Déjà vu

The bartender's knowledge intrigued him. That day, after one of the hours-long business meetings, tired and strained he took a ride downtown for a breath of fresh air. He wasn't very familiar with the town, neither did he notice that he was probably the only one wearing a Rolex.

The wristwatch was a gift from his father, it first belonged to his grandfather who handed it to his father and now it was his. This was special to him, not because of it's worth, but how it was gifted 20 years ago and the person it reminded him of.

He had ordered for a strong wine to get him off the many worries, however, how he got carried away staring at her face, was no surprise.

The bartender had said all in the most succinct form, but Addison was too stubborn to let go. He turned to the man again with his fingers around the glass, "I am no fool." He grunted.
