•Child Prodigy? I think not. •

The byakugan is a cheat dojutsu, it's an all-in-one-no-side-effects dojutsu that many underestimate in favour of the oh-so-powerful rinnegan or sharingan. Trust me, I learnt from my experience and anyone who's watched Naruto SD: Rock Lee no Seishun would know.

I have finally unlocked the byakugan. And do you know what that takes? Nothing. It took absolutely nothing.

Thing was, I was not supposed to consciously try to unlock the byakugan, it was more of a subconscious thing because of the dormant small dose of the Ōtsutsuki lineage running through my vein.

It was similar to not actively making your heart beat, or breathe or even blink; that was the main factor to control chakra that I ca conclude after months of living in the Narutoverse.

All it needed for me to realise that, was time and observation; to observe each shinobi flying through the roof, it needed dedication. Dedication I had because technology's not as advanced as it was in my old world and thus, my attention span was solely on experimenting with the magical wonders of this universe a.k.a chakra.

Now it made me wonder if it was solely because of Kaguya that humans were able to wield or manipulate chakra. According to most fanfictions, chakra is present in all living things and also in the atmosphere; nature chakra.

Summonings can use chakra even before Kaguya and Isshiki came crashing down trying to destroy the world.

Well, that thought can be stored inside plot holes of Mashima and a goal I will discover.

How I activated my byakugan was a laughable matter I'd probably retell again and again like a senile elderly; I was grounded(isolated) for destroying one of the elder's bonsai trees after a misfire.

It wasn't my fault the rock knocked over the pot, but the elder was furious at his prized bonsai falling. So I was punished and sent to reflect on mistake.

Call me petty or whatnot, but I thirst for revenge. Who in their right mind would lock up a 4 going 5 year old kid in a room because she destroyed your expensive bonsai tree.

It wasn't even a beautiful bonsai.

As if a string of rationality snapped inside my head, I could suddenly see things beyond the walls of the room. Everything around me was within my line of vision despite me not turning my head to view.

It was nauseating, at first.

I wasn't used to a 360° vision, but after a while of squealing and retching, I got the hang of it. The byakugan felt like squinting your eyes really hard or flexing them but beyong what natural human capabilities could do (kudos to the alien blood).

"Are you listening young Miko?" The annoying nagging voice of an elderly from the Hyūga council (I'm surprised they had those) broke my inner monologue.

Looking up with dead eyes— if the white pupiless eyes could look anymore dead— I replied with a nonchalant hum.

He sighed, making the visible wrinkles decorating his voice even more prominent.

"For unlocking the Kekkei Genkai of the Hyūga Clan, we will allow you to attend the Academy. However, you shall continue to serve the head family." He repeated.

How long has it been since I was stuck in the sēiza position? An hour or two.

And he was not done with the speeches.

F*ck.
