It took over two hours for the older man to look through each scroll to verify its contents and in between the high tier ones, he would look up to Timothy as if he was crazy for wanting to sell all of these to the coliseum. Even if the coliseum just chose to sell the high tier ones to the royal family and use one per year for a special tournament, the amount of wealth that could be generated would possibly be enough to purchase the entire Stone Kingdom outright!
"You do not have to worry, your privacy will be firmly kept by our coliseum. I do not currently have an estimate and must ask The Circle for guidance on this matter. I just do not believe that we would have enough gold pieces on hand to compensate you properly and I feel as if it would be extremely rude to set up a payment plan with you." the older man told Timothy after pondering over what to even say at this point.
"Actually senior, I would not mind setting up a payment plan with your coliseum. Not only have you treated me very kindly, but I actually started my own merchant group. If we could set up a payment plan, it would absolutely help my merchant group grow steadily. Plus, I would not trust anyone else and these are all just copies of every scroll that is currently in our private library. However depending on how long the payment plan would be for and the lump sum for the initial payment would have to be discussed with the owners of the coliseum since this matter is not so simple."
Hearing Timothy's response made the older man shake with excitement and he was in fact correct. The Circle was the name of the five individuals who created the coliseum from its founding and each one was an immortal level expert. If they chose to create a payment plan, they would be able to keep up with the payments, but they were of course intelligent and would possibly even just set up a contract with Timothy's merchant group. This would be to handle continuous supplies whether to have their employees create prizes for tournaments, or even items good enough to be a prize as well.
As the older man left in order to meet with the owners of the coliseum, Timothy began talking once more to Master Sei. "Master, are you sure that such strong techniques and training manuals are things that we should be selling like we are? If a single person gets just two or three it could really make things difficult for rivals and such." Timothy asked Master Sei mentally while he continued eating his meal.
"Do not worry, the scrolls have incomplete techniques and training manuals. They may be considered mid tier and above, but really it would only be up to a true expert to see the hidden meanings within them to complete said chapters. You do not need to worry because I have almost an endless amount of complete techniques such as the ones I gave to you to build a proper foundation for yourself." Master Sei replied with a sinister look on his face.
For a kingdom like Stone Kingdom, these incomplete techniques and training manuals would be considered top tier, but in one of the few powerful kingdoms that existed around the world, the average organization or clan would have dozens of such scrolls in their vaults waiting to be used by their members. Timothy was still very early on in his cultivation path, so he simply did not know any better. However, hearing his master's explanation did make him feel much better.
The older man returned with one other individual that seemed as if she was just an ordinary human. "Timothy, this is one of the members of The Circle. She will be finalizing a proper agreement with you and hope that you are at least fair with our coliseum so we can all grow together in the future." the older man told Timothy before heading out. The female looked to be middle aged, but her skin was flawless as she wore a simple but unique looking robe.
"All of the scrolls seem to have incomplete techniques and training methods in them, but that does not mean they are unable to be used by our coliseum. We rarely see visitors from places who would recognize that these are all incomplete, and even if we did, they more than likely would not complain since I personally traveled around this world many times and have not seen such scrolls that existed."
"I am willing to offer you a total of one million gold pieces, and a total of fifty percent of all profits made over time as we use them for tournament prizes. Not only that, but since you are so capable of finding such quantities of valuable items, we are willing to create a contract with your merchant group. So long as you are able to continuously sell us such treasures, we will treat your business like it is our own and may even bring you more opportunities in the future. Do we have a deal?" the female cultivator asked Timothy, giving him almost no ability to counter offer.
Usually in a position like this, Timothy would choose not to make such big arrangements because it would limit future prospects, especially considering some that may be rivals with the coliseum. However, now that he had a buyer who was capable of purchasing anything he could bring to the table, Timothy chose to accept the contract. Plus, now with an entire fortune that would make even a patriarch of a powerful clan in Stone Kingdom jealous, Timothy immediately hit the market area of Tornado City after bidding farewell.
