Chapter 83

"Captain! That kid looks like he wants to head over to the waterfall and cause trouble in the area! If we do not stop him, there is a chance that we will all be slaughtered by that demon beast and its underlings!" one of the three soldiers told the captain while still in a confused daze.

"Damn it, we have to stop him or he will get us all killed! One of you heads over quickly as I keep an eye on our surroundings so that if anything happens, I might have enough time to save everyone. As for the rest of you, continue to follow me slowly as we head over as a group." The captain of the group gave his orders and the group of four began implementing them.

"Why the hell is one of them heading over here, was my warning not good enough?" Timothy thought in his head before heading to meet the other human head on. He was not sure what exactly was happening, but if they were ignoring his warning, it must actually mean something bad might happen.

"Hey kid, keep your energy suppressed! If you go full power, you will disturb the demon beasts in the area and you will get us all killed!" one of the soldiers shouted over to Timothy as the two were getting closer to each other.

Timothy hearing this from the soldier was becoming even more confused, but at least for the time being, he was safe when faced with these experts since now he knew that all he had to do was circulate all of his energy and the demon beasts in the area would begin launching attacks at them.

However, once he finally landed next to the soldier, Timothy noticed yet another unfamiliar expert heading over from a small distance away. He had no choice but to heighten his guard as the soldier next to him noticed that he was looking at something nearby. The soldier looked over as well, and he spotted the figure in the distance before the confused look on his face changed to a serious one.

"Captain, the one with the bounty on his head is over there! Quickly, we must set up our formation and attack before he is able to escape!" the soldier shouted out to the group of three human cultivators who were still heading over to their location, but much slower as to keep an eye on the surroundings.

Hearing what the soldier had shouted out, caused the captain of the four to look over to where the soldier was pointing. "Shit! Everyone get into formation quickly, he may only be at the Advance stage of cultivation, but he chose to undergo a Demon Blood Sacrifice, and so I am afraid that even I would have trouble against him in a one on one fight!" he shouted his orders as the four no longer chose to hold back.

Coming together in a strange military type formation, the four humans began circulating all of the energy in their bodies as they each withdrew ranked spear weapons before their formation's shape changed into a strange looking bird type illusion. "Halt your advancement and allow us to capture you! If you cooperate, you will be brought back and will properly face a court!" the captain shouted towards the approaching figure who seemed to not want to even slow his movements.

"Lord Trident, there are humans in your area who wish to do harm to one of your servants! Please come over to teach them a lesson along with the others!" the figure shouted out as the demon beast type aura began radiating from his body. Timothy was unsure what a Demon Blood Sacrifice was, but looking over to the approaching middle aged man, he felt that he was somehow now a demon beast and not a human!

The middle aged man's voice echoed throughout the area before finally reaching the waterfall. A moment later, a massive demon beast emerged from the water after over one hundred other slightly smaller and weaker ones exited the water. It was as if a large demon beast army somehow fit within the body of water connected to the waterfall as the demon beasts in their demon beast forms covered the sky and were fast approaching all of the humans.

"Damn you for choosing to side with the demon beasts instead of your own species. Since you have chosen this path, I have no choice but to declare your death!" the captain shouted as the formation the soldiers made began approaching the middle aged man swiftly. However, the middle aged man showed no signs of being afraid of the formation as demon beast aura continued circulating around his body.

"Quickly! If we are unable to land our attack on him, he will be able to successfully advance to the Master stage of cultivation and we will all be eaten by the demon beasts since he will not spare us nor will they!" the captain nervously told the three other soldiers who were under his command. While this was all happening, Timothy tried to flee in the direction of the Stone Kingdom.

Now that all of the demon beasts were heading towards them, Timothy chose to not hold back as he placed all of his energy into his movement technique to try to escape his enemy's clutches. Unfortunately, he was still not even an Intermediate stage expert, and the sheer power radiating from so many demon beasts that were very close to him and the rest now, pressed down onto his body as he could not move any longer while struggling would be useless.

He watched as the soldier's attack landed on the middle aged man's body, but it was easily broken apart with a single swing of his hand. From the looks of it, it seemed that the soldiers were not fast enough and that the middle aged man was able to break through in time. It made Timothy feel even worse, because the soldiers were his best chance at escaping this area alive!
