~MONIKKA'S POINT OF VIEW~
These were getting out of control.
These crazy, weird, and unsolved feelings towards Cody were making me a headache (and a heartache).
It felt like Cody was like a drug or something. I tried to get rid of him, but he keeps on coming back, not because he walked to me, but I walked to him.
I shook my thoughts away like a mad person and walked faster to school.
Today Cody, Coraline, and I are in the same class until break time.
I got into the class and wandered around the room only to find Cody and Coraline playing rock, paper, scissors.
I walked over to them, and they realized my presents.
Coraline waved at me with a smile.
"Oh, hey, Monikka. You look beautiful today." Cody said and smiled at me.
It felt like my heart stopped for a while.
CODY SMILED AT ME. HE SMILED AT MY FUCKING FACE, SHI-
I felt blood rushing through my face, and it was getting hotter. I fanned myself. Cody chuckled.
"Mon mon, this room is cold enough. Why are you still fanning yourself?" Cody asked. I froze.
"What did you just called me?" I asked.
Cody went pale. "It-it's not that, I-I just, it just came out of my mouth. Don't kill me." He said as he covered his face with his hands. This boy looks legit scared.
I chuckled.
"No, no, I kind of like it. People never gave me nicknames before. It feels good to be called by your nickname. It will usually mean you are comfortable around me." I said.
It is true. I haven't had any nicknames before. I did have it when my parents were with me.
But it wasn't the nicknames you expected.
Slut.
Bitch.
Weak.
You piece of shit.
Slave.
Etc.
I sighed. My childhood isn't the best time of my life. Most people were playing around and have some fun while I was locked in my house, tortured.
But it wasn't a problem anymore.
"Okay then, since you guys made nicknames for me. How about I make yours and Coraline." I said.
Then I started to think.
Their first name won't make any good nicknames.
So their surname will be nice.
"Okay, I will just name O'Shea and Will for Williams," I smiled. "Your first names won't make any good nicknames. So I will take it from your surnames. Are you guys okay with that?" I asked.
"Of course!" Cody exclaimed, and Coraline gave me a thumbs up.
"Oops, the teacher's here," I said, and we all went back to our places.
//THE NEXT DAY//
"Oh, hey, guys!" I said as I found the two peeps waiting in front of the gates.
"Oh, hey, Mon mon," Cody said casually. I chuckled.
"What are you guys doing here?" I asked, confused.
Coraline shoved her notebook to me.
People were looking at us weirdly. So we thought we should wait for you in case something happens.
"Weirdly?" I asked. "Well, now that I am here. Come on then." I gestured them to follow me.
Coraline was right.
Not that I cared because people always looked at me weirdly, but this is different.
These are a different kind of weird. The students started whispering to each other.
"So the rumors are right. They are friends."
"They look so weird together."
"Did they ran out of people to befriend with?"
"Three losers hanging out. These are getting interesting."
"My eyes are getting hurt."
"The dark aura, the nerd, and the unwanted, this is pathetic."
I stopped my tracks, but I still faced the front without looking back at the guy who insulted us.
"At least we are not as pathetic as your grandma's sister. Tell her that my dad enjoyed last night for me. I am sure she'll be glad to hear the news." I smirked while the rest gasped and laughed.
Sometimes you just gotta make the call.
I continued walking while I felt Cody and Coraline following me.
//TIME SKIPS//
Well, being a hot topic isn't new to me. I am used to it.
But I am not sure about Cody and Coraline.
They look scared.
Maybe because of the negative judgments people gave them.
At lunchtime, Cody sat beside me, which is rare since he didn't like the attention drawn when we were near to each other.
My heart started to beat so fast, and my hands were too shaky to take my lunch.
Coraline noticed me and smirked. Then she started to write something, she folded the paper and gave it to me. She signaled me to read it without Cody seeing it.
I looked at her weirdly, unfolded the paper, and read it.
_It looks like someone's got a crush :)))_
I unexpectedly snorted out loud. The whole cafeteria went quiet, and many eyes were staring at me. I looked over to Coraline who was fighting to smile.
"WHAT ARE YOU ALL LOOKING AT?!" I shouted. The whole people immediately turned their heads and began to mind their own business.
I began to write back on the paper.
_That is the crappiest bullshit I have ever seen. Stop imagining around, O'Shea._
I gave the paper back to her.
After she read it, she just mouthed me. Who knows?

Cody and I were sitting together in our class. Coraline had different classes, so she wasn't with us.
It was still 15 minutes until the class started, so Cody and I just chatted random kinds of stuff.
"Hey, Mon mon?" Cody asked softly.
Suddenly I didn't get used to that name.
"Hm?" I hummed.
"I think I like someone." He mumbled softly.
Dug
Dug
Dug
My heart started hammering so wild I could hear it with my ears.
"R-really?" I asked. Dammit, Monikka. You shouldn't stutter. This is so not me.
"Yeah... I have been thinking a lot. Maybe it was just something I shouldn't be thinking about it a lot. But then I realized that I couldn't run away from these feelings. And I am telling you this because I trust you." He smiled softly. I feel like fainting.
"Who is it?" I asked eagerly.
"I-I think I like... I think I like..."
"I think I like Coraline."
