Meanwhile Carol was in the guest room, she was in such a rage earlier that when she returned to her bedroom she had started to smash things up. The butler and maid where now left cleaning it. She sat seething, her rage had not calmed after venting even if her body was tierd. Carol gripped the armchair she sat in. Her son was smart for once she should be proud of that, but he had ruined her plans. Her husband had not let Diane stay, useless men. What was she to do now, she sat late into the night in the dark guest room.
