After purchasing tens of thousands of different items at the market, Timothy headed back to the coliseum with the idea to not have to pay to rent a room, while he could clone everything once that he had purchased. The items that Timothy chose to purchase were considered to be fairly low tier, but if he were to clone them, he could offer all of them to the coliseum for a final sum of gold pieces or other perks before taking his leave to visit a friend of his that was around ten days away from Fog Village.
Moving forward, he would not make it look like he had such personal wealth, and even told the female immortal that he would personally head over once per year to collect his portion of the profits. This was also because he did not want to grow his merchant business too quickly. Slow and steady made more sense to him because he would rather have one hundred trustworthy experts under his employment compared to thousands of untrustworthy experts.
After selling the cloned items to the coliseum, Timothy began to head back to Fog Village right away with a total of one million gold pieces in his main storage ring and an additional eighty thousand in one of his backup storage rings which he would give to Cole to manage as well as all of the items he still had which were not personally useful to him moving forward. As he arrived closer to Fog Village, Timothy noticed that there was now a steady flow of merchants and experts traveling from its direction.
This was a clear sign to him that Fog Village was now back to receiving visitors. He was rather excited, because since it has already begun, the moment he arrived and gave Cole majority of the items he had, he could also hand over the other useful items to the six business owners who he was funding who may even have had some clients lined up since they did at least have some basic tools to get simple jobs done.
Upon arriving at Fog Village, Timothy could tell that there was quite a change happening because there were about three people waiting to go into the village as the guards at the entrance were larger in number and looked less tired and healthier. As he continued forward, he noticed that the entrance to Fog Village was wide open and that there were quite a few people inside of the village.
One of the guards who was one of his employees quickly recognized Timothy as he passed the line and immediately entered the village. He was feeling rather good because although it looked like Fog Village was still in the process of rebuilding, the villagers seemed to be working diligently. "Ah, Timothy it is great that you are back so quickly, as you can see, things are starting to pick up rather nicely." one of the elders rushed over and told him.
"We did not tell you since it was a long shot chance, but many of the survivors had families outside of the village and in a small township nearby. After taking the time to pack and move, our Fog Village's population increased by quite a bit which has made this entire rebuilding process much easier." he told Timothy as they walked together towards the headquarters of his merchant group.
"It seems that your Golden Finger Merchant Group has had a rather easy time growing since so many travelers are finally stopping into our village whether to rest or to make proper preparations to go to Tornado City. It has only been about two weeks since you had left, but I think you will be pleased with how things have progressed." the elder explained to Timothy as the two finally reached the seven buildings.
From what he was able to visibly see, all six of the smaller businesses were booming with several workers helping customers as the headquarters building seemed to be packed full as well. It was not until Timothy's presence was known, that Cole made his way out immediately to update him properly. "It is good to see that you are back so quickly because I have sort of made a problem arise which only you could fix." he told Timothy as the elder walked away to give the two some more privacy as they headed inside of the headquarters.
According to Cole, the six smaller businesses were being given far too many clients and so in order to keep up with the demand, they hired on some villagers to also take up the same trade and to work under the owners. Not just that, but as more and more experts arrived at Fog Village looking for work, the elders out of respect for Timothy directed all of them to the merchant group and so their total number of employees quickly surpassed sixty!
However, this is where the problem was, because handling so many weaker experts was not too much of an issue since they would be joining the village guards and when they were not working one of their shifts, they could look through the merchant group's library in order to find much more suitable techniques and training manuals to practice. But, since there was no extra type of work that needed to be done, the Golden Finger Merchant Group looked like a strange school of sorts that lacked a proper amount of rooms to fit everyone into!
Luckily, the two elders told Cole that the merchant group could take over the entire section of broken down buildings so that no one needed to sleep outside, but that once Timothy were to return, he would have to negotiate with them once more if they wanted to keep the buildings. This gave Timothy a slight headache, but with him now being a millionaire, it was more about what the two elders would try to get him to do outside of just paying a lump sum even for more space if their growth would remain this explosive.
