Chapter 81

"Perfect, I am sorry to have to rely on you to soar up into the sky to scout for me, but if I am being blunt here, it does help me greatly!" Timothy nodded with a half smile on his face as he swallowed a bottle full of medicine while cooking a meal for himself. Now that he was making his way through the Monster's Wasteland in one shot, he did not have to work very hard on portion control.

With the note that he left, Jacob also left a grade one storage ring for Timothy along with about two months worth of food while he took the rest and the grade two storage ring back to Bark Kingdom with him. Timothy was lost for words on why Jacob would leave him so much food, but he was glad that he was at least willing to take everything else that Timothy had given to him back as well.

The more he thought about Bark Kingdom, the more he thought about his family. By this time, little Joshua may have still been little, but he would probably be walking by now and even talking a little bit while mumbling sounds. His father was most likely working every day to keep up with the demand while his mother would be in the house worrying about him but surrounded by other mothers in Mist City.

"You know Master Sei, I think I really did make the right decision. With such a dominant figure as my teacher along with this heaven defying ability, it would have been strange for me to remain in Bark Kingdom, no matter how much I could have catapulted the kingdom into a new golden age." Timothy told Master Sei as he continued eating his large and filling meal.

"Do not worry my disciple, one day you will be strong enough to pick up your family and bring them along with you. I also could not agree more that I feel you made the right decision. Plus, the more you grow as I have seen, the more I want to refer to you as a genius in this world's terms." Master Sei replied after pondering over what Timothy had just told him.

"Your first step will actually be reaching immortality. After that, it does not matter who was a genius or not before reaching immortality, because every cultivator is usually in the same boat. To be able to reach immortality would mean that you were blessed by the heavens and could be considered a true expert. Sure there are many stages one could achieve after reaching immortality, but when that time comes, you will know how to move forward or how not to move forward."

After finishing his meal, Timothy quickly began moving once more. If he could make it to the center of the Monster's Wasteland, he would feel good enough to pause his advancement long enough to rest and recharge. According to one of the books that gave a good layout to the Monster's Wasteland which he had in his storage ring, the book claimed that there was only one level three demon beast present along with at least fifty level two demon beasts.

This was also why neither the Bark Kingdom or the Stone Kingdom wanted to send their military in to kill them, because the joint battle would still cause quite a big impact on all sides and it would actually weaken Bark Kingdom and Stone Kingdom enough for them to be seen as targets by other nearby kingdoms. However, Timothy had no plans on killing any of them, he just wanted to safely arrive in Stone Kingdom while he was young.

As he continued heading towards the middle area of the Monster's Wasteland, Timothy noticed that there were small batches of level one demon beasts and so one by one he would kill each group of only two or three of them. He wanted to get to Stone Kingdom as soon as possible, but allowing demon beasts to live instead of giving him a profit while dead, was something he still was not exactly willing to give up.

Timothy's efficiency continued to increase while using the pole, so the battles lasted a very short amount of time. Unfortunately, he knew that he most likely reached his current peak of cultivation by relying on battles to advance. However, once he made it into Stone Kingdom, he could simply sell all of his loot and unneeded items and possibly even buy a house in a remote area.

He wanted to keep a rather low profile for at least five more years, before he was willing to create a splash in Stone Kingdom. He was unaware of how many experts from Bark Kingdom who wanted him dead had contacts within Stone Kingdom so he really needed to work hard to conceal himself or to at least keep a low profile moving forward. However, if he could join other stronger experts compared to himself in some way, he would not necessarily decline the invitation.

Four more hours passed by and Timothy estimated that he had killed at least sixty or so level one demon beasts. On occasion, he needed to halt his advancing towards the middle area in order to recover his stamina, but for the most part, he continued without stopping. When he was not in battle, he would have conversations with Master Sei about what he thought he should do once he reached Stone Kingdom, of course after he would do the obvious things.

"I agree that it would be a good choice to get rid of everything that holds no value or use to you. If you are able to get rid of enough, you will not have to worry about taking up too much space in those storage rings of yours. What you choose to do after that just depends on what happens between you selling all of those things and looking for a good place to stay for a while." Master Sei suggested to Timothy. Timothy was still young enough to be taken in by a school, so if he had such an opportunity, there would be no reason to decline.
