CHAPTER 133: Aren't A Bit Offended By It

The one who spoke was in his fifties, with white hair and a beard, matching with gray eyes.

He looked like someone who had seen so much and had been on battles a lot of times.

Saphira shook her head and stepped forward, "We would like to know just what is going on here. I am Saphira Fiamma... the commander."

"I am Helios, one of the generals in Nembus Kingdom," he replied before gesturing for them to follow him.

Though he kept glancing at Vermilion Bird.

Saphira acted like she didn't notice.

This is a different kingdom anyway, it is fine for Vermilion Bird to appear.

Her Empire wouldn't know of its existence for a good while since gossiping is out of the issue right now.

How can the kingdoms and Empires gossip about these things when they are busy with the uprising of darkness?

Even though she really didn't want to have Vermilion bird known, she has no other choice seeing as the darkness was really moving already.

'I wish I could know just where they are currently hiding right now,' she sighed at this thought.

But they would really be stupid if their hideout were to be find out so easily.

They were briefed as they travelled back to the palace, which is not far to where they entered the island.

Everything was going on just fine, their forces were able to hold the demionic beasts at bay.

They were still capable enough that calling for help was not yet on their minds.

But suddenly one day, someone from the sky appeared.

He had a hundred or so flying demonic beasts that was somehow strengthened by his own power.

They were attacking in a manner that was being instructed by the man causing more casualties on the kingdom.

The one who was leading the attacks from their kingdom was their crown prince, Felix.

The young man they met a while ago.

He had been fighting nonstop that he was lacking in rest and made him the way he is.

"We understand, we aren't a bit offended by it," Saphira replied.

The others were obviously the same as her, how can they be offended with such small act?

After they got close to the imperial city, they found that the villages near it and the imperial city itself was still intact.

"You were able to protect your kingdom," Hunter commented.

With a look, Helios knew the identity of this person.

"Yes, your highness, we were able to protect most parts of our kingdom."

"Please sir, I am currently a knight not the crown prince of my Empire," Hunter told him.

Helios nodded his head.

The seven of them looked around as they entered the gates, at the same time, the people were also looking at them curiously.

"The place look great, this is my first time here," Nixon spoke.

Even though it was not that different with the construction of their Empire, coming to a new place is still exciting.

"We can look around once we are done with the briefing," Hunter reminded them.

Their priority is to understand the condition of the kingdom before making their move.

But after seeing everything, Saphira already had a thought in mind.

And the pride in their crown prince's face, she could only sigh.

Just as they entered the palace, they heard him complaining.

"We don't need them father. We were doing fine on our own, why must we ask their help when they are obviously just being nonchalant. What if they make mistakes?"

The three girls looked at one another and at the same time rolled their eyes.

Helios cleared his throat and announced their arrival.

The King looked at Felix sternly and he could only swallow all the words he had to say.

The seven of them bowed their heads in respect.

"We have seen the capability of your kingdom," Saphira started.

"Then what is the point of you coming here?" Felix interrupted.

He never met them but they were young and their responsibility is big. Seeing their nonchalant faces when they arrived, he was already irked by them.

"Crown Prince Felix, am I right?" Saphira spoke up.

The king would have berated his son but he didn't want to embarrass him in front of these guests.

Yet he just had to speak in such a way towards them.

"We have no plans of taking credit for what you all can do for your kingdom. We wouldn't have come here if not for the call of help and the arrival of one of the soldiers of darkness," Saphira spoke up.

They were planning on checking the other islands that were not among the listed Empires and Kingdoms.

Since the last island was a factory, they knew there would be more.

But they received a call of help and found out that the force of darkness is stepping up their game.

They had no choice but to abandon that thought and come here.

The heads told them that they will look into the other islands and for them to focus in getting down the former elite squad.

With that they rushed here only to receive the sudden ire of their crown prince.

They can clearly see what he was thinking.

They were able to hold off the demonic beasts pretty well.

If their order were to defeat the one leading the demonic beasts then they can gain the merits of protecting the kingdom even though all they did was to defeat the leader.

"Seeing your capability, we have no plans of stepping in. We will only do so once that person appears. That is our current mission, you don't have to worry of us using your kingdom to make our names popular," she continued.

Felix was stomped for words.

The king felt even more embarrassed because they can clearly see what Felix was being angry about.

"With that said, we plan on looking around. Is that alright your majesty?" she looked back at him and asked.

"You may."
