Depending on the demon beast, there were many different environments that only had certain types of demon beasts. For example, there were very cold environments that would have ice scorpions, while an extremely humid environment would have sand scorpion demon beasts. What worried Timothy was not that the demon beast he was now forced to fight had an advantage while in an underground type area like the one he was in, but that mud roach demon beasts were prone to lay numerous eggs without needing a mate!
Growing up, Timothy read stories about mountain dwarf tribes that would build the most beautiful cities within mountains and underground since dwarves were very skilled with both blacksmithing and mining. However, at times, if there was just a single roach that they were unable to kill before it would lay its eggs, it would be enough to take down the entire kingdom regardless of how many dwarven warriors existed within their ranks.
If Timothy had to face countless mud roach demon beasts, at least he would be able to kill them one at a time, because the tunnel was not big enough to allow two different roaches to team up against him given the average size of them. Still, just the thought that he would potentially have more than enough test subjects to perfect even his rarely used techniques was the only positive Timothy felt in this scenario.
Demon beasts, when killed, could be distributed to different vendors so that their corpses could be taken apart and the materials could be used for different things. Unfortunately, there existed demon beasts that when killed, the corpses were not even worth taking the trouble to carry back, and mud roach demon beasts fell into that category. Therefore, Timothy could not even earn anything for his troubles, which made him a little angrier.
Instead of backing down and separating the demon beast a little more, Timothy instead took the initiative and charged towards it as he poured a small portion of his battle qi into the tip of his sword. With a single stabbing motion, Timothy was able to create a large hole into the mud roach demon beast's head, causing it to screech loudly before falling face first into the ground. Timothy understood that the mud roach demon beast had done this, to call all of its siblings over in order to kill Timothy to avenge it.
The entire space began shaking violently as numerous eyes could be seen a short distance away by Timothy. "Well, I suppose it is time to kill all of you as well, just be good little roaches and stand still so I could end this a little quicker." Timothy said out loud before charging over. He was actually very pleased seeing how much destructive force his attack caused the mud roach, even though he used only a portion of his battle qi. This meant that if he was able to freely control the battle qi in his body, he could compete with stronger opponents!
