After that, we should go to Gabe's Autoshop located right up the road from us and that's about a three-minute drive from here.

"Why the hell do we need to go to an auto shop?" Rob asked. I said that I am not going to be making a long drive and all of a sudden something in the engine goes bad and we have nothing to fix it with. We are going there just in case something happens to our only form of transportation. With that said everyone grabs some dinner and hits the hay. All three of us have a very long day tomorrow.

I then went over to Aaron back in the cafeteria to give him a rundown of what is happening tomorrow. I told him where we are going and to keep an eye out here and to make sure everything flows smoothly. All of us then went and grabbed some dinner which happened to be canned tuna and some soggy peas. Let me just say it tasted like shit.

After dinner, I grabbed some other food and snacks for tomorrow's trip. I grabbed some crackers, cheese, canned fruit, and finally some bagged chicken. I then put them into this big tote and dragged it over to the truck back in the garage. Once that was done I went to bed.

I walked back to the bedrooms where I found everyone talking around in a circle. We all began talking about what we were going to do the night of the apocalypse. Jim had plans to go with his family to get some dinner then watch a movie. Owen was planning on going for a run with Jordan. Jeremy said he was going to take a nap. We all could have guessed that one. I just had a scout meeting that night, but none of that matters anymore I guess.

After that, we all closed our eyes and fell asleep except for me. I found it very troubling to sleep when I know that tomorrow could be my last day on this Earth. If anything goes wrong, I could lose a friend and potentially my own life in the process. I know that I planned this trip down to the last possible scenario but something could still go wrong at any moment. What if we saw another living person on this trip, what would we do?

Once I got those thoughts submerged deep in the back of my mind, I would finally be able to sleep. I did end up getting a couple of hours of sleep, but it was not the greatest. I woke up and started getting everything all together so that way when I got the other two up and going, we would be able to hit the road.

I got Jeremy up first then told him to get Rob. After that, we each took our turns getting ready for the long day ahead of us. Showers had to be quick and it was not hot water by any means, but a shower is a shower at this point. Next was getting dressed and brushing my teeth. Jeremy and I were waiting at the door leading to the garage for Rob. that man takes forever to get ready. I don't know what could take him so long considering there isn't much to do.
