Chapter 2
Yuudai sat on his couch and turned the TV on, he changed the channel to the news.
"Isao Tanigawa has been arrested for murder" The news reporter said "He is suspected to have poisoned Shuji Uno"
Emi came in his house "It seemed to have worked"
"Who gave you the keys to my house?" Yuudai said confused
"I've copied your keys" She said calmly "I'll prepare something to drink"
"Emi, next time you come here, tell me" Yuudai said "I might confuse you as a robber"
"I will" Emi said heading to the kitchen
"He also tried to poison four other students" The news reporter said "Two of them are recovering at hospital and the other two were lucky, they had avoided the drink by accident"
Emi came back with some tea "Here you go" She gave him some tea
Yuudai had a police file "They suspect that someone of the WJO is in our university"
"Will we change universities?" Emi asked sitting beside him
"That would me us a bit of a suspect" Yuudai said
"What will we do?" Emi asked
Yuudai took a sip of his drink "We will have to divert the attention to somewhere else"
"It's a good plan" Emi said
"By the way, how's Shika?" Yuudai asked
"As you heard from the news, she's recovering" Emi said while drinking the tea "But why do you worry about her?"
"Emi, she's our friend" Yuudai said "I feel bad using her as part of the plan"
"And what about Isao?" Emi asked
"I researched more about him, he led a kid to suicide" Yuudai said "He used to bully people but he supposedly changed"
"I understand" Emi said "Now, how will we draw the attention to another place?"
"Not us, they will" Yuudai said "Tell Kenshin and Izanami, it's time to cause a bit of mischief"
"Those two? What do you want them to do?" Emi asked
"I'll send them the details" Yuudai said drinking his tea
Emi sighed "Fine..."
(In an unknown location.)
"I was quite busy, what does he want me to do now?" A man wearing a mask and a fedora hat on.
"He called you too?" A very short girl said
"Oh, hey kid" The man said
"I'm the same age as you" The little girl said
Kenshin Arakaki alias The Disguiser, as his name says he is a master at disguising as other people. His stealth is very impressive, he would be able to rob a bank without any cameras, guards or alarms noticing his presence.
Izanami Higuchi alias Phantom Creator, she has a high knowledge on technology and she helps fixing or building new weapons or gadgets. She created a humanoid by herself, with a complex A.I and that's a huge achivement.
"You didn't bring M1-K4?" Kenshin asked
"The commander said to not bring her" Izanami said "Anyways why are we here again?"
A sort of device rang on their pockets.
"Speaking of the devil" Kenshin pulled the device out, a small hologram of Yuudai appeared ontop of it.
"Good evening Kenshin and Izanami" Yuudai waved
"Why did you send us here?" Izanami asked
"The university where Emi and I are studying is being investigated after I sent them the false documents" Yuudai said
"Well of course, they suspect that there's more than one member of the WJO there" Izanami said
"So! This will be the plan..." Yuudai said
(Moments later)
There was a massive skyscraper, it was heavily secured.
In the shadows Kenshin and Izanami snuck in.
"This is highly secured?" Kenshin said confused "We haven't faced any obstacles"
Izanami stopped "Shh! I hear footsteps" she said in lower tone
She rolled a small ball, a few seconds later something fell on the floor.
"It worked" Izanami said delighted
Around the corner, two guards were on the ground.
"What did you do?" Kenshin asked
She grabbed the small ball "It's a small robot that injects something to make them fall asleep"
"B-B" A guard said on the floor
"And also one that paralyzes" Izanami said
"We should continue" Kenshin said
"I wonder if Yuudai will praise me" Izanami said
They kept walking, avoiding cameras and alarms and also knocking out incoming guards.
"Well we arrived to the office" Kenshin said bored
"Yeah, this place wasn't highly secured" Izanami said
They opened the door...
"Oh" Izanami said
Guards started shooting from inside, Kenshin and Izanami took cover.
"Well, there they are" Kenshin said while puling a futuristic gun.
"Yeah" Izanami said while an a futuristic AK-47 appeared on her hands.
"Wow, where did you hide that?" Kenshin asked
"I wore it as a bracelet, I created a hidden weapon that you can transform it to a bracelet" Izanami said while shooting
"I should get one of those" Kenshin said while shooting aswell
There were less shots being fired, so Kenshin and Izanami decided to push ahead, they shot all the guards in just seconds.
"Did we shoot our victim by accident?" Kenshin asked
"No, he's behind that desk" Izanami said
A man with a business suit popped out.
