CHAPTER 150: When You Finally Notice This

If she can see some clues then maybe they would be able to anticipate just where the others would choose to appear.

"At the same time, Chester and Flora's family history."

Reginald turned serious, "Do you think there could be a chance that the kingdom they choose would be related to their past?"

"If Samuel's is then surely the other two would appear as well. It is better to have more options, your majesty."

Reginald nodded his head, "I will have it prepared instantly."

"If possible I want it to be as far as possible in the past."

Reginald agreed and as soon as they were done, Gideon appeared.

"How's my younger brother? I only found out now the reason why he had called me the night before."

It seems Hunter asked Gideon before sending the report.

"He is still asleep, together with the others. It was too much of a shock for them. Even he who barely interacted with them felt fear towards your feelings for him," she honestly replied.

"Geez, he should never doubt my love for him. He is my one and only brother, how can I feel hatred towards him? Even with the beast, I am doing great on my own."

Admittedly, he himself was shock that the elite squad was like that but since he wasn't close to them, he really didn't interact with them.

Yet seeing his father's reaction, Gideon was aware that he and theheads must have known of it already.

"Uhmmm, shouldn't you be saying that to him?" Saphira asked with uncertainty.

Gideon sighed, "I did but it seems he was greatly affected that he was believing it at the same time not. I am telling you in order to have someone to remind him that I love him and envy is not part of my emotions at all."

He saw how hardworking his younger brother is.

Watched him grow up taking everything seriously. How can he envy him about the mythological beast when he had more work than his elder brother?

When he received some of Hunter's duties when he went to train, Gideon understood just how much Hunter was doing.

And instead, he felt more respect towards his brother prompting him to do better on his own work as a prince.

Saphira smiled, "I understand I will make sure that he understand what it is about."

Gideon smiled and thanked her, then the call ended.

After some thought, she stood up and quietly left the room, waiting for the news is not like her at all.

Since she was already here then she can check the history of the kingdom and its people.

Who knows she might find something useful when she received the details from the Emperor.

*GROWL*

"Eh?"

She snapped out of her concentration when she heard her stomach growl loudly.

When she checked the time, she didn't even realize that it was already close to sunset.

"I haven't eaten for the whole day, must not have noticed it since we ate quite late last night."

With a sigh she looked at all the books that she had read, it was mostly about the royal family and the important people of the kingdom.

She had of course asked permission to see it and the king gave her permission to do so.

As she stood up, she saw something at the edge of the table in front of her.

Something that she didn't see while sitting because the books in front of her was covering it.

There was a plate of fruits and some dishes that could still be eaten deliciously despite turning cold.

There was also a note.

'Eat when you finally notice this.'

It was Hunter's handwritting.

'He came, I wonder if they are doing better?'

Then she shook her head, she knew they will be fine. For now she needed to do what she can.

*****

"Do you think she had noticed it already?" Stormie asked Hunter.

They are all in the training ground.

After lunch they went and brought food to her when they heard that no one have seen her yet, even though she was no longer in the room.

When they chanced upon the king, he had informed them that she must be in the library because she had asked him a question before disappearing again.

With that they found her buried in books and even with them talking, she wouldn't respond.

Saphira has some level of concentration when she reads.

If she reads for fun and curiosity, she would reply with only an okay or a yes.

But if it is something of great improtance and she is trying to find or understand something then no matter who talks to her she wouldn't reply at all.

Of course, if there is danger she will surely snap out of it but if it is something of a daily matter, then she won't be disturbed at all.

"Could be, what we gave was something that could be eaten when cold, she will eat once she gets hungry," Hunter replied.

All of them didn't feel like disturbing her at all.

The look on her face a while ago indicates that what she was looking for was something very important.

All of them somehow woke up during lunch and waited for each other before going together.

Even up to now, they didn't feel like being alone.

"She found out as a child but she thought about us that she kept it from all of us, her care for us can never be compared to anything at all," Ridge spoke with a sigh.

The others silently agreed.

"Oh there you are, thanks for the food."

Just as they entered, Saphira was waving at them.

"You have eaten everything?" Hunter asked her.

"How can I not when everything was for me? How about all of you, have you eaten?"

"We have, it is already close to dinner," Nixon answered.

Saphira laughed before looking at each of them.

"We will stay here for another month to ensure whether Samuel will return or not. If not then we will leave but we will have the king contact us instantly once he appears when we are not around."

They can't stay and wait for a long while, there are more places they needed to go to.
