All of the fanfictions and isekai anime (plus mangas) lied to me. An isekai is boring, absolutely dreadful because nothing interesting follows after the isekai.
The plot or beginning of the Naruto series doesn't start until I am 12 so it will take years before anything interesting (that is not very bloody) happens. Heck, I'm not even in school yet.
"Miko, stop spacing out!" Onee-san reprimanded, the special anime angry red mark on her temple.
"What is it Nee-chan? It's just some stupid servant things. I don't wanna! No! Don't wanna!" I shouted, rolling my body around as I threw a tantrum. With the special effects of this world, my tears were legitimately similar to a fountain pool, I really have to give the anime exaggeration effects a pat in the back.
"Like. I. Said. This is a tradition of our clan!" She shouted back, but I was already rolling away to the front yard because the opportunity was there when she closed her eyes to calm down.
What can I say? I see an opportunity, I strike.
Now that I was out of the 'tradition this', 'tradition that', and meh meh meh hellhole that served as a home as well, I decided to try my luck in finding anyone that happens to have too much free time to befriend —disturb— because the plot hasn't started yet.
This time, I made sure to have my own markings; an unoriginal symbol I stole from a western TV show.
Using a sharp rock, I carves the symbol on a wall everytime I took a turn (surprisingly, Konoha has horrible paint jobs, you'd expect this 'best' village to have good building materials, namely paint).
When I took another turn, the God of misfortune decided to smile at me as I bumped into somebody's leg. That description shows you how short I currently stand. It was only at the knees (or below).
Grumbling as I stood up to dust my dirty buttocks, I shot the person a small glare before running off so that the person would not be able to lecture me or glare back. I pick my battles wisely.
Again, I wandered off the scope of my previous searches to find some unshown part of the village. It was really fascinating, this world.
There were so much more to it than what was shown in the anime and manga. A whole world out there, with all these people living as though they never had to question their existence.
I wonder, if I tell anyone about this world being a creation of a human in another world. Would they believe me?
Maybe not now in the present. But after the war with Kaguya and the other Ōtsutsukis, I think they might internally agree to it.
