CHAPTER 247: Surely There Is Something Else

"What happened to those two?" Ridge asked tilting his head to the side.

Willow looked over and frowned as well.

Nixon simply continued eating not caring one bit.

Drake cleared his throat and continued on with his food.

Saphira didn't say a thing either.

The five of them are sitting together eating their breakfast when Ridge noticed Felix and Stormie.

They were interacting, Felix helping Stormie but as compared to her out going strong personality, Stormie seemed to be a bit shy around him.

Watching closely, his frown slowly turned to enlightenment.

"Hey is what I'm thinking the answer?" he asked looking at the rest.

"I guess," Willow replied as she too, realized something in the interaction between the two.

The both of them looked at the other three.

Nixon frowned, "Why are you looking at me?"

"We aren't looking at you in particular though. We are looking at the three of you, looking for answer," Ridge retorted.

"I don't know what is wrong with them. I don't even understand what you meant by your words because it is what you are thinking and not mine."

Nixon grumpily stood up and left.

Ridge blinked before he chuckled, "Seriously, he has not understood it yet until now?"

"Seems that way, or else he won't react this way," Willow answered.

Then they looked at the other two.

"I still have something," Drake said, standing up and leaving them behind.

The two of them were bewildered by his reaction. On the other hand, Saphira suddenly laughed.

"What's going on?"

Saphira looked at them, "Well let's just say that he and I were at the wrong place at the wrong time. And what you guys are thinking, I think it is the right answer."

"You mean he had finally confessed and you and Drake heard it?" Ridge asked reading in between her words.

Saphira smiled but didn't say a thing.

Nevertheless, this smile was already the answer to his question.

But the joyful atmosphere suddenly turned serious moments later.

"Gather everyone," Saphira commanded.

There was a strong force coming from the west side which is filled with nothing but trees and forests, and farther west was the ocean.

It was an open entry way for anyone to come.

Lily sighed inside of Saphira, 'It seems another kingdom or land has fallen.'

Saphira's heart thumped upon hearing this from her.

But she couldn't deny this fact because this force is too big if they were simply the people that are still missing from Hydra Kingdom.

Her heart thumping was because west of this land was Draco Empire.

"I should probably give him a call once this is over," she muttered.

Zian had become a close friend of theirs and because of the sudden side mission they have now, their time is being consumed instead. If not then by this time they should have been done with this land and were already close to Draco Empire.

"Saphira, farther west of this land is…" Willow spoke beside her.

She didn't hear Lily but she can tell from the amount of dark force that is approaching them. This number is really too big for only a few from Hydra Kingdom.

"Let's just pray that they will remain fine, there is also another land on the west side. Sadly we have not visited that place yet," Saphira replied.

In this time, Hunter had walked over with a serious look, followed by Elizabeth.

The seven mythological beasts also came out.

"They will be fine," Hunter spoke seeing the worried look on Saphira.

She looked at him and smiled but her smile contained a tinge of loneliness.

'I will only hear such words from you now when we need to group up, when all along I had been in this kind of mood, you didn't realize at all. Only now that you are close to me.'

Saphira couldn't help but think as she watched them walk closer and the moment she, Hunter, Vermilion Bird and Qirin were close.

'We can only wish that we can save the world.'

Another scene appeared in the mind of these four.

They were surrounded by so many corpses and more people are shouting at one person alone, they were obviously angry.

They were blaming her over and over again.

Her and her alone even though she has companions beside her.

The crowd had drowned the voices of her companions, no matter what they say, no one listened and could only angrily shout at her.

The feeling of loneliness spread from her.

Loneliness, pain and tiredness.

Soon the scene changed.

She was looking towards the vast sea and a man was standing behind her, somehow they can vaguely tell that there are others behind him as well.

The man raised his hand but stopped and his hand dropped to his side.

The lady turned around but the light was blocking her upper body, not allowing the four of them to see what she looked like.

'This is the first time I will be asking you for something, I wished no more deaths but that is not the case. No matter how strong you are, you will still have things you can't protect. So please be stronger, far stronger than you are now and save more people.'

They couldn't see their faces but they could feel their emotions.

The man felt helpless as he watched her, he felt so useless that he couldn't approach her and break the barrier surrounding her.

Those behind him felt the same way as him, they wanted to envelope her in their arms to disperse the loneliness she was exuding.

The four breathed deeply when this scene ended.

"Are you guys alright?" their friends asked seeing the sudden changes in them.

"No, it's nothing," Saphira replied.

But who would believe it when all four of them suddenly had that same reaction of being in a trance then in a shock.

They only talked about Draco Empire being fine yet they suddenly had such reactions.

Surely there is something else.
