn’t recall from where but the glass that was on the ground was nipping at my skin. An explosion rang out and the stranger immediately covered me. He kept on cursing.

"Stop swearing it's bad!!!" I shouted.

He gaped at me then laughed, for some reason, it was the most beautiful thing I've heard but he stopped after more shots were fired. Then everything went quiet I counted to ten and opened my eyes.

A guy stood before me with jet black hair yet the gun disguised his attractiveness. Which, by the way, he had pointed to me.

"Lena Stand," he commanded and I immediately stood. Slightly shrugging the glass off me. I heard the guy curse behind me and try to move but the guys around us with guns made him stop.

"Tie them." the guy commanded his army. Everyone immediately shifted tying everyone. They separated Jess and when I tried to move towards her the guy gripped my shoulders.

"I won't hurt her, I'll just tie her separately because she's pregnant," he murmured."So the fucktard has a heart. Who knew!" Jess snarled. "Fuck off! I can change my mind." he snapped.

"Justine she doesn't remember anything okay. She lost her memory, please let her go. Let her start over. We can both look away. Pretend she's dead or something." the guy who protected me said. He was trying to break free with the others.

Oh yes, I remembered his name.

Adam.

His name was Adam.

The guy turned me to face me. He began to search for me and wasn't satisfied when he found nothing.

"My dad said the opposite sex shouldn't touch me like that," I whispered.

The guy looked at me surprised.

"You'll remember me soon," he said. Grapping my arm and dragging me out of the house.
