Sleeping in the tub, Roy was enjoying a well deserved rest. He wanted to continue as well, however life had other plans for him today.
A sudden impact awoke him, as he swerved his eyes to the source of the sound. Then another impact, and another.
Roy shot out of the bath, quickly putting on his clothes and armor.
Running downstairs, he could see the others, equipped in armor of their preference, ready to fight the sudden threat.
"Do we know what's outside?" Roy asked, looking specifically at Nocturna, who had gotten a much better control of her abilities recently.
Casting her skill, Nocturna used her connection with the mycellium to view the situation.
"A large number of bipeds are outside, swinging weapons at the tree. I think they're goblins!" Nocturna fearfully screamed.
"Nocturna! Calm down, this isn't the time to lose our cool." Roy said as he rubbed the small fairy's head soothingly.
"Get ready, this is going to be a tough fight, if we need to run, listen to me immediately. I can feel an oppressive force out there..." Roy looked out, as if peering through the layers of wood.
Eyes slit, Roy looked back at his companions, before rushing out the entrance of the tree base.
Stepping outside, the first thing Roy noticed, was the tree being surrounded by a large number of tier two goblins.
"SHIT!" Roy screamed, turning around to run back into the tree. The goblins, spotting him chased after them.
"NOCTURNA WE NEED YOU TO TANGLE THOSE GOBLINS!" Roy screamed out at the top of his lungs, as he ran to catch Inbellis and Nocturna in his hands.
Solus and Terren followed behind him, as the ran up the tree to the second floor. Roy opened one of the hidden windows he had created before and dove out.
Shielding the two others with his body, Roy plummeted down the cliff. Terren paused for a moment, before hearing the screams and taunts of the goblins. She closed her eyes and jumped!
Solus, without even a second thought, dove out of the room, as the ripping sound or the mycelium echoed from behind her.

"Sir! The suspects jumped out of the tree, diving off the cliff. Should we give chase?" One of the higher ranked subordinates came up to make his report.
"Of course, you idiots! Run after them, now!" Ampharn angrily yelled, as he ran to the cliff edge, and jumped.
As his body plummeted to the ground, Ampharn peered around looking for the creatures he spent so long searching for.
Spotting them on the ground, surrounded by a dissipating black cloud, Ampharn corrected his trajectory.
He landed on the ground with a small explosion of dirt and plant debris.
"Are you the ones that killed the goblins in that village?" Ampharn glared with pure anger and hatred.
The orc, standing in front of the others, said something to the small fairy, before walking up to talk to Ampharn.
"Yes, we are. I assume you're here to kill us?" The orc asked in broken Gobish.
"Oh? So you speak a bit of Gobish, eh?" Ampharn calmed a bit, looking at the interesting young orc before him.
"Yes, on order of the king of the goblin kingdom, you have been sentenced to death, and your women will be taken into custody." A wicked smile formed on Ampharn's face, as he awaited the crying, begging face of the young orc.
"Sorry, but I can't let that happen!" The young orc screamed out, as he shot something from his fingers, towards Ampharn.
Ampharn's eyes shot wide, as he tilted his head. Barely dodging the attack, he looked at the orc, before giving a rare compliment.
"Very interesting, you almost got me there!" Ampharn swung his arm down at the head of the orc, attempting to end it instantly for amusing him.
As his hand was just about to reach the orc, a bunch of fuzzy roots stretched out from the earth, wrapping around his body.
"What the fuck is this?" Ampharn ripped the roots from his body, as he continued to move towards the orc.
"I don't know what you're doing, but you just lost your chance at a quick death." Ampharn brandished his weapon, swinging it down on the orc once again.
And once again, he was impeded. This time the orc used mana to increase Ampharn's weight, pulling his sword down before it could reach the target.
"You annoying fly!" Ampharn, starting to become blinded by rage, completely forgettign the others. He had full tunnel vision as he began haphazardly swinging his sword in the orc's direction.
Every time the sword made contact, a hole was made in the orc's armor, a pained grimace would appear on its face.
...
"ROY!" A scream echoed out, as the orc in front of Ampharn turned its head, nodding.
Pulling its tired body, the orc dove to the side. Suddenly a big, black cloud surrounded Ampharn.
A flurry of feelings and effects hit him, causing him to kneel on the ground.
Clutching his head, a sudden rush of pain, misery, depression, and fear assaulted him. His whole body felt slow, as if he had time slowed down on him.
*ROAR*
Ampharn screamed out, releasing his mana, from his body. He tried clearing his mind, but the effects were still there somewhat. He looked around the darkness surrounding him, as he wished to free himself from these horrid debuffs.
As he walked though, the cloud of black followed him. "I'LL KILL YOU WHEN I FIND YOU, DO YOU HEAR ME?!"

"Hah Hah... Roy panted, as he crawled towards the others desperately. He was horribly cut, and felt as if he could die the moment he falls asleep. He kept picturing his friend's faces, no his family's faces as he pushed himself forward desperately.
*Rustle*
"Wha!" Roy jumped, hearing a sound coming from his right. Luckily it was Solus and Terren, who weren't in much better shape than Roy. They went to stop the onslaught of the other goblins, so they wouldn't be surrounded.
"We couldn't beat a single one... They are way too strong! We need to leave now!" Terren whisper-yelled to Roy, as she limped over to him.
Using his mana, Roy patched up the surface cuts, to try and keep blood loss to a minimum.
"This is all my fault, If I had just evolved, like I could have, we wouldn't have been put in this situation!" Roy looked down, feeling depressed.
'I nearly got everyone killed, just because I got greedy with the achievements...'
"No! It's not your fault, it's mine... I was already being chased by the hunters before I met you guys!" Nocturna cried out.
"It's none of our faults. Stop putting yourselves down and move!" Solus angrily told the two, as she tightly gripped her arm. She had been hit with a powerful attack, which managed to pierce her bone.
"...Solus is right, this was bound to happen eventually, if we kept destroying the goblin encampments." Roy still looked downtrodden, but made himself move, as the party searched for somewhere to rest.
"They have a hunter with them, they'll be able to find us immediately if we stay here." Roy told them. He had checked the stats of the goblins quickly when he peaked his head out of the tree earlier, so he had a decent idea of the forces chasing them.
"What should we do then?!" Nocturna asked, slightly panicking.
"The river." Roy said, as he looked forward towards the river that had guided him since the beginning.
