The next morning, many different things happened. First, there were roughly fifty ordinary humans who had made their way over to help Timothy with building the merchant company's headquarters. And because there were so many people working on it, there was little to no need for the rest of the group to assist so they all ended up joining the village guard for the time being. Since they joined the village guard, they also received quite a bit of free to use equipment which was better than their own due to their backgrounds.
As for Timothy and Cole, they were discussing the plans for the company's future and what Timothy wanted to move forward with doing. One of these plans was making Cole the manager for the entire operations. Such a big role made Cole feel slightly uneasy, but he reassured Timothy that he would still be able to accomplish such tasks. Timothy also told Cole that he would be going out adventuring consistently but that he would always be returning with more gold pieces and treasure which would in turn keep the company growing steadily.
With all of the preparations being handled and with Cole now on the same page as him, Timothy began writing out many scrolls of different techniques and training manuals. After six entire days and nights, not only were the buildings all rebuilt, but Timothy was also able to create a total of two hundred technique scrolls and a total of one hundred and twenty five training manuals. Luckily, he was able to purchase enough blank scrolls from the elders to accomplish this large task, as well as cloning everything he made once using his ability while others were not looking. From the sheer number of techniques and manuals available to them, all of Timothy's employees could not help but to feel that they made the correct decision by negotiating to have full access to all of them.
Since he did not have much to do during this time, Cole actually helped Timothy by copying each scroll's contents so that their private library would have two copies of each technique and manuals. This way, it would not be difficult for anyone hired by the merchant group, to have access to what they needed at any given time. However, after inquiring and looking at some of the scrolls, the elders of Fog Village began to negotiate once more with Timothy.
The reason for this was because the elders saw that every technique they picked up were at least of the mid tier which even a single one could help the guards of the village become much stronger if they were to master it. Timothy, knowing where the conversation was heading, decided to personally give three techniques that could be universally learned by those who were on the path of cultivation. There was no need for him to be stingy towards the citizens of Fog Village, because according to his estimation, he would easily get around seven hundred thousand gold pieces due to the quantity of techniques and manuals, but also because each one could actually be the foundation of a clan!
Usually, a clan would become stronger by relying on a special technique or training manual that has been passed down by their ancestors or found in an immortal's tomb. In Jacob's case, his clan's technique was considered to be a low tier technique that also had many negative effects for the user of said technique. This could also be why his clan had such a low status in Boulder Village. This would also include clans who had a specific type of bloodline that would aid them in becoming much stronger than their ordinary peers like George.
Timothy figured that if he were to give the village guards such a nice gift, that when he finally chose to hire everyone in the village, that at least the ones who were cultivators would have some kind of foundation as long as they worked hard to learn one of the three techniques. The elders felt rather content now that they chose to allow Timothy and his group to move in. It seemed like after the tribulation, their Fog Village was now on course toward a very bright future!
After helping Cole finish copying each of the scrolls and putting them inside of their headquarters, Timothy sat down with him once more. "Cole, now is the time for me to head back to Tornado City which means that you are to be in charge here during my journey there and back. I plan on selling many items that I have on hand and purchasing a large stock for our store to have. The elders already mentioned that they will send word to every other village in the region to let them know that they are ready to receive traders and visitors once again."
"You are to be my voice during this time and you must be able to make sure that there is at least some activity present by the time that I return. As you know, the elders are ready to have the rest of the villagers here work on rebuilding everything and you are probably the one person alive here that has the proper manager type skillset. I hope that you will decide to assist the elders to make our future in the village easier, but it is up to you because I do know that with so many more techniques and training manuals available, it would be very difficult to pass up on the opportunity to use them right away." Timothy told Cole with a stern type facial expression.
"True, if you did not explain to us that you had the Aura of Memory, I would have also been very suspicious on how you were able to memorize so many different techniques and training manuals. Since you did not use any aura during our match from what I personally witnessed, there is no reason for me to feel that you are hiding anything from us. Take your time in Tornado City and leave everything here to me, besides, I need to earn this Executive role somehow, right?" Cole replied before a hint of laughter came out of his mouth.
