CHAPTER 208: You Are Waiting For Me

"Geez, just enjoy the place. If we meet him, we meet him," Stormie rolled her eyes.

Willow's neck was about to become longer at the way she was searching fro Raizen.

"Not until I thanked him properly will I be able to become at ease," Willow said before returning her eyes on their surrounding.

Upon reaching a crossroad, due to the fact that she had been frantically looking around, it was too late for her to realize that she was about to bump into another person.

Stormie could only hit her forehead when Willow bumped into another person.

She was supported instantly before she heard a chuckle.

"Why do we keep meeting in this kind of manner?"

Looking at the person, it was that same person she had been searching for for a while now.

"Willow, right?" Raizen said with a smile.

Willow blinked, "You know my name?"

Raizen laughed before he stopped, "I was running after another person. See you later, I'll be around the plaza, if you will still roam then you will surely see me around."

After that he left without waiting for their reply.

"He knows my name?" Willow asked Stormie.

It was Stormie's turn to shake her head in exasperation.

"If Saphira were to see you now, she would surely berate you, how many times have you bump into someone, too late to realize it?"

"Why does he know my name?" Willow still asked.

"Dear lord, I didn't know my friend has this kind of side," Stormie looked up in the sky before she walked over and lightly hit Willow in the head.

"I know his name, obviously we exchanged names yesterday when he came to the rescue and helped you carry back to the inn."

"Oh..."

In reality, Willow wasn't really bewildered by the fact that he knows her name but the fact that his eyes were truly captivating.

She couldn't help but be drawn in.

Matching it with his messy short blue hair and when he smiled, the dimples that appeared.

She didn't expect that she would be drawn towards a person by their appearance alone.

'Or not...' she thought.

It might be because he was the first person to always reach out to support her first without waiting if she will be fine on her own.

The feeling of being protected in the simplest ways.

'That must be it, the first time to experience such a thing.'

She squatted down making Stormie stare at her wondering if she had lost her mind already.

'Get a grip of yourself Willow, that's too shallow,' Willow berated herself.

Just as Stormie was about to reach out to ask her what's wrong, Willow abruptly stood up.

"That's right, his kind gesture deserve gratefulness. That's all there is to it."

She started walking towards the plaza where she might meet Raizen.

Stormie sighed, she could see why her friend was being disturbed.

All her life she had supported Drake but Drake was first focused on his brother then he became focused on his hatred.

With that, Willow had been left as the second priority despite his feelings for her.

And because he was her priority, she learned to be strong on her own without gainiong support or protection from anyone else.

As someone who was so used to such, a simply gesture would cause her to be moved.

It was so simple but Raizen's aura was gentle and warm, that Willow was drawn in.

If there is a love at first sight then there could be this kind of phenomenon.

Willow may have not fallen but she was surely shaken.

Especially since she had been distancing herself from Drake for a while now.

And she must have been too tired on trying to follow Drake all around.

"Hey, what do you think is his work? He kept rushing here and there," Willow asked Stormie as they sat down on the fountain at the center of the plaza.

Stormie shook her head taking a bite on the bread in her hands.

"Even his clothes were not of a uniform," Willow commented again.

"Why don't you just ask when you meet him again?" Stormie asked her.

"We've been going around for half a day already. Still no sight of him. When will I meet him?" Willow complained.

Stormie laughed, this is the first time she was seeing Willow being like this.

When it comes to Drake she was always in control with her emotions.

"Calm down, seeing as he had said where he would be all day, he was willing to meet up again," she then said.

"Seeing as you stayed at the center, can I assume that you are waiting for me?"

Both looked up when they heard that familiar voice.

And there stood, Raizen with his gray shirt and black trousers, together with his gentle smile and expressive eyes.

Willow took a deep breath, "We really are looking for you. But you seem to be so busy."

Raizen scratched his head, "Well, since there is some festivity right now. We are to ensure that the security of the place in place."

"You are a knight?" Willow asked him with a stunned look.

She couldn't feel the ferociousness of a knight within Raizen.

He chuckled, "You could say that."

"Then I shall leave the two of you alone. There are things I want to ckeck. Please take care of my friend," Stormie said before she started walking away.

But Willow grabbed the back of her collar and pulled her back.

"Where are you going?"

Stormie rolled her eyes, "I am not the one who wants to thank him. I have accompanied you for half a day."

Willow wanted to tell her to stay but she had been willful enough, she could only let go.

Once Stormie disappeared from their sight.

"You want to thank me?" Raizen spoke up.

"Well, for sending me back to the inn yesterday. I was drunk and all, thank you for taking the effort of helping me out," Willow replied a bit embarrassed.
