CHAPTER 118: Proud Of Your Decision

Everyone looked at the bird that flew in the room and perched itself on the window.

"We apologize, these brats are looking so dreadful, we just ended up doing it as well," Asherton laughed.

But even now, he could still feel a pang in his heart every single time he looks at Vermilion Bird.

They were his only grand daughters but they became entangled in such situation causing them a lot.

Vermilion Bird no longer replied but he remained in that room.

Well he was also bored watching over Saphira so coming here and watching these people would surely entertain him somehow.

If the others knew what he was thinking they would surely feel their bloods boil.

In reality, him being there made them nervous.

He was like a guard watching over the prisoners to speak of the truth and nothing but the truth of the matter.

They were somehow scared and all, that one wrong mistake and they will receive his venomous tongue.

Nervous not knowing that the one in question was simply bored.

"Okay, so why don't you start explaining juat what it is that happened, and the reason you are all here?" Asherton finally said.

Saphira didn't tell any of them of her plans so it is a shock to hear that their group was actually in this island where everything had begun.

Hunter took a deep breath and took charge in explaining what had happened in just three days of meeting up with her again.

They were already aware of the reason Saphira chose to leave the group for the time being and was ready to berate their children and grandchildren but what they are hearing made them even more disappointed.

Ferdinand glared at Drake, it seems he really was too lenient towards him.

Drake could only lower his head.

The others looked at their children before sighing.

They understood why they wanted to attack but what they badly needed was the level headedness that Saphira has.

If they couldn't achieve that then there are too many things to worry about in the future.

Asherton trembled upon hearing Raynisha's appearance.

Saphira didn't talk about her suspicions, she kept it to herself.

"So she appeared..." he sighed.

"We have actually thought about it but I think no one should be affected by her appearance," Hunter spoke.

They looked at him.

"I have told you Saphira attacked Raynisha with the intention to injure her. Even until before she collapsed, there's no reluctance or regret in her face. Saphira was looking at her as an enemy," he continued.

If Saphira were doing that, it only means that there is no point in feeling sad or pained at attacking Raynisha.

Asherton took a deep breath before smiling weakly, "You're right. If Saphira sees her as an enemy then that means she is an enemy."

Vermilion Bird looked at Hunter and agreed with him silently.

It wasn't an act on Saphira's part, she really was looking at Raynisha as an enemy.

"Okay, since we are now aware of the situation, let us do this extermination now," Asherton clapped his hands to lift the heavy atmosphere.

They all went their ways and spoke with their child and grandchild.

"I really am very much disappointed of you," Ferdinand sighed towards Drake.

"I know grandfather," Drake replied.

The words that Ferdinand prepared in berating him were stuck in his throat.

Drake would always choose not to answer or at times would even choose to answer back when he starts talking this way.

Yet at this moment, Drake actually spoke with a tone of repentance.

"I plan on making her a new sword," Drake informed him when Ferdinand didn't speak.

Ferdinand instantly understood what he meant.

In the life of the hosts of White Tiger, they have one chance of creating a sword like no other.

This started with the first host of White Tiger.

The sudden rise of the Dark Lord back then led him to the decision of incorporating the spirituality of the mythological beasts in the creation of the sword.

It took a lot of energy and mana.

At the same time his life force itself due to the number of what he was making.

To the point that after the battle, he was the first to pass away.

It was just that each of them ended up having families that the mythological beasts were passed down from generation to generation.

The act of creating a sword became one of the talents of the hosts of White Tiger.

But incorporation of the spirituality was never passed down so the swords created wouldn't be as strong as the first.

But Drake is confident that with Saphira's strength, she will be able to incorporate it herself.

He had asked White Tiger about the method but even White Tiger no longer remembers about it.

"You..."

Ferdinand was lost for words, he really didn't expect this.

The swords created by the hosts of their family were all national treasures, which means Drake's decision was truly big.

"She had saved my life, never blamed me for anything. There is nothing more I can do, don't you think so grandfather?" Drake said with a defeated smile.

Drake rarely smiled after what had happened, to be more precise this was the first smile that was not filled with sarcasm or scoff.

It may not be a smile of happiness but slowly Drake is changing his point of view.

And all of it were thanks to Saphira.

Because she allowed Drake to do as he please without much of a fight.

Drake was left with no excuses to accept his mistakes, because she have not done anything that allows him to have them.

"I am proud of your decision," Ferdinand replied patting his shoulder.

"Oooh, what's this, what's this? I can feel it surging in me. To actually think that she can do this much. Truly amazing aren't you. Have not done so much but was able to achieve too much. It is quite a fit I must say. Soon... Very soon... We shall meet one another."
