“Look who's here.” Julie’s mocking voice welcomed me from her desk. And I frowned, it’s not like anything from Julie was pleasant. I had no time for her gimmicks.

“The principal is expecting me.” I said in a flat tone. I didn’t need her permission, I was just being civil. I inched closer to the principal’s door when she added,

“You pulled a fine stunt yesterday, not only were you a dancer, you were a fighter. Haha.” Her laughter infuriated me.

So Julie saw me, whoo! This knowledge brought a sense of victory to me. But her laughter, hmm... was as annoying as the cheerleaders, still I chose to be in control. I rolled my eyes at her before entering the principal office.

Mrs Estefania was stepping out when we met eye to eye. Surprisingly, she recognized me.

“You. I've seen you before.”

“Maybe.” I feigned ignorance, leaving her with the sole duty of recalling our first meeting.
