CHAPTER 106: Let's Look For Saphira

Drake looked at him.

"I know if you are the one who speak with him and accept things, he will lead us to where Saphira is," Ridge continued.

It was rare for Ridge to be the one speaking his mind.

"I can tell he knows where she is but because he is the crown prince he knew he couldn't be as selfish as her. But if the whole order were to go, then surely he has an excuse to go to her."

"..."

Ridge sighed, "You know, I don't know whether I should get mad at you or not. You have been running on your emotion all this time. But aren't you losing sight of what is more important?"

Ridge nudged up his glasses and his clear purple eyes were staring straight at his silver ones.

"You know what is more important than your hatred right?"

Ridge's tone made it so that Drake couldn't actually make any more excuses.

He sighed because he himself knew what he needs to do as of this moment.

He had been thinking and observing.

That's when he had decided that, he was wrong all along.

No, he already knew this back then but he stubbornly held on to his hatred.

"I know," he finally said.

Ridge nodded his head before walking over to where Stormie and Nixon were resting.

Drake walked towards Hunter, who was standing on the side training his sword.

"Hunter," Drake called but Hunter didn't bother with him.

"Let's look for Saphira," he continued.

"Once we regroup and restarted our mission, I will devote myself to the mission and to follow the orders of the commander. I will not think about my emotions as long as the mission is not yet over."

Hunter continued swinging his sword while Drake continued standing near him.

"Please, your highness. I know I was being stupid and all. I have reflected on everything that I have done. I beg to let us regroup and do our mission properly."

This time his tone was filled with respect, he was now a knight wanting to redeem himself.

Hunter finally stopped before looking at him seriously.

"The place she went to, I don't think any of you would have wanted to go there," he finally spoke for the first time in two weeks.

The other four walked over with confusion on their faces.

"So you better just focus on the current battles and the place we are going to go next," he said returning on his swinging.

"But you do understand Hunter, we really do need her in our next fights," Ridge spoke up.

"I already told you all will not like that place, better give up that thought," he answered.

"Then tell us where is it," Nixon said this time.

Hunter sighed, "The island where everything begun."

They furrowed their brows in confusion before slowly they all understood what he meant.

"That island?!? Why would she go there?" Stormie exclaimed.

"There is something she needs to check," he replied seriously.

"..."

Hunter wants to follow her, they are not the only ones who has bad memories, she has them as well so why must she go on her own?

He gritted his teeth before glaring at Drake.

"I really want to get answer today Drake, why are you blaming her?"

Drake looked away.

His reason was simple, he was blaming her because she was Raynisha's sister.

"You just wanted it didn't you? Wanted to blame someone to hate someone just so you could justify what it was that you were feeling," Hunter continued before he looked at Willow.

"And you? What did she ever do to you? Wasn't it that it was her who had helped you greatly? All she wanted was respect, why must not you give it? She didn't ask you to smile for her or to return to the times where everything was still harmonious on our group. So what gave you the right to act this way?"

Willow was even more plagued with guilt as this was pointed out to her so blatantly.

"Her genuine smiles and happiness towards you people were all for a naught. Get back to your work and we are heading to the next kingdom after this."

After that Hunter turned and continued training with his sword.

He didn't want to hear from them that they half heartedly wanted to look for Saphira.

He'd rather allow her to be alone and have time for herself than for her to keep on keeping up and forgiving these people.

"Then the more that we should go there."

He turned with a frown when Drake spoke up.

"If she went there to check on something, isn't it that the matter in there still involves us?" Drake asked.

"You have really lost your reasoning," Hunter said to him.

"I have indeed, I may have. But if she went there to check something then that means something else was going on that she is hiding from us. You can call it doubt and all but I want to see it for myself. That I am really wrong, that I shouldn't really hate her," Drake argued.

Hunter laughed sarcastically, "You are wrong? You shouldn't hate her? Wake up, not one of us has the right to hate her!!"

Hunter rushed and grabbed his collar.

"You are alive right now because of Saphira, you are standing here right now hating her because of her," he then said with gritted teeth.

He pushed him and looked at each of them.

"Do you all really think that we all were just miraculously sent away on that day? With all the miasma surrounding us?"

He laughed again, he felt like he would go insane at how shallow minded these people are.

And how stupidly kind Saphira is.

"Yes I was unaware myself but then I found the truth. The forsaken truth that she kept quiet about."

They could only stare at him because he was snapping out, Saphira just did before she left but now even Hunter who follows her wishes all along.

He was snapping at them for a reason that seemed to pain him a lot.
