Chapter 62

"So he is indeed growing faster than expected, I suppose this works as well because such a remote region was giving me head cramps." Master Sei being unable to be seen by Timothy thought as he looked at him from behind. "Maybe I did make the correct decision by choosing him over that other cultivator."

Several hours had gone by, and not a single person had entered into Timothy's room. This gave him the chance to pull out a map of Bark Kingdom as well as Stone Kingdom. The two did indeed connect in a way, but the two kingdoms were separated by a large desolate area referred to as the Monster's Wasteland.

The area was full of many low leveled demon beasts, but since the Bark Kingdom and the Stone Kingdom were both rather weak, there was no way to eliminate the hordes of demon beasts with their armies. Therefore, such an area was left alone and only experts who wanted to temper themselves and test their strength and survival skills would be willing to enter the area.

Roughly an hour later, Jack walked back into the room with several storage rings in his hands. "Hey so I was able to talk with everyone and even told them the choices you were given. George and two others recommended you should join the Relic Church, while the rest recommended that you should make your way over to Stone Kingdom." he told Timothy before sitting on one of the chairs in the room.

"It would be nice to be part of an organization that everyone in Bark Kingdom feels is in the number one position. However, I plan on heading to the Monster's Wasteland. I want to temper this new strength of mine properly and make my own way moving forward. I feel like I need to make this situation a positive one and take advantage of being able to be on my very own for once." Timothy told Jack with a smile on his face.

"Actually Jack, if you could, please send someone over to Boulder Village. I wish to meet with the one and only person I have on my payroll to explain what had happened properly. I will be in your debt moving forward, so please make sure this letter is sent to him and that my family properly receives this other letter." Timothy told Jack while handing him two separate letters.

"Of course, on my way back I will stop by to tell everyone your decision and I will also be sure to ask one of them for a map of the area you will be heading towards. It is recommended that only Intermediate stage experts approach the middle area, while the outer regions are not too life threatening for Elementary stage cultivators such as yourself." Jack replied as he accepted the two letters and left the room once more.

Hearing what Jack had said, made Timothy feel slightly more confident in this decision of his. It would most likely take quite a few years for him to reach the Intermediate stage of cultivation, but from Jack's expression, the same did not count for dual cultivators such as himself.

It was not like he wanted to immediately head towards the middle area of the Monster's Wasteland. However, if he wanted to reach civilization once more, his only choice would be to at least skim past the middle area in order to make his way towards Stone Kingdom. Plus, it would not be unusual for him to be able to eat some dead demon beast's body as long as he cooked it correctly and completely removed all of the blood on said piece.

This was only a survival type of idea because normal animals actually tasted much better compared to demon beasts. The reason was because demon beasts had special blood with many different characteristics and uses. But if one were to try even a drop, it would be difficult to swallow from both the burning sensation and the horrible taste.

According to Timothy's estimations, even if he were to kill fifty demon beasts and store their bodies within his storage ring, he could easily double the amount of wealth he had currently on hand. However, killing so many would cause his weapons to slowly rust and breakdown while his equipment may not be entirely salvageable. Both were essential to his overall wealth at the moment which was now somewhat of a negative since he had much more which he did not or could not use.

When planning to enter an area where combat would be unavoidable and for an extended stay, the majority of experts would only bring along the most essential things with them. Some long lasting food, two or three weapons, a set of equipment, and possibly even an elixir or two depending on the risk factor.

In Timothy's case, he had to bring everything that he had along with him. Luckily, one of the storage rings that were gifted to him back in the auction house, was able to store all of the items and gold that he had. Planning on using everything he had in the most efficient way, Timothy began reorganizing to fill the smaller storage rings up first and placing them into the bigger one in their own area.

This was a commonly used method for those with very well off backgrounds, because if someone had a higher quality storage ring, more common ones would be able to fit inside of them. Unfortunately, two storage rings of equal quality and value were unable to be stored. In Timothy's case, this was not a problem since his main storage ring was a grade three while the rest he had on hand were only grade one.

As he finished, a knock sounded from the outside of his door. He could not help but to look over as it began to open and two figures entered. To Timothy's surprise, the two figures were Jacob and Jack! "Wait, Jacob why did you come here?" he could not help but to ask with a shocked expression on his face as he stood up.
