CHAPTER 201: To Fend For Yourselves

"You sit and relax while we kill because of the pact?"

She laughed bitterly once again.

Then she turned silent, simply standing there looking at them without saying a word, Hunter remained silent as well.

He can tell what she was trying to do here.

She was not yet done telling them what she wanted but because they continued looking as if this was their duty for the whole world, she will wait.

If they are to disconnect then that empire or kingdom will be left alone.

She wouldn't bother checking on them or having their group go there for help.

If they can't respect them as people who are in the forefront then she doesn't need to bother saving their lives.

Reginald could see it as well and he has no desire of stopping her.

Saphira's patience isn't unlimited, if they are to be placed in danger because of these people then he would rather close off the entire Empire and wait for the darkness to attack them instead.

He'd rather fight with the seven of them together with the rest of Qillian Empire than to risk the lives of these seven for the people who thinks that they shouldn't be thankful because this is their duty.

"This is your duty, stop complaining," one spoke with scoff before ending the call.

Three others followed.

And these four were three kingdoms and one empire.

Saphira smirked, "Anymore?"

Reginald's face darkened at the way they smugly acted.

No one followed these four, they can somehow feel that if they were to leave they would be meeting their end instead.

"Well, then if there are no more let me inform you," Reginald spoke after ten minutes and no one followed the four of them.

"Those four... we shall never visit them. These seven will act as if those four are not part of this world. As for the knights deployed to assist them? They are to be called back as well."

Reginald had deployed knights all over the world to support Saphira and the rest.

In order to lessen the burden on their shoulders, yet those people dared to mock them?

He won't stand aside and simply watch them do as they please towards their children.

The others couldn't help but to want to argue with him.

If they had left then they would lose the support?

"I don't care about the pact anymore, these seven are doing their best on their own now without thinking about the pact. We can go to an all out war if you want. But I will not let you take advantage of that stupid paper jsut to satisfy your greed."

Everyone fell silent.

Seeing as they have no more rebuke, he once again opened his mouth.

"This is the second time, insult or pain, no matter which, if they are to experienc it the third time. Then Qillian Empire shall be closed off, the seven of them shall return home. If you don't respect them then I don't mind leaving all of you to fend for yourselves."

Reginald or even his ancestors never spoke of the pact in this way.

This showed just how serious- No.

It is indeed a serious matter now.

An empire and a kingdom have insulted the seven of them instead of being grateful.

If one were to think of it in a way that the seven were from their place, they would surely be mad themselves.

The first time would make them go mad already and would have surely pulled the seven of them back.

They silently agreed before the call has ended, this time only Reginald remained.

"Say your majesty, I wonder what happened to a wedding proposal sent to you five years ago?" Saphira asked.

Her face remeined dark, her anger have not subsided at all.

Worst it seems to be increasing every minute.

"I have no idea what you are talking about," Reginald replied honestly.

She pointed at Cedric, "He had sent you one for that woman to marry Hunter!!"

Reginald didn't know what to say and could only scratch the back of his head.

"Did you know your majesty that I was called a messenger when I only came here to just read some books? And then I had to listen to all of their nonsense because you told me before leaving that I should watch myself. And I did so why must I listen to their nonsense? Why must I listen to them insulting my friends?"

She was feeling indignant and hurt for all of them.

At first she was simply angry but as the time ticks by and as she watched the reaction from the other leaders, she started feeling hurt for them.

"Why must I hold back?" she asked with her emotions fully showing in her eyes.

Reginald knew, if he answered wrongly in this question of hers, Saphira might end up not wishing to continue this and simply go off on her own to look for the one leading the darkness.

What they are doing now is lessening the number of demonic beasts at the same time ensure that each kingdoma dn empire are in good condition.

This is them doing their part on the pact but in the end, nothing was appreciated.

"I have already told them my stand, for now, do as you wish, I won't stop you," he replied.

She was giving him face by not doing anything to the people of Hydra Kingdom and instead was asking him for she needs to do.

Saphira had her brow furrowed when a sigh came beside her.

After all this time, Hunter finally reacted.

"It is fine fathe, let me handle this. But do ensure that every wedding proposal are properly returned so that nothing like this would happen again," he then said.

Reginald nodded his head before they ended the call.

"I say, it seems that we are taking their feelings for one another too lightly. Together with the extent of what they can do for one another."
