"I-I think I like Coraline."

For a moment it felt like my heart stopped beating.

"W-what?"

"I like Coraline, Monikka. I like her. I kept convincing myself that I don't like her but I can't run away from it." Cody said as if he was in pain.

Him? In pain? Pfft.

I wanted to feel angry and spiteful about it but all I could manage to feel was sorrow. It felt like arrows were shooting through my heart.

Tears began to prick on the corner of my eyes while I bit my lip to stop myself from sobbing.

Why does it hurt so much?

"Monikka?" Cody asked in concern.

I quickly stood up. "I need to go to the bathroom real quick."

And with that, I left the classroom.

I rushed to the girl's restroom. Then I slid my back on one of the sinks, hugging my knees and sobbing my heart out.

I must be looking pretty ugly right now. No shit, Coraline would probably look prettier than me.

I never felt this way before my life. Sadness because of some guy who likes another girl.

No no, he isn't just some guy, he's my crush.

I began to cry harder at the thought of him confessing to me that he likes my friend, his friend too.

Suddenly I heard a gasp beside me. I looked up and saw Coraline walking towards me with a worried and confused expression. She got startled by my messed up face. She hurriedly took out the notebook that I gave her on our first meeting.

_What are you doing here?! And why are you crying?_

Once I read her notebook, I looked up to her with a straight face.

"Why do you care?" I asked coldly.

//THIRD PERSON'S POINT OF VIEW//

"Why do you care?" Monikka asked coldly towards Coraline.

Coraline flinched at her sudden behavior. She changed. Monikka would never talk carelessly to her like that, even from the first time they met.

Coraline took another look at Monikka's face and there she knew that Monikka wasn't angry, her eyes aren't filled with hatred... it was filled with sadness.

Coraline began to write in her notebook again.

_Tell me who did this to you, I can help :)_

"I don't need your help," Monikka said coldly to me. "I am going now, bye." Monikka bid and with that, she left.

Not gonna lie, O'Shea was sad. She thought every friend was supposed to be telling each other their problems and find a way to solve it.

But she won't give up.

She will find the source of Monikka's sadness and will give revenge on them.

~ON THE OTHER SIDE~

"Oh, you're back." Cody smiled seeing Monikka's presence in the class. Monikka just scoffed and took her seat next to Cody.

"So I was wondering if you could-" Cody started.

"Would you just shut up for one damn second?" Monikka snapped.

Cody flinched at her sudden reaction, still not used to her being mad. But Cody knew his lines, so he kept quiet.

Monikka sighed seeing Cody's shitty expression, so she decided to lighten up the mood.

"What were you gonna say, huh? Tell me before the teacher comes." Monikka said sternly.

Cody's face lighten up and started to waste no time.

"Okay, I know this sounds selfish or whatever but can you help me set up a date for me and Coraline? It would mean a lot to me." Cody said with no sin in his voice.

Monikka's heart broke more.

Monikka can't even cry right now, too much sadness held inside her heart that she couldn't even cry.

That is how worse the pain Monikka has been feeling these last 5 minutes.

Seems like all her childhood pain from the past is brought up all together into these 5 minutes.

Too much pain for her to handle. But she will do it anyway, for the sake of her friendship.

But she will do something in return.

No, something that doesn't include Coraline and Cody of course, they wouldn't even have to know about this at all. It will be the only way to at least lessen up her sadness.

Monikka looked up to Cody and smiled. "Sure, I will do it. Just tell me what to do."

//TIME SKIPS//

Mon Mon:

Hey, O'Shea

O'Shea:

Huh? Did you call?

Wassup, Mon

Mon Mon:

Uhh yeah

Listen

Do you know the fancy restaurant near xxxx street?

O'Shea:

Yeah, why do you ask tho?

Mon Mon:

Listen, I need you to go there for me

O'Shea:

Uhh... Why?

Mon Mon:

Just trust me

See you in 10

And dress nice

Wait, what?

Coraline stared at her phone in confusion.

Are they setting up a hangout again? But why didn't they tell her?

Heh, not like she cared, as long as they hang out.

Coraline dressed up nicely and went out to the restaurant.

"Alright," Monikka said. "The stage is all yours." She smiled at Cody.

"Thanks, Mon Mon," Cody said happily and hugged her tightly.

Suddenly Monikka's heart began to beat fastly.

Stop it Monikka, he likes someone else. Monikka reminded herself.

"Now go get your girl," Monikka said. "Oh and if you guys are already dating, don't contact me tonight... I have something to do."

Cody nodded an 'okay' and both of them bid goodbye.

Once Monikka left, Coraline appeared.

Coraline waved at him and he smiled.

Hopefully this will go well.

//ON THE OTHER SIDE//

Monikka just stared at the strangled man in front of her with a knife oh her right hand. She sighed.

"You know, it has been long since I have done this. So you are lucky enough to have this slowly but painfully." Monikka said, smirking. "This will be one of the ways to get my mind of those 2 lovebirds."

Monikka tilted her head at the poor man who was crying his eyes out, confused at what to do with him.

She walked up to the man's bare thighs and slashed a big cut on it. The man screamed out in pain but unable to talk with the cloth covering his mouth.

"That is right, scream, you pathetic, weak human." Monikka smiled.

Monikka took up a lemon from her back and showed it to the man. The man vigorously shook his head which made her smile more.

She placed the lemon on top of his cut thighs and squeezed it until the water came out and hit the cut.

The man screamed more which made Monikka laughed.

Monikka then pulled the man's head until he looked at the ceiling, then poured some lemon water into his eyes.

But the point is that there will be all screaming and laughing with joy.
