First day at school

I stood in the bathroom gazing at my reflection. It was not the full cup of my naked breast nor the hollow bellybutton that captured my attention; rather, it was the collateral damage I had done to my hair in the name of disguise. Below, were hair strands splattered on the faded-white sink. While the evil scissors and towel was on the other side.

"No one will recognize you." I muttered to myself. I trailed my fingers on the short hair and through the fringes, tilting my head either ways for a better view. Somehow, I felt more stupid than I look.

7.40 A.M, I heard the sound of the halting truck, quickly, I peeped through the window and saw that it was Addison. Although hesitant at first, I advanced to the truck with my hands firmly clasped on my school bag.

"Hey." I greeted. At the same time struggling to fit the extra large bag under the dashboard.

"What the hell!" His face twitched at the sight of me. "What happened to you?" He asked, staring bizarrely at me.
