Saphira stretched out as she inhaled the sea breeze.
They have departed from the port and is on their way to Cetus Kingdom.
It has been a day since they depart and they are now getting clsoe to its location.
Cetus Kingdom is the one closest to their land.
Reginald had tasked them to leave the land where the Empire is to them and that they should start going off the ocean to check the condition of the rest of the Empires and Kingdoms.
Saphira chose this not only because this was the closest in terms of travelling in the sea but it is also the closest to where that island was.
The island where their greatest trauma lies.
She didn't tell anyone but she was planning on going there after they are done checking Cetus Kingdom.
Though she might go there alone without telling them because she knew if they are to join her, every single pain might suddenly return.
She didn't want to put them to such so she had decided that she will go alone.
They can stay at Cetus Kingdom or they can go to the next one and she will just meet them there.
Because on that particular island, she has something she needs to check.
Something that had been on her mind for all the years after they left that place.
The wind blew just as she was in these thoughts.
It felt so peaceful and she felt sleepy somehow.
Just as she had decided to take a rest.
'Hey lazy kid, something is wrong up ahead,' Vermilion spoke to her.
'Are you sure it is fine for you to talk to me? They might feel you you know,' she replied but still stood up.
The ship they're in actually only has them, because Cetus Kingdom rarely accepts visitors.
That is how closed off they were.
It all begun because of the rare flower in their kingdom.
It was a blue flower with the color gradiation of the ocean. It was so beautiful and has a lot of medicinal uses.
Some people became greedy and caused wars after wars.
The Kingdom was almost destroyed and the flowers were almost extinct.
From then it had been closed off to the world with high earth mountains protecting it from the rest of those that wanted it for themselves.
Knowing that if the kingdom would be able to restore the flowers it would still take years, Qillian Empire made a proposal.
Because even they are using the medicinal capability of that flower.
And so a pact was made, Cetus Kingdom will be under Qillian Empire's protection and in turn once the flowers bloom again, Cetus Kingdom will have business transaction with Qillian Empire.
With that, Cetus Kingdom was able to get back up its feet and Qillian Empire had a watch tower close to it where knights were dispatched.
Every six months different groups were placed there to watch over.
Cetus Kingdom thought that Qillain Empire would conquer them but they were wrong.
Qillian Empire was really just interested in having some business transaction with them.
And because of that they started prospering as well.
But now because they suddenly lost contact to Cetus Kingdom and to the knights dispatched there, Reginald tasked them to check on it.
Everything was so busy that Reginald couldn't really send more people since the demonic beasts are increasing.
He had sent three other groups to check on it but they never heard from them at all.
He wanted to send more but the demonic beasts within the Empire had increased he couldn't really do so.
And then everything just kept piling up that Cetus Kingdom lost contact completely.
'As long as I don't allow my aura to move from your body, then no one will know I am here,' Vermilion Bird harrumphed making Saphira laugh inside.
But just as Vermilion Bird felt, it seems that Cetus Kingdom was indeed in a grave predicament.
One may think that the still ocean made it seem like it was peaceful but in reality, it was too still.
Even the birds a while ago was long gone.
Soon, the other six appeared as well.
The ship they're in was being controlled by Nixon, and being the one in control he was the first who appeared.
"Something is wrong," he spoke.
"Indeed," she replied looking down at the still ocean.
They were in full alert as they knew they are getting close to the high mountain earths of Cetus Kingdom.
Saphira closed her eyes when she heard Stormie's words.
"The clouds are too dark."
When she opened her eyes, right there in front of them was a place filled with dark clouds.
"Nixon move faster," she commanded.
With that their peaceful time is finally over.
Just as they got close they saw that there is no more high mountain earth, it was completely destroyed.
They moved even closer towards the main land of Cetus Kingdom and as they were close to the shore, the ship suddenly jerked to the side.
All seven of them jumped up and Stormie supported them with her wind.
The ship was attacked by countless of water demonic beasts.
They were close enough that they got to the shore to see the ship sank from the relentless attacks.
With that it was obvious, if the knights sent didn't die from the sudden attack, they must be stuck in this kingdom.
"This... will be a lot of work," Saphira commented.
They turned to the land and found that the port was nothing but ruins.
The buildings were completely destroyed and the soil and plants were completely infested with darkness.
Pulling out there swords, they started getting to work while they are still in there.
They can check the condition of the land later on.
For now, they can eradicate these demonic beasts right in front of them.
Saphira looked at the rest and furrowed her brows before shaking her head with a laugh.
They were still training.
She couldn't help but be at ease that they never tried to slack off their training.
"You seem happy, despite the situation," Hunter commented when they ended up getting close to one another.
"I'm happy that this is our group, that's all."