"P-Please leave me alone" The business man said "I-I have money"
"Hm? Money?" Kenshin said curious
"Y-Yeah, I-I can give you a thousand, no a million!" The man said
"Sorry man, we're not here for the money" Kenshin said
"Just throw him out of the window" Izanami said
"What?" The man asked. In a swift move Kenshin kicked the man through the window, shattering it, and the man fell from the 80th Floor.
"That was satisfying" Kenshin said
"There's already some cops on the ground" Izanami said while looking out through the shattered window "And the man is still falling, this place really is that tall"
"So... how do we get down?" Kenshin said "We can't go back the way we came"
"A police hovercraft! Hide!" Izanami said
They both hid behind the desk.
A hovercraft hovered and scanned the room.
"They're scanning the room!" Kenshin said "They'll discover us!"
"Yeah I know!" Izanami said, she made a UI appear infront of her "I'll try hacking it"
The police hovercraft was halfway scanning the room.
"Hurry up!" Kenshin said panicked
"I know that you idiot!" Izanami said panicked
The police hovercraft was about to scan the desk.
"Done!" Izanami said in relief
The hovercraft stopped scanning, turned around and opened a door for them to enter.
"Well let's get in" Izanami said
"Are you sure?" Kenshin asked worried
"This is the only escape" Izanami asked "Now let's go"
They both entered the hovercraft and the door closed behind them.
"Put your seatbelts on" Izanami said pressing buttons in the cockpit
"You know how to drive this?" Kenshin said worried
"Nope" Izanami said
Kenshin immediately sat down and put his seatbelt on.
Izanami started flying the hovercraft, the ride was a bit shaky.
"Hm? Enemies... Enemies?!" Izanami read
Bullets were shot from behind their hovercraft, it was a bunch of other police hovercrafts.
"Hang on!" Izanami said
Kenshin grabbed his seat tightly.
Izanami began dodging bullets and trying to lose them by flying very low.
"We're going very low!!" Kenshin said terrified
"Shut up! I'm trying to lose them!" Izanami said
Izanami was flying through a small tunnel, it made two hovercrafts stop, there was only one left.
"There's only one left" Izanami said
It was difficult to lose him, it started shooting again.
"It shot the left engine!" Izanami said "Kenshin do something!"
Kenshin was passed out from all the trauma.
"Useless" Izanami got a call "Commander?"
"Izanami, do you see that builing that looks like a Y?" Yuudai said
There was a big building, shaped as a Y a few streets away.
"Yeah, so?" Izanami said
"Fly the ship through the Y" Yuudai said "I'll handle it"
"Yes sir!" Izanami boosted the hovercraft staright towards the Y.
The other hovercraft kept shooting at them, so Izanami had to do some evasive maneuvers.
Izanmi flew through the Y, the police hovercraft followed.
A shadow with wings landed on the police hovercraft and made it explode.
"Thanks Commander!" Izanami said
It was Yuudai, he was wearing the same outfit like last time, but this time he had metal wings that made him fly.
"Return to base, we'll cover you" Yuudai said
"Okay Commander!" Izanami flew away.
Police hovercrafts surrounded Yuudai.
"Surrender now!" Speakers from the hovercraft said "Or we will shoot!"
Yuudai sighed "The government will kill me anyway" A gun appeared in each of his hand
"Drop the weapon!" The police said "Or we will shoot!"
A hovercraft suddenly exploded.
Yuudai shot down all of the hovercrafts easily, they weren't fast enough to shoot him.
"You shouldn't mess with me in a gun fight" Yuudai said "My shots are accurate, also thanks Emi"
Emi was in a high building, she had a sniper.
"I will always assist you" Emi said
"Let's head back, our work is done" Yuudai said
He flew away and Emi vanished in the darkness
(Hours later)
Back at the building, in the room where Izanami and Kenshin threw the man out of the window, the police were investigating it.
"So this is where they threw the man out?" The detective asked
"Yes sir" A cop said "We investigated the man"
Another cop gave him a file.
"Takehiko Mano, a rich business man who had been suspected of raping and murdering a woman age 22" The cop said "He was found not guilty, even though there was a few testimonies"
"I see" The detective said "So this is their judgement"
"Who's judgement?" The cop asked
"There was two individuals, right?" The detective asked
"Yes, victims said that one of them looked like a man and another one a girl" The cop said
The detective noticed something under the desk, he grabbed it, it was a wallet.
"A wallet? Is this from the victim?" The detective pulled a card out "Hm? Kenji Sera, Student from Tokio Institute of Technology. Does Mr. Mano have a son?"
"No sir" The cop said
"Hmm, investigate this university" The detective said
"Yes sir" The cop said and left.
"Hmm... there's something strange about this" The detective thought.
