CHAPTER 209: Finally Moving Forward

Raizen smiled, "Then would you like to look around again with this knight?"

He can tell that she won't take a no for an answer, so he initiated to ask her to walk around in order not to embarrass her farther.

Willow smiled in return, "If you are fine with walking around withe me, then..."

He laughed as he gestured for them to start walking.

And since he was a local, he knows more pretty places than the places that Willow and Stormie had walked around to already.

Soon she was lead up hill.

"Here," Raizen extended his hand towards her.

Though stunned, Willow accepted his hand as he helped her up a boulder big enough for twenty people to stood at.

But since most people were at the plaza enjoying the festivity, there was only the two of them in that place.

It was now dusk, that when Willow stepped foot on the boulder, what she saw was the sun seeting at a distance with the plaza just in front of them.

"This is one of the best place to be if you are to check the plaza," Raizen commented.

Slowly lights turned on as the sky turned dark.

Willow gasped, "This is..."

It was so pretty.

The lights became the stars on the ground twinkling in front of them.

And even with the lights just near them, the stars were shinning brightly above them.

"It's beautiful," she continued.

Raizen looked at her and smiled, "I'm glad you liked it."

In reality, Raizen was bewildered.

It's not always but there are a lot of times where he would be followed by ladies he met for the first time.

They would do everything just to get his attention and he felt repulsive towards them.

This is the first time that he felt at ease and actually dared to walk around town with a lady.

'It must be because of her eyes,' he thought as they walked back towards her inn.

"Was that really enough?" Willow asked him for the nth time.

She was insisting that she treat him to food or drinks but he simply didn't allow her to do so.

He was even the one who treated her and told her that accompanying him in his free time was enough.

As a knight she did notice that some knights who chanced upon them would look at them weirdly.

Knowing that he is a knight, it must be because of his personality when it comes to his duties.

They did talk a lot and she found herself enjoying his company.

This is the same for him.

"Hmmm, then why don't you accompany me again on a day that you aren't busy?"

She had told him that they didn't come here simply for a vacation but they are here for some business as well.

"What if you are busy on that day?" she asked.

He shook his head, "I can have time, don't worry."

She furrowed her brows but still agreed, since she was enjoying his company then why not.

Of course, she wouldn't neglect her training but they are staying her for a short period of time and it is not always that she would meet such person.

"Very well, I'll just leave a message at the boar's hut, if I am free on a certain day," Willow said before waving him goodbye.

Boar's Hut was where they ate dinner and Raizen told her that she could leave a message for him there if she needs anything, he would be able to check on it every night.

Raizen waved her goodbye when his eyes caught the person who took over in carrying Willow the day before.

This person nodded his head towards him.

Unlike yesterday where he looked unfriendly, today he seemed approachable.

Raizen nodded towards him as well before leaving.

"Hey, hey, hey our captain is back."

The moment he stepped foot to the training ground, he was met with his subordinates looking at him in a teasing manner.

"Not just us but the other units have seen you walking around town with a beautiful lady," one teased.

"Shut it," he retorted.

He was actually not a simple knight but one of the three captains of the kingdom, they were next only to the general.

Since the kingdom is just a small one, there is only one general, meaning his position is quite high within the kingdom.

"What's this? You don't look like you were pressureed to accompany that lady," another spoke.

Raizen simply rolled his eyes.

"Is our fastest knight who was the slowest when it comes to relationship, finally moving forward?"

That is Raizen's ability, Speed.

He was known with his coordination to his ability.

Not all speed ability users could coordinate well with their body movement.

But Raizen was a good one, he could be known as an assassin knight as well.

Due to his speed and attack that didn't need any pause in between, he could kill as much as a quarter of the enemy they are facing.

Almost on the same number as the general.

That is why he was also known as the best within the three captains to which the other two readily accepted.

Despite being a wind and wood ability user, the other two couldn't really win against Raizen for how he can use his ability to its maximum capability.

Despite their teasing, Raizen chose not to say a thing for if he did, they would surely tease him even more.

It is best to just ignore them.

And he did, he went up to the room he was using within the training ground to rest.

The reason he was always teased was because he had been trying his best to stay away at the ladies but this is the first time he didn't do so.

'Her eyes seemed shock that she was given helped on a simple matter,' he thought when he remembered their first meeting.

That's what made him drawn to her.

Not the usual lovestruck eyes upon seeing his look but it was a shock that registered in her eyes
