"Remember this my disciple, Bark Kingdom as we know is one of, if not the weakest human kingdom in this world. However, that does not mean that there are no very dominant powers inside. With my help, you should eventually reach immortality, but until you do and are considered a major figure, you must begin from the bottom up whether it is cultivating, or building something like this business."
"I know what it is like being young and having all of these big dreams and aspirations, but what no one will tell you, is that unless you work hard, even those who have a deep background would be unable to remove the stigma. Hard work is what separates the ordinary from the eventual geniuses of this world. Even if it took you many centuries to become an immortal for example, you might have reached a higher tier compared to those who from birth have been given countless resources."
"Never forget, you may be starting your journey now and may even be slightly behind others your age, but it is how you move forward that counts! Therefore, I hope you decide to rub shoulders and network at the very least with several of the auction houses within this city before you leave. It is not like you absolutely have to, but you must learn to sow these seeds early on!" Master Sei explained to Timothy before answering some other questions Timothy had for him.
It would come down to how Timothy decided to move forward and in reality, Master Sei was only there to offer his opinion. Luckily, Timothy was at least smart enough to take this into account. He felt that down the road he would try to rely on his master less and less, but for now he had no other option but to listen to him completely. Timothy's future would include saving his master's soul and finding a new body, so it was not like Master Sei had any dark intentions since his fate was also in Timothy's hands.
A short time later, the male attendant called Timothy over once more and began to go through everything. Included with the deed, were a total of five badges since Timothy made it clear that they were still small as well as verification certificate which would allow Timothy to enter into different areas within the Bark Kingdom solely made for business owners.
"Hey Brett! You had better have everything I asked for yesterday or do not blame me for hitting that nice looking face of yours!" Suddenly before Timothy was about to turn around to leave, a voice sounded out, causing him to halt his movements before finally looking over.
At the entrance was a very well dressed youth with two adults accompanying him. Although he was very well dressed, the youth who seemed to be around Timothy's age wore a strange looking pointy blue hat on his head that matched his blue eyes. However, even though it sounded like this youth was about to cause trouble, he instead began to laugh and looked to only be joking around.
"Young master, I know that you are only joking around with me, but if my boss were to hear, you might have actually received a stern written warning." the male attendant replied as he watched the youth and the two others walk towards him and Timothy.
"Oh come on, why are you trying to treat me like that lunatic from the Ash clan? If you continue to do so, I might actually feel hurt and offended." the youth replied with a long sigh. Timothy was not used to seeing such a carefree looking youth which must have meant that this individual had quite the background. Plus, it would be very unusual for two adults who were clearly Intermediate stage cultivators to simply be following behind him!
"Are you spreading rumors again? If your father knew that you were talking ill of a rival clan, he might scold you." Brett told the youth before continuing. "As the direct descendant of the Ice Mold clan, you must carry yourself slightly better."
"Rival clan? Do not make me laugh! If there is a clan who could compete with my Ice Mold clan within Mist City, I would be more than happy to declare a civil rivalry. It is too bad that not even the Holy Sword Institute's students are willing to stand up to someone like me. Since when did our Bark Kingdom begin to have such boneless so called experts?" the youth replied as if he was putting on a big show for Timothy and the male attendant.
"Anyways, do you have what I asked you to put together? I am actually in a rush to get over to the Maroon Auction House. It is the first time in two months that they have put together quite a show and you should know better than anyone else, how I am unable to deny such wonderful treasures to bid on!" the youth asked as the two adults behind him scratched their heads as if it was not a very pleasant experience watching this individual bid on treasures at auctions.
"Well now that I am done assisting this customer, I can take care of you. I will be just a moment, so please bear with me a little while longer." Brett told the youth before heading in the back of the building. It was unclear if he just wanted to take a short mental break from dealing with the youth being so overbearing, or if he actually left everything in the back of the building.
"Hey, you seem to be pretty strong. What clan are you affiliated with?" the youth asked Timothy as the two adults decided to sit down on the chairs nearby to relax. It seemed that they were indeed only present so that this individual would not get hurt. The more that Timothy thought about this youth, the more confused he became.
