CHAPTER 137: He Was Bullied

"I never wanted to get those two's attention," Ridge spoke to Nixon and Drake.

Somehow, Drake has started becoming open as well.

He started joining them, no longer doing things on his own.

It all started with Hunter and slowly towards the others.

This was the few changes that happened after the truth about Saphira was revealed to them.

Nixon and Drake nodded their heads, they didn't expect that the two would actually be such a bully.

They kept quiet the day before but it seems their silence doesn't mean that they were letting go.

And come to think of it their minds were in line the day before after Stormie had calmed down as well.

What makes the rest even more fearful towards the two of them, now that they are on their way back to the imperial city, they were once again not talking.

Willow was with Stormie while Saphira was looking around and beside her was Hunter.

They always start talking but whenever they will talk about something bad or sadistic.

"Maybe we should get those two away from one another? I don't think their changes were a good one at all," Nixon complained.

"But they are away from one another," Ridge commented pointing at how far apart they are once again.

The three young men couldn't help but to look at Felix, who was rendered speechless until the battle was over.

Their irritation disappeared and was instead replaced with pity.

It seems that Saphira developed her vocabulary of bullying through Vermilion Bird.

While Willow ended up having it as a side effect of trying to control plants and woods that are contaminated with darkness.

This development caused a very different relationship between the two of them.

If it was a good thing?

Then they will say that it is as long as their target is not among them.

But if it is among them, then this is not a good thing at all.

Vermilion Bird's venomous tongue still left them some fear.

Another two and surely they won't be able to manage it.

The king was baffled when his son returned.

He was so quiet, something very unusual whenever he returns from all of his extermination, he would always make sure that he will tell his father everything.

But this time around he didn't speak a word, the king had no choice but to call for Helios and understand what had happened.

"He was bullied, your majesty."

Helios thought hard but that was what really happened.

Saphira and Willow didn't let him go until the extermination was over.

"Bullied," the king was obviously very shock and angered upon hearing this.

"It seems that miss Saphira and miss Willow held a grudge over what had happened the day before.

The king was speechless, he didn't expect that they would actually do such a thing.

"Isn't that childish?" he reacted but soon realized that they are of the same age as his son and the fact that his son started it couldn't be ignored either.

He sighed, "Do you think, they will keep on going like this?"

Helios shook his head, "No sire. Miss Saphira had spoken with me asking me not to take offense but even they could get mad. Though they are not so pety as to keep doing it. It seems it will just be for today."

The king sighed, "That's good to hear then."

"And I think it wasn't really the bullying that left the prince silent all this time."

"Oh, what is it then?"

"I think it is their battle prowess. They didn't call out for the mythological beasts but instead was fighting with their swords and abilities. While doing so, miss Saphira was still pointing out what they were lacking. At the same time, they were showing different attacks that one couldn't simply be born with..."

Helios spoke of their new attacks and the king was even more impressed towards them.

"I guess he felt so embarrassed that he ended up being silent. At the same time, their strength must have overwhelmed him to the point of him reflecting on his own capabilities," the king commented.

*****

Saphira called for Stormie outside the inn they were staying at.

"What is it Saphira?"

"Stormie how many of us could you fly with you?" Saphira asked.

"As of the moment, about two," she answered.

"Then I will leave two lives in your hands."

Stormie furrowed her brows not understanding what she was suddenly saying.

"I already told you, we might end up having an aerial fight. You are the only capable one of making us fly. But..."

Without elaborating Stormie understood what she meant.

"If I was distracted then I might endanger them. Is that it?" she asked.

Saphira nodded her head.

"I am not asking you to be in complete control of your emotions. But because it is needed, I am asking you to ensure that the two who will join you in the air will be safe."

Saphira was telling her that no matter how much she was distracted, she needs to ensure that they won't fall on their death.

"Then who will join me? I need to train with them," she agreed.

"Nixon and... Felix."

Stormie instantly frowned.

"Why him?"

Saphira patted her shoulder, "Both of you can strengthen a fire attack. While you and Nixon can create ice attacks. Nixon can do it on his own now but if the battle were to be dragged for a long time, it is not ideal for him to keep on using it."

Stormie sighed, she understood very well why Saphira was doing this arrangement.

"And this is their kingdom, we need to be able to fight along side him, HARMONIOUSLY, because at this moment, they are our teammates."

Stormie stopped herself on rebuking that wasn't it that it was Willow and Saphira who bullied him just hours ago?

Instead she nodded her head in agreement.

"Very well, I will speak with the king and have the three of you do your thing before he appears again."
