Meet Lena Rose Davis. 

She's had to protect herself since she ran away from her step father. Having lost contact and bit of memory of the last member of her real family when she was 6. She gets a taste of normality when kindness knocks on her door but what happens when the past comes knocking. Ghosts begging her to answer for what shes done. When both sides linked seem to divide just for her attention. Her affection. Her choice.

With no where else to run and hide, she must decide or she will lose more of those that care about her.

I was going mad and so was the team. It’s been a few weeks since Justine had taken Lena and that had caused issues on each person differently. Jesse was admitted into the hospital three times already cause of her stress levels. They kept her there now and Sam had become more quiet than usual. 


Their son was picked up and dropped off by him. He didn't trust anybody. The team couldn't figure out where Justine took Lena. I even searched the ones I knew but my damn father made sure I or mom didn't know. My siblings were out of reach. 


I waited by the cafe for Sam to show up so we could figure out something else. When he walked in, he brought his son and Jessica in a wheelchair. Once they were comfortable, Jacob hurriedly left to go play. 


"Please tell me you got something." Sam croaked. 


"Nothing. I'm going to have to call reinforcements. That's the only way." I said. "You do whatever you can to get her back," Jessica demanded. "I have a guy but the thing is Lena killed his brother so he might backstab us," I said. 


That caused silence to enter the room, the risk was too high. Calling that reinforcement meant trouble. He could potentially kill all of us but would we be willing to risk it? We kept quiet. "Do it. We'll sort out the mess when the time comes." Sam said. He stood up and called for Jacob. 


Once they left I pulled out my phone. It rang for a long while. 


"Adam I wonder what is it that's got you deep. 


"You want me to help you find that bitch that killed my brother. Now, why the fuck would I do that?" 


"I'll erase all the bad records you have. And we both know it could go a long way." 


"There's no thinking about it. I'll see you and your reinforcements on Wayne avenue tomorrow at 8pm if you in." 


I truly needed to find her, I would deal with Mayson later on. I had to, in fact, needed, to hope that he wouldn’t kill Lena as soon as his eyes met hers. Mayson became ruthless as soon as his brother was murdered. James was sent to figure her out, assigned to become close to her but he must have made a wrong move. 


The next thing we hear is that he was murdered brutally. Forcing his younger brother to become the next leader of their father's clan. The entire family, devastated. It took everyone a while to figure out with evidence that Lena did it. they’ve been haunting her ever since, luckily everyone was a bit cautious about getting to her due to her being wanted by us. 


My phone vibrated and I instantly knew.
